I have experience with dogs of all ages & sizes. Love them all!! Being a dog owner for 27 years, I know how our dogs & cats become a part of the family. My vow is to tend to your pet the same loving, caring way you would! I have cared for dogs in all stages of life, from puppies to seniors. I have trained my own dogs throughout my life. Teaching verbal & physical commands, learning boundaries, on & off leash walking, proper behavior expected, all with patience and repitition. I have also been a volunteer for Leader Dogs for the blind. That was a great experience which showed me how much I wanted to work with and be in the company of dogs. I have also been a cat sitter. I'm lucky enough to have friends & family with cats and have had the experience of doing drop-ins visits. Some I have known since they were kittens! Plus, thru Rover, I have met so many more amazing kittens & cats! I love getting to know their personalities!! I am available during the week & most weekends for drop-ins Please feel free to view my calendar for availability. I do update my calendar regularly. I offer drop-in services in Oakland Township, Northern Bloomfield Hills, Rochester Hills & Rochester, Auburn Hills, Southern Lake Orion, Shelby Township, Northern Troy. I will follow directions according to your wishes in caring for your pet. I am attentive, patient & full of love and affection for fur babies! I have been pet sitting & doing drop-ins for family and friends for many years, dogs & cats, before finding Rover. I genuinely love animals and being an older & experienced woman I have gained knowledge in caring for pets and being respectful of the owners wishes. Being with Rover has been an amazing blessing! Thank you to all of the pet parents that have entrusted me to care for their furbabies! 🐾💕 I have met so many wonderful dogs & cats along with their caring pet parents! Thanks to Cynthia for another happy and fun boarding visit for our Abby. We received such fun and interesting updates each day about all the excitement our girl had with Cynthia and always such incredible quality pictures Cynthia took of our girl while we were out of the State. We never felt anxious or worried about leaving that far away with Cynthia taking care of Abby for us. Honestly, we can't imagine anyone else taking care of her. Even though we moved over an hour away from Cynthia, we don't mind the drive to provide peace of mind for our travel needs. Thanks so much, Cynthia!!! You help make things so easy when traveling. I couldn’t be happier with Cynthia and the care she took watching my Shih Tzu Bodie. He is very attached to me and Cynthia took the time and patience to make him comfortable. It did not take him long to warm up and trust her. He loved her beautiful backyard and pictures she sent made me smile seeing him so happy. Will be using her again and again!

Bentley had not seen Cynthia for a little bit, but as soon as we pulled up her driveway he sat up and wagged his tail and pulled us to her door! He was so happy to see her he could barely contain himself. As usual, we do not have to worry about anything when Cynthia is watching him! She gives him his pill, makes sure he is hydrated and eats, and goes out frequently and gives him a ton of attention. The pictures are adorable that she sends every day. Bentley feels like that is his other home, he just loves Cynthia!! She is the best and Bentley thinks so too!!
Cynthia is the most caring, conscientious and yet very fun person for my energetic two year old dog! He loves his stays with her. He is so happy and excited when we turn onto her street, I know he's going to enjoy his time with her. Thank you, Cynthia, for the amazing TLC, adorable and frame-worthy pictures, and sending fun and thoughtful updates about the day each evening!! 💗🐾⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I offer boarding in my home 🌳🏡🐕 I specialize in boarding one dog or dog family at a time, up to 3 dogs. I have 10+years experience with 3 dogs of my own. Plus, thru Rover, I have had the opportunity to obtain multiple clients with 2 or more dogs, for which I've had the privilege to repeatedly board. Quality care! Privacy fenced, secure yard with plenty of room to run and play! Undivided attention. A literal home away from home environment! I strive to make your fur baby feel comfortable. Repeat clients & New clients* welcome. Please contact me for information 🐾❤️ * New clients : A meet & greet is required. I may ask for addition quality time to observe, interact & engage with your pets prior to hosting in my home. ~ Every dog is different. But I believe the same basic rule applies to all : Show love = receive love. 🐾❤️🐾 I am always happy to be of help and grateful to be in the company of beloved pets! 🐾❤️🐾
A typical day
During drop-ins I will follow the owners requests respectfully. I spend quality time with your furbaby, showering them with attention and affection! 🐾💕 I am able to offer drop-in services for recurring visits. Please check my calendar for availability.

- I would like you to tell me all about your dog/cat. Any insight is helpful in getting to know your pet. I see myself as a substitute for you, wanting to mimick your commands & continue your path of training as not to confuse your pet by incorporating my own. At our meet & greet I would greatly appreciate any information regarding your expectations and training aspects for your dog. If there are any behavioral issues that I should be aware of... example: "My dogs nemesis is the squirrel. He will react to them." Tell me what your preferences are and I will follow your directions. I want to be of help, for you and your beloved dog/cat. The fact that you have come to Rover already shows how much you care. ❤️ I hope to have an opportunity to meet you and your pet and be a part of your caring team!
