About: I’ve been around dogs and animals my entire life and have always loved caring for them. One of our family dogs had a litter of puppies, and because she became sick, we had to step in and essentially mother the puppies ourselves, providing around-the-clock care, feeding, and attention. It was a lot of responsibility, but also such a rewarding experience and taught me how important patience, consistency, and attentiveness are when caring for animals. I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I’m always happy to follow their normal routine and give them plenty of love and attention while you’re away. Since I’m currently working on my master’s degree, my schedule is pretty flexible and gives me plenty of time to care for your pets throughout the week. I also work at Painting with a Twist on weekends, but have flexibility there as well. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and make time for walks, playtime, check-ins, and plenty of attention and cuddles! 🐾 I want your pet to feel as comfortable with me as they do with you. I’ll follow their usual routine and any instructions you leave, whether that’s walks, meals, or playtime. I’ll give them plenty of attention while also respecting their personality and space, and I’m always happy to send pictures and updates so you know they’re doing well. 🐾

We and our pups loved Kara. Kara is very tentative to our pups needs. While on vacation and in Kara’s care, Sasha showed signs of ear discomfort. Kara took the initiative and found our dog ear wash and treated Sasha’s ear every day until we returned. Kara continued to send us pictures of our pups and communicate with us daily. It put our minds and hearts at ease knowing our pups were happy and content. We will be reaching back to Kara when we book another trip! 🐕🐕🩷
Can't say enough about DJ! He was left with a unexpected task following us leaving on vacation. The smoke alarms were beeping indicating a battery change. He changed 11 alarms on theee different levels of our house but with no change they continued to beep. He called at 10:30 that night to notify us our dogs were trembling still due to the loud noice. We asked if he was able to unplug them all and it fixed the problem!! He is an amazing caring and great young man. Left the house immaculate and the dogs loved him🩷🩷. I am so glad to have met him😀
Samantha took good care of 2 dogs and 3 cats for 6 days while I was away and helped water plants, bring in the mail, fed my diamond doves and parakeet, and took out the garbage. I had a cat who was getting adjusted after having a feeding tube removed and she worked carefully with feeding her watered down canned food. She communicated with me immediately when she vomited after one of her feedings.
