About: We adopted a dog 9 years ago and she was one the best things that had ever happened to us, she was our fur baby and we took her to our trips (she was a frequent flyer). She recently crossed the rainbow bridge at 17 and even though we are not ready to adopt another dog, we would absolutely love to take care of your dog. Our daughter loves dogs and it would make her really happy to have a dog in our home at least for a few days. We would take care of your dog as it was our own, we've taken care of a friend's dog and we loved every minute of it. Having a 17 year old dog we have extensive experience with senior dogs and special needs (our dog had a spinal operation and lived three years after it). I work from home four days a week and have flexibility as to when I can go in. My wife and daughter are at school and work five days a week. We have a large fenced yard and do not currently have any pets. We live in a ranch so we only have one step and a door that shuts off access to the basement if you're worried about your pet using steps. We will treat your dog as if it's our own and it is allowed on the furniture if you're okay with it.

“Laura and Joe took care of our two older dogs for a week while we drove a couple of hours to have a vacation. We knew from our visit with them that Laura would be caring and attentive, but she really did go above and beyond! We received multiple updates and photos and videos daily. Even more impressive was how well Laura handled a behavioral problem that arose with one of our dogs. I had forgotten that he once had this problem with us -six years ago when we got him - and when it popped up again, Laura dealt with it so well! She even purchased something that we thought would help, after messaging with me about the issue. Laura’s care and confidence saved our vacation, when a less experienced sitter might have asked us to return and pick up our dog. The problem resolved and our dogs had a wonderful stay with Laura and Joe. We have always used a kennel in the past. It is a small one and the dogs are out playing much of the day. Sorry but my one dog is not cat friendly. Over night care in my home only. For animals with medical needs, I have worked in health care/radiology since 1990, and have also worked as an EMT. I am comfortable giving meds, even those that need to be injected. Friends and family have relied on me for their pet care, and you can too. I work Monday through Friday eight hour days. While at work I have cameras monitoring your pup(s) and I check on them often. Weekend is all about the animals. I have a large fully privacy fenced yard for your pups to run with my dogs. They will have lots of space to play in and sniff around.

“Samantha was great! I have 2 cats and neither are a huge fan of strangers. One needs meds twice a day and the other we recently adopted likes to hide. Samantha was able to make sure my cat who needs meds got her meds and she even was able to pet her and give her some attention, which is very hard to do! My other cat hid the entire time (to be expected) but Samantha kept me updated and made sure he was still eating and using the litter box. Overall a great experience and I would book again!”

About: I've had dogs since I was little, and I am a compassionate dog caretaker. I love all dogs, young and old, healthy and ill. I want to spend all of my time with dogs and make them feel loved and taken care of! I am available all day Monday and Tuesday. My job requires me to be on call Wednesday-Sunday in case I need to go to work last minute. I will be available during this time for a potty break. If I happen to get called into sub I am able to come home at lunch only leaving the dogs for a few hours at a time. About: I have had cats most of my life. I know all about personalities! I know that pets need loving, especially when you are away. I had a cat that stopped eating once when I was on vacation and that ended up with a trip to the ER Vet. Needless to say, I know how imporant a good pet sitter is to keep your pet from feeling lonely. They need cuddles and play time. Of course, that goes along with the daily tasks of feeding, emptying the litter, walks, etc. I am a retired teacher. After teaching, I was my husband's caregiver while he battled cancer. I lost him a few months ago and now find myself lonely and looking for something to do. Since I love cats, I figured taking care of other people's cats and dogs would be a great way to spend some time. I treat pets like members of the family (because that's what they are). They get everything they need from me. I will make them feel loved and cared for when you can't be there. I can also check the house while you are away to be sure there aren't problems. I can water plants, too. I don't want you to worry about anything while you are gone. Anything I can do to make leaving easier, I will do!
About: Dogs have been in my life since I was kid. My first dog, Bandit, was part-Akita and part- Dalmatian. Then I had Riley, a mixed mutt and rescue, for 14 years. I have dog sat for my neighbors as a kid, and recently dog sat for family and friends, including house sitting so the pups don't have to leave home. We knew from our visit with them that Laura would be caring and attentive, but she really did go above and beyond! We received multiple updates and photos and videos daily. Even more impressive was how well Laura handled a behavioral problem that arose with one of our dogs. I had forgotten that he once had this problem with us -six years ago when we got him - and when it popped up again, Laura dealt with it so well! She even purchased something that we thought would help, after messaging with me about the issue. Laura’s care and confidence saved our vacation, when a less experienced sitter might have asked us to return and pick up our dog. The problem resolved and our dogs had a wonderful stay with Laura and Joe. We have always used a kennel in the past. It is a small one and the dogs are out playing much of the day. Last time, things did not go well there for our 13 year-old dog. We tried Rover to find someone who would provide both a safe setting and special care for our dogs. We got this with Laura, for sure!”

About: I have cared for my grand dogs and friends’ dogs for years. Our whole family will shower your dog with love and attention! We love to send pictures of the dogs having fun or napping on the couch! I am a stay at home, home-schooling mom who has lots of time in our home to care for your dog. We are home most of the time available to give your dog all the attention they need. I have a fenced in yard. My kids love to make friends with dogs that we have watched. We have a large dog crate available if your dog is crate trained. We take their care very seriously and follow owners requests and directions.

When your dog stays with me, it’s more than boarding—it’s a personalized, safe, and loving experience while you’re away. ❤️ During weekdays (Monday–Friday), while I’m at the office, dogs enjoy a structured and comfortable routine. Each morning begins with an hour of playtime, either outdoors or indoors depending on the weather. From 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, they relax in their own separate, private room, providing a calm and secure space just for them. Midday includes supervised outdoor play and exercise, followed by a rest period from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM back in their private room. I monitor each dog throughout the day using an indoor camera to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. Outside of these hours, your pup will have plenty of opportunities for both indoor and outdoor play, engaging games, mentally stimulating activities, and special treats. I treat every dog like they’re part of my family. Visiting pups can roam freely, explore multiple toy bins, enjoy tasty treats (lamb, duck, chicken, turkey, or beef), lounge on the couch for snuggles, or watch a movie with me. Supervised outdoor fun is a big part of the day too—dogs can run in the backyard, play fetch with a ball, cool off in a splash pool, or chase water from a sprinkler. Every stay is packed with love, exercise, and adventures. Boarding & Daycare: To keep all current and future furry guests safe and healthy, proof of up-to-date vaccinations is required.
