About: Hi! I’m 30 years old and I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I grew up in a house full of dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities—my mom always had rescues and mixed breeds, so I’m very comfortable with different temperaments and energy levels. Today, I have my own adopted 16 lb mixed-breed dog, and caring for him has only deepened my love and experience with dogs. I’m confident handling puppies and energetic dogs, and I truly enjoy walks, playtime, and giving them attention and care. For safety reasons, I prefer not to work with dogs that are overly aggressive or difficult to manage. My experience is focused entirely on dogs, so I’m not the best fit for cats or other types of pets. I’m available to foster small dogs in my apartment. I work from home and I’m able to walk him/her 3/4 times a day. I’m also available for drop-in visits between 6 AM–8 AM and anytime after 5 PM. I live in an apartment with a fenced area, which is great for safe outdoor time. I’m also happy to take your dog on walks outside around the neighborhood. I can feed, play with, and walk your dog, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away.

We won't board him cause he is a rescue from the shelter. I did 5 or 6 different meet & greets & this was the best fit. I was super nervous to leave him with complete strangers, but they were so sweet & chill during the initial meeting, it just all fell into place. 3 of the highlights for me was their fenced in yard, they worked from home & their dog was very good with ours. About: I’ve taken care of my neighbor’s cat every winter from December to March since he was young. About: I never owned a cat growing up, i always had dogs. but i moved into my own apartment and decided i wanted my own companion, i adopted two cats and it was the best experience of my life. they’re my bestfriends and i treat them as if they are my actual children. About: Hi pet parents, I would be happy to care for your dog while you are away. Since I moved to an apartment, it's been a while since being on Rover. For many years, I enjoyed having different dogs and their many personalities in my home. My home became there "home away from home" for my regulars. Pet parents became very comfortable, and trusted me, knowing I was a second mom to their babies. I am a mom to a very sweet springer spaniel. Her name is DeeDee. She is nine years old, shy and very mild mannered. The two of us are settled here, no one else in our place, and would enjoy having a dog companion occasionally. As DeeDee would tell you, I give lots of lovies, hugs and kisses. With all of my attention, your pup would feel safe and secure. Hesitant parents of senior or special needs' dogs can feel comfortable knowing I am experienced with their extra care needs. My knowledge and experience come from living and caring for dogs all of my life, as well as being a long time member of the English Springer Spaniel Club of Michigan. My springer friends are a wealth of knowledge from their decades of experience raising pups. I have learned obedience, socialization, grooming, show conformation, and health care, as well as true-to-life tips from these pros. I am home most of the time, and will limit my time away if I have your dog. I always prefer a meet and greet before your scheduled visit. At that time I will get to know your dog, ask you about their likes and needs, and determine if they are a good fit. I would be happy to give you references. The care and safety of your 'baby', is my priority. Thank you for your consideration. Margaret First thing in the morning is a walk, usually a couple blocks. Then breakfast. Then, usually, is a nap. Short breaks outside a time or two during the day. Walk again between 5-6. Dinner. Out again before bed, 11-1. This is DeeDee's schedule. Changes to accommodate your dog are easily added. Watch them carefully for signs of anxiety. Talk and touch them to assure them they are ok, and I am their friend. Make them comfortable with something that reminds them of home. Sit, talk, hold and pet to give them comfort and the feeling of safety. My apartment is small so I don't lose track of a curious visitor. Though I live in Pontiac, I'm in a safe complex on the very northeast tip. Auburn Hills is on the other side of Walton. That saying, I am very conscious of what is going on around us.

About: 🐾 My own dog, Donut, is an anxious and weird girl just entering her senior years, so I'm no stranger to the fact that all dogs are different, with their own unique idiosyncrasies and needs. I love them all anyway! I've also cared for several other dogs, including senior dogs and those with special medical needs. 🐈 My cats are 15 years old now, and take daily medication, and I've cared for several other cats, some with special needs. I know cats can be shy and skittish, so I'm happy to play the long game to get your buddy to trust me! 🦎🐹🐠 I have experience with fish, geckos, frogs, snakes, hamsters, and guinea pigs! Doesn't matter to me if it's scaly, slimy, or swimmy - it's a friend of mine :) I'm a part-time barista and ceramic artist, so my schedule can be quite flexible, and I enjoy having something to get me out and about, as otherwise I tend to be a homebody! I have my own pets, and I'll always treat your animals and your home the way I want mine treated. I'm respectful, but comfortable in new environments. “This was our 1st Rover experience & it was very positive. We've always relied on friends & family since we got him in 2021, but this time no one was available. We won't board him cause he is a rescue from the shelter. I did 5 or 6 different meet & greets & this was the best fit. I was super nervous to leave him with complete strangers, but they were so sweet & chill during the initial meeting, it just all fell into place. 3 of the highlights for me was their fenced in yard, they worked from home & their dog was very good with ours. Our dog is big, usually small dogs are intimidated by him. Not their doggy! He was so happy to have a buddy for the week. They sent pictures daily & allowed him to sleep wherever.
