I have had dogs in the home for 15 years of my life, I currently own my own pet treat business making natural pet treats, and recently lost my own dog to cancer. I am a certified pet food nutrition specialist, a fear free certified pet sitter, and I carry a pet sitter insurance policy.I have tremendous experience in caring for rescue animals, bully breeds, and anxious dogs. I work very closely with a CCDT and animal behaviorist to stay up to date on best practices. I am doing pet care full time so this is my entire life! 🥰 I am double certified in pet nutrition and am a fear free certified pet sitter, so I always have ample time to spend with your fur babies😍 I am strictly positive reinforcement only. I will not use aversive techniques nor punishment in caring for pets. I value animals with the same respect and love I would show a human. I always also ensure to keep pets to themselves (minimal visits with passing friends), in case they aren’t comfortable. I want your pet to trust me, so I will do everything in my power to convey to them that they have final say and my full attention

During our meet and greet I will have you go over your routine with your pet and follow instructions completely and accurately. I want your pet to essentially feel like I’m rent-a-dog/cat/bunny/bird-mom!

We and our pups loved Kara. Kara is very tentative to our pups needs. While on vacation and in Kara’s care, Sasha showed signs of ear discomfort. Kara took the initiative and found our dog ear wash and treated Sasha’s ear every day until we returned. Kara continued to send us pictures of our pups and communicate with us daily. It put our minds and hearts at ease knowing our pups were happy and content. We will be reaching back to Kara when we book another trip! 🐕🐕🩷
Kara has done quite a few overnights and drop ins for my 3 dogs and always takes great care of them

Schedule
This is my full-time job, I work day and night, 7 days a week. Pet care is my whole life and I wouldn’t change a thing!

- I have a rescue and currently work with multiple rescues as well! I have experience caring for medical needs, especially insulin injections (my own dog gets them twice per day). I also am heavily trained on fear-based aggression towards other dogs. Please let me know any allergies, medications, and temperament and I will make sure your pup is set up for success!
