“Alexandra is a very friendly and punctual. My dog loved having her watch him. He felt very at ease with her as we could tell by the picture she sent of him on his back and paws in the air asking for a belly rub. Will definitely ask Alexandra to watch him again.”

“I can’t say enough good things about our dog sitter! From the moment we met, I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog in her care. She was reliable, attentive, and kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dog came home happy, well cared for, and clearly loved while I was away. It’s such a relief knowing I have someone I can trust with my furry family member. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable dog sitter!”

“Christine has now watched our pups twice and we definitely trust her with our girls! She is great with them and knows exactly how to give them love and care when we have to go away!”

“We can't say enough about Melissa. We were leaving during snow and ice for a long time planned vacation. Melissa made it to our home, took care of our pets and even went above and beyond to make sure we didn't worry while on vacation. She sent videos and pics daily, stayed in touch with us and we appreciate how happy our pets were. Thank you thank you thank you!”

“Bonnie is by far the best sitter we have ever had! She was so great with our boys and took extremely good care of them while we were away. She took the time to make sure they were loved and pampered, brushed them for us and even gave them adorable bandanas. She left our home cleaner then we left it and also took care of plants/brought packages inside. I would highly recommend her!! Thank you Bonnie!”

About: I have worked in the veterinary medical field for 6+ years and have thousands of hours of experience as a veterinary assistant. I am comfortable with all types of dogs and cats, with all different personalities- that’s what makes them all unique and I love it! I am currently very flexible with my weekly routine and I am more than happy to meet with you beforehand if you feel more comfortable. As an avid cat owner, I have Toulouse naturally leash-trained. I have an enclosure for him so he can enjoy the outside, while also being safe. At clients’ homes, I follow all instructions to make sure the pet is safe. I also will make sure the pet is always in my sight if outside.
“Zoe stayed with my Dachshund for two days while I was on a work trip. She was excellent with Samson and completely attentive to our needs. She sent pictures and practiced excellent communication. “We’ve found Adam to house sit our two dogs. From the initial meet and greet to weekend long house sitting, Adam good good care of our senior dogs and left our place as it was. He listened to our requests and needs and made notes. He communicated with photos each day and it was so helpful to know the dogs were happy and well with him. I would use Adam again and would recommend him to anyone who’s looking for a reliable dog sitter .”

“Lindsay was PHENOMENAL!!! This was my first time leaving our dog alone with someone that was not family. She stayed in our home for 4 days and we got home and it's like nobody was here! Our dog was spoiled and we got many detailed updates. We will 1000% always use her! Thank you Lindsay!!!”

“I’ve had a couple of bad experiences with sitters from Rover in the past, so I was definitely nervous leaving my dog again. Olivia completely exceeded my expectations. She was very calm, patient, and immediately made my dog feel comfortable, which gave me so much peace of mind. She followed all of the directions I left, kept great communication, sent lots of pictures and my house was exactly the way I left it when I got home. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring!”

“Venus took great care and was attentive to my doggies. She walked them, took the garbage out and cleaned before I came home. I highly recommend Venus!!! I will contact her again to stay with 2 fellas.”

“Miguel is the ABSOLUTE BEST! He stayed with my 2 boxers both rescues and one still a little fearful of new people so Miguel came by for 2 visits before staying with them. Miguel gave them their medications and followed all instructions, communication was great and sent pics. Booking him for two more future trips! Thanks again Miguel! Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs my whole life. Currently have 4 dogs of my own. One of the 4 is a senior dog. I have done beginning training for puppies before they went to their forever homes. Also have experience with dogs that have health conditions and need daily medication. I currently am taking the summer off of work, so I will have all the time in the day to care for and play with your pets! I will regularly let your dog out. If needed, I have experience with e-collars and how to properly use them. I can also crate your dog.
“Chloe was a great relief and very flexible with some last minute unexpected health needs for my dog during our vacation. She kept me updated throughout our trip and gave excellent care to my fur babies while I was away.”

About: I've owned and cared for dogs since I was 10 and have always had one or two dogs living in my house. I've raised several dogs and cared for them from puppy stages to their senior years. I've owned and cared for many breeds from golden retrievers to pitties, Chihuahuas and shepherds. I have never met a dog that hasn't become my friend. I run my own business in the evenings during the week but am available before 4pm during the weekdays and can be available all day on weekends. Your house your rules, tell me exactly how you want your dog cared for and I'll have no problem providing that service. From walks to playing with them in a yard to cleaning up after them.

About: I bring a lot of energy, reliability, and genuine love for animals. Even though I don’t have a pet of my own, I’ve cared for many dogs and cats through friends and family and have lots of experience with walks and playtime. I’m a very active individual and is extremely diligent/consistent, so I’m especially great for dogs who need regular exercise, structure, and engagement. I typically go on 4 mile walks everyday and would love to have your pet join me. I just finished medical school and am in my in-between phase before residency, so I have a lot of free time and love using it to stay active. I already go on 2–3 walks a day (even in the cold Michigan weather!), so having a dog join me would be a perfect addition to my routine I truly believe dogs are like little kids they need attention, patience, and a safe environment. I’ve worked in childcare before, which helped me become very attentive and adaptable, even when pets can’t directly communicate what they need. I’m also very clean and respectful. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I will treat your space as if it were my own and make sure everything is left just as you found it. I recently completed medical school, so being responsible, trustworthy, and detail-oriented is very important to me.
“Incredible! Brandon stayed at our home for 3-weeks with our dog during an international trip. His compassionate care was a huge peace of mind. He managed medication and even young dog accidents! He sent many photos and videos, and even took her on extra walks! We couldn’t recommend Brandon more highly!”

Utica pet parents share their Rover experiences
Connie did a wonderful job pet sitting our dog, Bailey. She took great care of her, and everything was in perfect order when we returned. It gave us real peace of mind knowing Bailey was so well looked after. We wouldn’t hesitate to have Connie pet sit again and highly her.

Adam was everything we hoped he would be and his tag line of being a "Dog Au Pare" is very accurate. Adam bonded with our two dogs immediately and was communicative, but not overly so, while we traveled. Both our home and dogs were very well cared for while we were gone. This gave us great comfort and enhanced our trip. I highly recommend Adam.
