Each morning begins with an hour of playtime, either outdoors or indoors depending on the weather. From 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, they relax in their own separate, private room, providing a calm and secure space just for them. Midday includes supervised outdoor play and exercise, followed by a rest period from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM back in their private room. I monitor each dog throughout the day using an indoor camera to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. Outside of these hours, your pup will have plenty of opportunities for both indoor and outdoor play, engaging games, mentally stimulating activities, and special treats. I treat every dog like they’re part of my family. Visiting pups can roam freely, explore multiple toy bins, enjoy tasty treats (lamb, duck, chicken, turkey, or beef), lounge on the couch for snuggles, or watch a movie with me. Supervised outdoor fun is a big part of the day too—dogs can run in the backyard, play fetch with a ball, cool off in a splash pool, or chase water from a sprinkler. Every stay is packed with love, exercise, and adventures. To keep all current and future furry guests safe and healthy, proof of up-to-date vaccinations is required. “Samantha was great! I have 2 cats and neither are a huge fan of strangers. One needs meds twice a day and the other we recently adopted likes to hide. Samantha was able to make sure my cat who needs meds got her meds and she even was able to pet her and give her some attention, which is very hard to do! My other cat hid the entire time (to be expected) but Samantha kept me updated and made sure he was still eating and using the litter box. Overall a great experience and I would book again!”

About: I’ve done a lot of puppy raising and training. I have had 6 labs that I have raised and trained from 6 weeks old on. I also have experience with senior dogs, giving medication and helping them to get around and be comfortable. I would love to watch your new puppy while you are away for the day or longer. I can help with basic training socialization. I am occasionally subbing for special education at a school at the corner of my street. If I happen to get called into sub I am able to come home at lunch only leaving the dogs for a few hours at a time. I have a 5 year old yellow Labrador that is very friendly and gets along very well with other dogs. I have a spacious, fully fenced yard—and a built-in companion! Dogs I welcome into our home are treated like part of the family, just like our own beloved fur baby. I also have a crate available, which our dog uses freely whenever she wants a cozy spot to relax.

I don’t use crates unless the owner requests; and the babies sleep with me! For dogs that might be a bit nervous or crabby away from home, I use lavender and chamomile oils to sooth their nerves. About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life, as well as fish. I have most experience with large bully breeds. I had a black Labrador/Chow mix and English Mastiff growing up. I unfortunately recently lost my 13yr old American Bulldog in November of 2023, and 10 yr old Pitbull in May 2024 to cancer. We had both girls since they were pups so it was an huge devastation to our family. We currently have our 10 yr old Calico cat that was raised with them since a kitten. I have dog sat for friends and family as well in the past. I have experience giving oral medications and supplements if needed. I know how hard it is to work full-time and still have time to give the love and attention to your dogs that you want for them. I know many people have a hard time trusting doggy daycare with other strange dogs and the little one on one time they receive with handlers. I can give you the peace of mind knowing your pet is being well taken care of and receiving all the love and attention they deserve. I currently work part time from home. I am usually available Monday - Thursday after 2pm, and open availability on the weekends depending on my son’s sports schedule or vacations planned. Your pets will receive a lot of attention and love along with any necessary needs. I am in good physical condition and can lift or handle strong, heavy dogs as well.

They trusted me to stay with their pets overnight, drop in and visit them and let them out, and just play with them or walk them. Every person has trusted me multiple times, allowing me to help out again! I am at home working a waitressing job as well so my hours will fluctuate but they will always be available from 6-9 a.m. on the week days and all day Sunday Unfortunately I cannot house dogs because I am in my parents house but I am able to drive somewhere close to give your dog a walk.

About: I love all animals! If they could talk I’d be in heaven. All pets are family. I’ve always been very protective of animals. I’ve had dogs, cats, turtles, chicks any animal I can care for. When I was 15 I started a small “business” taking in stray cats and dogs cleaning them up, getting them shots, ridding fleas and finding them forever homes. I recently moved from Michigan so I’d buy supplies for heated cat/dog homes outside for the ones I couldn’t take yet when it was cold out and my house was full. About: I have three now grown boys. When my husband and I were married for 20 years, we decided every child should have a dog, so when our kids were 17, 14 and 11, we got an American Pit Bull Terrier, "Clarabelle". Our family loved that dog and worshipped the ground she walked on. We had her since was 6 weeks old. She lived a great life. Unfortunately, we had to put her down when she was 2 months short of 14 years old. We miss her so much, but one of our boys and his wife live out of state and we travel now, and can't have a dog full time, but I would love to care for your animals and give you the peace of mind that they are well taken care of. Since covid, I work remote in Macomb MI. I am a paralegal. I go into the office two days per week, usually Wednesday and Thursday. On those days I am available for walks/drop ins after 4 p.m. The rest of the time I am available full day. Each morning begins with an hour of playtime, either outdoors or indoors depending on the weather. From 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, they relax in their own separate, private room, providing a calm and secure space just for them. Midday includes supervised outdoor play and exercise, followed by a rest period from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM back in their private room. I monitor each dog throughout the day using an indoor camera to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. Outside of these hours, your pup will have plenty of opportunities for both indoor and outdoor play, engaging games, mentally stimulating activities, and special treats. I treat every dog like they’re part of my family. Visiting pups can roam freely, explore multiple toy bins, enjoy tasty treats (lamb, duck, chicken, turkey, or beef), lounge on the couch for snuggles, or watch a movie with me. Supervised outdoor fun is a big part of the day too—dogs can run in the backyard, play fetch with a ball, cool off in a splash pool, or chase water from a sprinkler. “Laura and Joe took care of our two older dogs for a week while we drove a couple of hours to have a vacation. We knew from our visit with them that Laura would be caring and attentive, but she really did go above and beyond! We received multiple updates and photos and videos daily. Even more impressive was how well Laura handled a behavioral problem that arose with one of our dogs. I had forgotten that he once had this problem with us -six years ago when we got him - and when it popped up again, Laura dealt with it so well! She even purchased something that we thought would help, after messaging with me about the issue. Laura’s care and confidence saved our vacation, when a less experienced sitter might have asked us to return and pick up our dog. The problem resolved and our dogs had a wonderful stay with Laura and Joe. We have always used a kennel in the past. It is a small one and the dogs are out playing much of the day. Last time, things did not go well there for our 13 year-old dog. We tried Rover to find someone who would provide both a safe setting and special care for our dogs. We got this with Laura, for sure!”
