I've taken care of my family’s dog and others’ dogs since I was 10 years old. This includes a variety of fresh rescues to pure breds, smaller dogs to larger dogs, spending time with all kinds of breeds, and I absolutely love getting to know all of them. I adore all dogs, cats, and animals! I could walk, play, and spend time with them for ages. My experience with cat care, since being on Rover, has been lovely and I really enjoy getting to know all of their different personalities, I’ve been around sassy cats, cats who hide the whole time, super friendly cats, and I’ve cared for outdoor/strat cats. While I was a college student in Chicago, I had the amazing opportunity to work as a driver for Chicago Pet Transport, as well. Where I would safely and carefully drive dogs or cats to and from day care, vet appointments, grooming, or emergency visits. I absolutely loved it! Along with driving dogs, I would travel to dog parks at busy times to to watch them play and interact. I love to take dogs on walks because I love walking for my exercise and I love being with them to watch them interact with their environment and surroundings. I have experience with dogs who pull, who are stubborn, who are strong, who bark loud, who chew at their leash, who eat stuff (or poop) off the ground. And all of those things are what I’ve learned to help them with. I am interested in getting a training certification, as I have enjoyed getting to train dogs with positive rewards, love, and attention so far. I know how to keep dogs safe while walking, and I allow them to smell what they need to while also getting in the exercise. My love for animals is immense, and I will treat your dog with the same passion/care I have for mine. As for homes, I am blessed to have been raised well because I know to clean up after myself and leave any place better/cleaner than I found it! I am also naturally gifted with attention to detail, so I remember to lock any doors, turn the lights off, triple check duties and make sure I am communicating.

Kelsey took great care of our 2 boys and then were very happy staying in the house and having her there with them. She respected our property and cleaned up dishes, towels, and sheets before she left. The daily updates allowed us to feel comfortable that everything was going well and the boys were happy. Will definitely utilize Kelsey's services again!!
Kelsey was seriously amazing. From the first day we met her, we instantly felt comfortable with her and could tell she was genuinely such a caring person. You can just tell how much she loves animals, and after having her watch our dogs, I completely understand why all of her reviews are so good. We have two senior chihuahuas and they can definitely be a little difficult sometimes, especially our older girl Lola. She normally does not trust strangers at all and usually hides in her bed when someone new is around. Kelsey kept us updated with pictures and messages, and it honestly meant so much seeing Lola come out to the kitchen for dinner and actually seem comfortable around her. That’s something she rarely even does with some of our family members, so that really says everything. Kelsey also took great care of our house. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our dogs were with someone who genuinely cared about them and was patient with them. We feel really lucky that we found her and are definitely hoping to keep her as our long-term dog sitter. Could not recommend her enough 🤍
Kelsey has a sweet personality! She is excellent with communication and was available to walk Maya. She showed up on time, came excited and made me feel like Maya was important. I am so grateful to have found her and appreciate the way she helped while I worked remotely today! Maya will be tired and content! I highly recommend Kelsey!

Kelsey help put my mind at ease leaving my baby cat for four days. She sent cute photos and updates on how he was doing and it was so nice! This was our first time using Rover and we couldn’t be truly happier with the experience! Kelsey took exceptional care of our German Shepherd, Mia. She checked in everyday with photos and detailed updates — including how much Mia ate and drank, walked, potty updates, medication distribution and any concerns. Kelsey went above and beyond and it gave us complete peace of mind. We highly recommend her!

Schedule
I can fit pet care in whenever needed. I recently graduated from IIT in Chicago, and I am currently living back with my parents in MI. I don’t have plans for a full-time job quite yet, so I’ve actively continued being a pet-care provider since I absolutely love it as a job for now. I am availabile for drop ins, walks, and house sits usually any day and any time; I am quite flexible at this phase of my life.
