About: I don’t currently have a dog, but I had one when I was younger, and my best friend has a dog that I sometimes help take care of. I have house sat for people with dogs before as well. I work a very fluctuating schedule, but I typically don't work every day and have plenty of time to check up on your pet. If there is ever a day when I will not be available for eight hours or more, then I will give you my full honesty and try to come up with a plan to ensure your pet gets the care they deserve. If you can tell me how you care for your pets, then I will try my best to do the same. Just let me know exactly what you would like me to do for your pet.
“Karen is so wonderful with Bailey! She was very thorough during our meet-and-greet, and made note of everything. I would recommend Karen to any fur baby parents looking for reliable care when you are away.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. Personally I have always had a dog as a pet. I am always the person family or friends call when they need someone to watch their pets. I currently work a fully remote full time job. I am able to tend to your pet in the morning and evenings. Occasionally I am also able to take breaks at work where I could get a walk in. I am able to care for pets at your home or in my home for the day if your dog gets along with cats. They say dogs are the best judge of character and I've never met a dog that didn't like me!
“Kaela is as fantastic! Loved not having to stress about rushing home to a dog who was crossing her legs! She burnt up energy so i could come home and relax! Kaela played with her and she loved it.”

About: I have owned dogs and cats and love them like children. I love to play and cuddle with them. I am good at spoiling them and also make sure they get their routine checkups. Also have had their teeth cleaned and use flea prevention. I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats over the years on and off. I love to walk, the more the better. I also donate to rescue agencies to help them care for those in need. I am self employed so my hours vary and are fairly flexible. I don't ever work long hours so I am always available up to a few times a day or could possibly do overnight stays. I have 2 cats at home so it's best if I take care of yours in your home..It's still possible I could take them in mine if introduced and they get along. I follow directions well and give a lot of attention..
“This was my first experience with a Rover pet sitter. Angela impressed me immediately during our meet and greet when all 3 of my cats allowed her to pet and interact with them. She was so good with them, asked questions, followed my care directions perfectly. I received pictures every day. Angela clearly love animals! I highly recommend her and will absolutely use her again.”

“Alayna was amazing with our dogs while we were on vacation. She left us detailed notes and kept us informed along the way. She even helped out with the cats and brought our mail in ❤️ highly recommend her for your fur babies.”

“Gabriela is a great rover! She is always on time and updates her rover card. Bucky seems to love her, and I appreciate her consistency and flexibility with my schedule!”

“Lily has helped us out three times now and we can’t say enough good things! She’s great with both of our dogs, takes tons of pictures, and is always letting us know how things are going throughout our trip! Lily is AMAZING!”

About: I've taken care of small, medium, and large dogs, and cats for five years for friends, and family. I've walked, fed, and bathed their pets. I am currently taking online college courses and my hours are very flexible. I am available during week days and weekends. And for long trips. I prefer to go to my clients home for any pet care that's needed, I can watch more than one animal elderly dogs, and puppies.
“Marielle was fantastic with my pups. She was great with making sure to be there around the same times. The dogs warmed up to her very quickly. Lots of pictures and updates. Will 100% book her again!!”

About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely treat pets like family and provide the kind of care I’d want for my own pets. I’m very reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented, so pet parents can expect regular updates, photos, and peace of mind while they’re away. I’m also experienced with maintaining routines, following specific care instructions, and making pets feel comfortable in a calm environment. Whether a pet is energetic and playful or shy and needs patience, I adapt to their personality and needs to help them feel safe and cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work remotely and have a flexible schedule throughout the day. I’m home most of the time, which allows me to provide consistent attention, potty breaks, walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship without long gaps in care. I’m already used to managing routines and multitasking, so fitting pet visits, drop-ins, walks, or boarding into my week is very manageable for me. I also genuinely enjoy being around animals, so it feels less like “work” and more like something I enjoy incorporating into my day. I care for pets in my client’s home by keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I know pets are most comfortable in their own environment, so I focus on making them feel safe, cared for, and loved while their owners are away. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, walk routines, medication instructions, and any specific preferences or house rules provided by the owner. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and companionship based on their personality and energy level.

About: Ever since i got my dog 3 years ago i have started to take a liking to training and taking care of older and younger animals. I try to train dogs with what their owners want them to learn and with what i think will be best for them to succeed. I also try to give senior animals the time or their lives and for them to enjoy themselves I am currently a Lead summer camp teacher! I have been a teacher for the last couple of years. Utica dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jo is incredible, and I feel so lucky to have found her. She takes such thoughtful, loving care of Jake every single visit. She plays with him, gives him tons of affection, and always makes sure he gets outside time to explore. I love that she even updates me on the things he forages in the backyard — it shows how closely she pays attention to him. She keeps his water fresh, gives him his ice‑cube snacks, and sends the cutest photo updates. I feel at ease knowing he’s with her. Thank you, Jo!
