During our meet and greet I will have you go over your routine with your pet and follow instructions completely and accurately. I want your pet to essentially feel like I’m rent-a-dog/cat/bunny/bird-mom!
Information Kara P. would like to know about your pet
I have a rescue and currently work with multiple rescues as well! I have experience caring for medical needs, especially insulin injections (my own dog gets them twice per day). I also am heavily trained on fear-based aggression towards other dogs. Please let me know any allergies, medications, and temperament and I will make sure your pup is set up for success!
A typical day
I love to go for nice long walks and let pups get in all the sniffies! Play time and enrichment are also crucial and are always integrated into a normal day.

I have had dogs in the home for 15 years of my life, I currently own my own pet treat business making natural pet treats, and I currently have my own dog. I am a certified pet food nutrition specialist, a fear free certified pet sitter, and I carry a pet sitter insurance policy.I have tremendous experience in caring for rescue animals, bully breeds, and anxious dogs. I work very closely with a CCDT and animal behaviorist to stay up to date on best practices. I am doing pet care full time so this is my entire life! 🥰 I am double certified in pet nutrition and am a fear free certified pet sitter, so I always have ample time to spend with your fur babies😍 I am strictly positive reinforcement only. I will not use aversive techniques nor punishment in caring for pets. I value animals with the same respect and love I would show a human. I always also ensure to keep pets to themselves (minimal visits with passing friends), in case they aren’t comfortable. I want your pet to trust me, so I will do everything in my power to convey to them that they have final say and my full attention

Kara did a great job at taking care of our cats! One of them is on the shyer side, but she still came out and allowed Kara to give her some love… which is a big deal!
Another fantastic stay! Never worry about what is going on at home when I’m gone. Kara takes great care of my 3 dogs, and makes sure my senior girl gets her meds.
