I have had dogs and rodents my entire life, but have plenty of experience with other animals such as cats, chickens, pigs, goats, horses, and fish. “Rachel did a great job taking care of our dog, Sully! I get anxious about leaving him and this was the most relaxed I've been on a trip in a long time. She was timely and responsible, and really took in all of the Sully-information I gave her. (He has allergies and meds, so it was more info than your average dog.) She provided frequent updates and was able to get two rounds of exercise in, despite it being mid-July. Sully seemed really relaxed (and tuckered out!) when we returned and the house was in great shape. I would definitely hire Rachel again!”

About: Ive always loved all animals, and have had experience all through my life with them as I've had cats and dogs my whole life, I currently have 2 dogs at home, and they are crazy! I do now have and specific or special training with pets, I do know how to take care of and handle daily tasks for cats/dogs. I am looking to take care of pets full time for now, and want to continue taking care of them into the future, I'm available most days out of the week every week. With my dogs at home I walk them, pick up the poop and throw it away, I feed them, they get 2 different foods, Jasper is a puppy and needs a slow feeder, buddy is 2 years and gets fed out of a normal bowl, they get fed twice daily once in the morning and once at night. They love to play fetch and tug of war, but also like their cuddle time.

“Christine was absolutely wonderful with our dogs, Jackson and Kato. This was her first stay with them, and unfortunately she walked into a situation none of us fully understood at the time. Our senior dog, Jackson, was in the very early stages of what we later learned was likely a stroke or other serious medical event. His condition deteriorated rapidly after we returned home, and we ultimately had to help him cross the rainbow bridge just a few days later. Throughout her stay, Christine was observant, compassionate, communicative, and incredibly kind to both dogs. She cared for Jackson with patience and love during what turned out to be one of the final weekends of his life, and I will always be grateful for that. Knowing he spent those days being cuddled, comforted, and genuinely cared for brings our family tremendous comfort. She also completely won over our other senior dog, Kato, who adored her from the start. Christine followed detailed medication instructions, cared for two dogs with significant medical needs, took wonderful care of our home, and communicated thoughtfully throughout her stay. Most importantly, she treated our dogs like they were her own. We would welcome Christine back without hesitation and hope to have her spend time with Kato again in the future. Anyone considering booking with her should feel completely confident doing so. Thank you, Christine, for your kindness, professionalism, and for showing so much love to our boys.”

About: I have dealt with many cats in my life, I have my own cat of 8 years who I raised my self, I am also good with dogs, even though I’ve only owned one, I took good care of her! I have school and work, but my work sadly doesn’t give me much hours at the moment, so I’m looking for a little extra work, and this seems like a great way to help my community as well! I’d say I am a pretty reliable person, I will most likely clean your house while house sitting if you are comfortable with it! and I will treat your animal like they are my own!

About: When I was a little kid, my dream job was to be a veterinarian, so you can imagine my excitement when I got into the vet tech program right out of high school. Despite that, I quickly fell flat on my face and decided I couldn’t emotionally handle it. I’m undecided about schooling now, but I’ve never lost the love I have for animals or the desire to work with them in one way or another, so I am currently working full-time at an animal hospital in the boarding & grooming wing (5 years), and I do pet-sitting in my free time! Due to my experiences, I’ve been around all kinds of dogs and cats with all sorts of personalities, behaviors, medications, and disabilities; so I like to believe I can work around just about anything for your pet! Was on hiatus from Rover as I was doing enough pet-sitting locally for people, but I wanted to expand my clientele. Please reach out if interested! I’ve taken breaks before to go walk dogs, so I try to be very open. “Gabby is the most kind, caring and responsible person to watch over your fur babies while you are gone. We have never had a dog sitter before because family were available, but not this time. I was very hesitant and anxious about having someone I do not know, come and stay in my house all night and take care of my precious doggies, for over twelve days ,but Gabby alleviated all of my fears with her continuous communication , photos, and answering my phone calls. My one older dog, Coco proved to be a challenge with her barking and not wanting to have a stranger in our house, but Gabby was able to work with Cocoa and slowly, but surely win her over 😀 Gabby also did so many extras that I never expected. She took our trash out. She made sure to check daily for our mail and the porch for any packages. She left the house spotless; vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning up after the dogs; even watering my flowers on the patio , feeding my fish and filling up the bird feeder with seed. I recommend Gabby with a five star review for anyone that wants to go on a vacation , out of town for business whatever they need to do whether it's for just a few days or several weeks, and know that their fur babies are in loving and responsible hands.Thank you, Gabby you are Extraordinary!”

About: I had a family beagle for 14 years that I helped care for. I have also dog sat for about 4 different people, I am the go to dog sitter in my family. I do not work because I am a full time student. I think this would be a great side hustle that is something I love doing. I would do drop in, overnight visits, and dog walks.
