Information Samantha L. would like to know about your pet

To ensure the best care for your pet, I would appreciate if you could provide some important details. Does your pet have any special needs, behavioral concerns, or allergies that I should be aware of? Are there any specific behaviors, such as food, toy, water bowl, or crate, aggression, gender, related aggression, or dislikes (such as wearing hats), that I should keep in mind? In case your pet experiences any issues such as diarrhea or loss of appetite during their stay, do I have your permission to add something to their food to encourage eating? How often does your pet typically need to go outside to potty, and how often do they usually have bowel movements? How many meals do they usually have per day, and could you please beg each meal individually for convenience? Additionally, could you clarify their feeding schedule such as (add warm water and shredded chicken to AM meal only). Is excessive barking a common behavior for your pet? Also, are there any known lumps bumps or bruises that I should be aware of, and if so, please point them out to me. For health and safety, all pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including Bordetella, distemper, and rabies, and must be on heartworm prevention. I also recommend that your dog be vaccinated for the flu, if possible. Additionally, pets must be on flea and tick medication. If your pet requires any medication, please let me know what they’re taking, the condition it is for, and their medication schedule. If your pet has a condition that does not require medication, please inform me of that as well. Thank you.

A typical day

In my home, I prioritize supervise playtime to ensure the dogs are safe and engaged. I incorporate enrichment games that stimulate their minds and provide positive reinforcement, often rewarding good behavior with a spoonful of pumpkin or a slice of banana. My pets are also allowed to enjoy antlers, but I supervise them during this time, and they are stored away when I am not at home. Recently, we’ve been enjoying car rides to listen to Christmas music and admire the holiday lights. I do not allow my dogs to have table scraps, and I’m careful to avoid any treats with unknown or potentially unsafe ingredients.

Pet care experience

Woof woof! My name is Samantha, and I absolutely adore fur babies – they’re like my children. With years of experience caring for dogs of all kinds, I’m dedicated to providing your pup with a safe, fun, and loving environment while you're away. I’ve had dogs throughout my whole life and developed a deep passion for animal care from an early age. As a child, I volunteered at the Humane Society on the weekends, and during an alternative spring break in college, I spent a week volunteering at a pet sanctuary in Kentucky. I have over seven years of professional experience working with dogs in a boarding facility, where I specialize in caring for dogs that require medication, senior dogs, and those with special needs. I have experience with various breeds, sizes, and energy levels, and am skilled handling each one with care. Additionally, I am trained in reading canine body language and responding appropriately, as well as managing behavioral issues and safely intervening in dog conflicts. Above all, I treat each dog with the same love and attention I would give my own. I look forward to getting to know you and your furry companion(s).

Samantha was great, she kept us informed about our fur babies and took great care of them. It really put our minds at ease while we were traveling out of the country. All in all very dependable and would definitely book again!!!

Samantha was wonderfully patient and kind for my very old boy, especially considering I was reluctant to leave him behind. I loved hearing the updates and felt very comfortable he was getting such great love and care. I'd gladly leave him in Samantha's capable care again
