About: I always tell people that "Life is better with dogs" - and if you are reading my profile then you probably agree. I have had the privilege of having two dogs over the years and helping friends look after their own pets when they need an assist - being a pet owner can be a challenge! I advocate for lots of play time with dogs but also to give space and to respect the boundaries that have been established. Keeping your pet to their routine as much as possible is a priority, whether it is walk or feeding time. Notes about booking: - If you would like an extended walk or visit with your dog (beyond 30 minutes) then please let me know and we can either do a custom rate or book 2x back-to-back walks - Bookings that are further than two months out may be marked as tentative - but do reach out - I always do a meet and greet before taking on a new dog I have recently relocated from the UK back to Metro Detroit, my hometown. I am not currently looking to be a pawrent myself, so I am looking to have some local pets to bond with while also being helpful to their owners and making some income on the side. I am a freelancer in media/tech by trade, so my availability is flexible. My approach when caring for someone else's dog is to first meet the dog to make sure there is a bond. When it comes time for a walk or visit, it is important for me to know any basic rules or training requirements. While I don't train dogs as part of my service, I am happy to support any initiatives that you may have, whether it is to reduce the amount your dog pulls on the leash or taking that next step towards learning how to shake.

“Monica was fantastic!! She came over to keep our dog calm and happy. She certainly did that because the picture she took showed Oaklynn cuddled up and happy in Monica’s lap! We so appreciate her flexibility and kindness!!”

“Selena was communicative and sent several pictures of our pets while we were away. She was very sweet and took great care of our dogs, making sure they were happy and well-fed. We came home to clean and content pets, and it was clear that Selena went above and beyond to ensure they were comfortable. We highly recommend her services and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!”

“Kara house sat for us for 3 nights, and watched our two dogs. She did a wonderful job, came home to happy pups, clean house, and she has her own line of dog treats and accessories - my dogs were treated to all the treats, paw pads were conditioned with her line of balms, and the boys were very well loved.”

About: As far back as I can remember I have always had a fondness for dogs. This love and obsession has pushed me to pursue a career in the canine world, and now I currently manage a dog daycare/hotel franchise as my day job. But even when I’m not there, I am always with a dog. Whether it is my own, a friends, or a family member, I keep the best and the furriest of company! I am familiar with many types of breeds and personally prefer the big and fluffy, or even the more intimidating looking pups. But big or small I love them all and I believe earning a dogs trust is more valuable than gold! I do work full time during the week but I am available anytime after 2:00 Monday through Friday. I have open availability on the weekends If your dog has a set routine I can accommodate their needs however necessary. I also have my own pup that I can bring along to give yours a friend! (With permission)

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and many small house pets for many years! I have experience feeding, walking, cleaning, taking to the bathroom, medicating, and cleaning up messes or litter boxes. I’m a college student, with spring classes having just ended i have plenty of time to play with pets! I do work part time, but i am able to take work off whenever needed to ensure best care of your pet! I always carry a bag of treats with me! I have many of my own harnesses and leashes for medium-large dogs. My boys are played with everyday for many hours, making sure they sleep good at night!

About: I have been around dogs of all sizes since before I even knew how to say 'dog'. My first pupper companions were two massive Rottweilers named Sampson and Delilah, and they were not only my fierce protectors, but my first lessons in how to love an animal. Since-- I've been wiping eyeboogers, refreshing slobbery water in hot weather, giving hose baths outside, and most importantly playing fetch. We can cuddle or glare at each other from either side of the room, sing and bark along to our favorite songs, or just lay around. I've been in customer service for 7 years, and pets have always been my favorites to deal with. I learned how to love animals before I did humans, and that is what sets me apart from the rest. It is every single moment that I possibly have free. My animals are everything and I absolutely adore making new pet friends. I take our dog on daily walks, and make sure my fiancé and I's cats have an enriched life as indoor cats. We put our dog on a secure line that spans the length of our backyard, she has plenty of space to roam, see all the small creatures, and her father and I, as well. I also take my cats out in a designated feline 'tent', so that they can get outdoor time.

About: I have had pets since I was a baby. I love caring for animals and having them around. They bring true joy to my life . I have taken care of several different breeds of dogs and cats.I have had clients, that I cared for and also cared for their animals. I am accustomed to feeding, bathing, walking, cuddling, playing, and training dogs, cats, bunnies, and would consider exotic animals. I am truly a lover of all animals. They provide us with undconditional love and companionship. It is one of the best things life has to offer. I took in my amazing cat Ziggie who was a stray and drawn to me. He kept visiting us. He was truly a remarkable part of our family. We had him for 9 years and found out he had asthma, scar tissue on his lungs at the age of 5. The vet was unsure how long he would live for, but with treatments and lots of love he lived to be almost 14 years of age after fighting lymphoma. I learned to take care of a very special boy. He was so affectionate and came to me when I needed his companionship. I became use to giving him medications and having to monitor his condition daily with his cancer. It was tough but the first round of chemo, he kicked it. Then when it came back he got sick and deteriorated very quickly. It's very sad but I also remember the positivity and joy he left with me in my heart and memories. I've grown up with 3 different dogs and cared for them as a young girl, I developed such a wonderfdul bond with them. I care for my friend's puppy and train him when she needs a sitter. He stayed with us for 9 days when his owner went out of town. We trained him, fed, bathed, groomed, and walked this sweet little 4 month old Jack Russell. We just love him he is like a part of our family now and spends over night visitas with me. I have experience caring for birds, when I was a young girl I had 2 parakeets that I cared for. They were really great when they sat on my shoulder. It was quite amusing to me. Any opportunity to care for an animal warms my heart and creates a bond that is life long. I am thankful to have had so many wonderful opportunities to form such bonds. I am currrently working part time . I can arrange shifts around my schedule. This allows me more flexibility so I can work with animals. I have nice parks close to my home, that I can take pets to for their walks. I can do the same at your home. I can crate the pet when it is necessary.

15. Dominic P.
“My pets mean the world to me and are considered family members. I had the pleasure of meeting Dominic at my dog's daycare facility. It was the third daycare I had tried and I immediately knew it was the one for my boy, Jasper. The reason this daycare stood out was because of the caring and devoted staff members, especially Dominic. I don't travel much, particularly because I don't like to leave my pets, but if there was anyone I would trust to care for them, it would be Dominic. I didn't come to this conclusion by myself; my dog has shown me through his actions how much he adores Dominic. We all know that dogs, with their amazing senses, are able to detect the nature of their human companions, and my dogs has shown me that he trusts and adores Dominic. For the past few years, I have entrusted Dominic with the care of my best buddy and I always know that he is in good hands with Dom.”

18. MICHELLE B.
“Michelle has been so sweet, patient and playful with our energetic Jack Russell puppy! She supports our training program and gives him so much affection and attention. We know he is in good hands and always looks forward to his visits with mama Michelle! She keeps a very clean home, has a nice neighborhood for walks and lives near a park for longer hikes.
