About: I have taken care of multiple pets since a young age. I have experience with dogs of all ages, cats and other small pets. I currently help take care of a 4 year old Irish terrier named Ike and have a full time job My schedule is flexible when it comes to work. Dependent on the week, that could mean 3-4 days of full availability. During that time, I am available any time during the day. I help take care of our family pets by providing morning and evening food for all. IF for any reason I am unable to do so, family and friends will assist so the animals never go unattended!

“Heather was great! She was on time and kept me informed of her visit and also sent pictures. I would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I owned a cat which I considered my child for over 10 years. She unfortunately just passed away after she got sick. I have so much love to give. I have taken care of friends and family's cats and doggies. I have experience with parrot sitting as well. Currently not working so I am available all day to take pets on walks, drop in visits and even to stay in the home all day and over night to provide care. I would prefer to provide services in the owners home. I have elderly parents that live in my home and they aren't very keen on change or additions. Our doggy is about as much as they can handle.

About: I've been watching and taking care of dogs for the past four years plus a cat and till this day I help take care of my sisters cat when she leaves for out of town. I'm currently working part time so at the moment so I have a lot of free time during the weekdays, and I am starting college this year so hopefully this job can help me out. I understand that every animal is different and every owner has their own rules for their pet and I will respect any rules given to me.

About: Hello! My name is Kendall and I am currently a Stay at Home Mom to my precious baby girl. I took a break from pet-sitting on Rover after graduating college so I could focus on my full-time career in Human Resources. After my daughter was born my husband and I decided it would be best for me to stay home with her. I have quite a bit of free time now and am looking for good ways to get out of the house! I have owned pets my entire adult life and have been pet-sitting for friends, family and neighbors since graduating from high school in 2012. I have experience with both cats and dogs and am no stranger to medically complex pets. I currently have two cats (one with chronic medical needs) and a very large, very dopey but loveable dog. I’m currently living in the Chesterfield/New Baltimore area but am open to commuting! I’ve also lived in Clinton Township, Shelby Township and Rochester, so I’m very familiar with those areas. I’m a stay at home Mom right now so my schedule is wide open and very flexible! I have lots of free time for drop in visits and walks. I have a large fenced in yard (tall privacy fence) with lots of room to run and play! I also have an open-house policy for my pets and any visiting pets, but do have pet gates on hand if needed.

About: I am a nurse and love caring for people just like I love caring for pets! I’ve had dogs my whole life and know how to care for them. I am very reliable. I work three twelve hour shifts a week at the hospital and when I’m not working I have a lot of free time. My shifts vary during the week but the days I am off I would love to care for dogs. I take my dog on walks and feed him all of his meals. I play with him and love all the dog cuddles. I always make sure that he is well taken care of.

“Tammy is the best! She’s always available, even in short notice.”

About: I don’t know what life’s like without a dog! I’ve learned the responsibility of taking care of family pets most my life and I am now a dog dad to my baby girl, Fenty. I enjoy dog walking with the music playing, going to the dog park to see other fur babies, handing out treats after commands/tricks or simply staying at home giving out belly rubs. I have only a handful of experiences looking after cats. I am in between jobs right now and can be available during everyone else’s odd times. I appreciate the opportunity to make some cash while being around the animals in which I have deep love for. They bring me joy just as I hope to bring to them. I believe surrounding myself with pets and responsibilities will help get me through this chapter of my life. I am very respectful for boundaries in someone else’s space. I always try to remember: leave a space the way you found it. Looking after pets, they’ll not only be nourished with food but with love, too.

17. Kendall B.
“I recently experienced a family emergency in which I had to leave the state for several days with very little notice. I had previously worked with Kendall in daycare and knew she was reliable and good with animals, so I asked her last minute if she could watch my 6 year old lab, Bear. Kendall stayed at my home the entire time I was away and sent me multiple updates a day of Bear so I wouldn't worry. She kept up with his routine (treats, potty breaks, play time, etc) and made sure he had plenty of play time. It was such a comfort to know that while I was away Bear was in good hands.”

18. Juliette T.
“Juliette has been so caring and reliable when she has watched my dog. She responds to communications timely and isn't afraid to ask questions or let me know if something seems off with my dog. I admire her for that. She's never cancelled on me and she communicates her schedule to me far in advance so its easy for e to plan. I would definitely recommend Juliette as a pet caretaker to anyone in need.”
