“Christine was absolutely wonderful with our dogs, Jackson and Kato. This was her first stay with them, and unfortunately she walked into a situation none of us fully understood at the time. Our senior dog, Jackson, was in the very early stages of what we later learned was likely a stroke or other serious medical event. His condition deteriorated rapidly after we returned home, and we ultimately had to help him cross the rainbow bridge just a few days later. Throughout her stay, Christine was observant, compassionate, communicative, and incredibly kind to both dogs. She cared for Jackson with patience and love during what turned out to be one of the final weekends of his life, and I will always be grateful for that. Knowing he spent those days being cuddled, comforted, and genuinely cared for brings our family tremendous comfort. She also completely won over our other senior dog, Kato, who adored her from the start. Christine followed detailed medication instructions, cared for two dogs with significant medical needs, took wonderful care of our home, and communicated thoughtfully throughout her stay. Most importantly, she treated our dogs like they were her own. We would welcome Christine back without hesitation and hope to have her spend time with Kato again in the future. About: I’ve taken care of the dogs in the family for years, and still do with two pups of my own. I also work at a veterinary hospital as a vet tech I can tend to emergency situations, post- op care, giving medication’s cleaning bowls regularly, noticing any issues and giving them lots of kisses! I’m comfortable with senior dogs and puppies, and used to foster! I’m also CPR certified! I work 12 hour shifts every other day, so I’m open to weekend stays, days after work and the entire next day, some holidays, vacations. On days I don’t work I can stop by often to play, go for a walk, hang inside/outside or go for a car ride! Depending on your home, I’m comfortable crating if necessary, separating multiple dogs for meals, keeping them calm after eating, not leaving them unattended with toys then can rip apart or anything they can get into, including anything I might have, (shoes, purse, keys). If we go for a walk I will ensure all equipment fits properly so we don’t have any issues.
