About: I first got into dog training in 2022 whole year, when I started raising and training a future guide dog. One of the things I’m most proud of was our leash work. We worked really well together and could walk calmly with a loose leash, Even when other dogs barked at her, she was able to stay calm and maintain the behavior expected of a guide dog. We also worked on focus and attention, handling and touching sensitive areas, and getting comfortable with different situations and environments. I was very lucky and proud that she eventually became a working guide dog.
