I have plenty of experience with animals with different temperaments, sizes, and medical issues. I understand each animal has its own routine. I have had dogs and rodents my entire life, but have plenty of experience with other animals such as cats, chickens, pigs, goats, horses, and fish. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight stays in your home. I share updates and photos daily. My ultimate goal is to provide your pets with the best care possible and for you to feel comfortable and confident when you are away from them. I pet sit full time. “Rachel did a great job taking care of our dog, Sully! I get anxious about leaving him and this was the most relaxed I've been on a trip in a long time. She was timely and responsible, and really took in all of the Sully-information I gave her. (He has allergies and meds, so it was more info than your average dog.) She provided frequent updates and was able to get two rounds of exercise in, despite it being mid-July. Sully seemed really relaxed (and tuckered out!) when we returned and the house was in great shape. I would definitely hire Rachel again!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats in the house. I’m comfortable handling dogs the size of German Shepherds to Dachshunds. I feel comfortable with all pets and love them all dearly. My schedule is currently open and flexible! Please feel free to message me to coordinate a time to meet your pet before a service is needed. I will care for pets based upon their needs and their owner’s wishes. This can include letting them outside, going for walks, or playing inside.

As a college student, pet care fits really well into my daily and weekly routine. I’m always looking for fun and meaningful ways to make money, and spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy. Taking care of pets doesn’t feel like work to me—it’s something I look forward to. I’m used to building my schedule around classes and responsibilities, so I’m reliable with feeding times, walks, playtime, and any specific routines a pet needs. Helping care for animals is a great balance to school life and something I’m happy to make time for! When I’m caring for pets—whether in my home or at a client’s—I always focus on safety, comfort, and consistency. I make sure pets are in a secure environment, keep doors and gates closed, and follow any routines or rules you already have in place. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, signals, and comfort levels so they feel safe around me. I keep their routines familiar—walks, feeding times, play, and quiet time—and I always keep a close eye on them to make sure they’re happy and relaxed. My goal is to create a calm, trusting environment where your pet feels cared for, understood, and completely safe while you’re away.
