Their home is set up specifically for dogs with no clutter, a separated feeding protocol, and lots of soft cushions and sofas for the dogs to lounge on. About: I have over 6 years of experience working in kennels caring for both dogs and cats of all ages. Along with several family friends and people in my community that I have sat for many many times. I have special training in providing medications in any form (Pills, ear/eye drops, topical medications, insulin injections, etc) and training/experience working with dogs of all temperaments (anxious, aggressive, energetic, reactive, etc.) I have a true passion and love for working with cat and dogs but am at not a point in my life where I can get on of my own, so I would love nothing more to spend some time with your fur baby! I am currently finishing up at school at Michigan State University but am commuting from my hometown for this semester. Fortunately I only have to be up in East Lansing for a couple of hours 2 days a week, and I am investing the rest of my time into my online classes. This has left my schedule pretty open for the upcoming months and I will be spending majority of my time with your pet during their stay! For those interested in boarding, I do live with my parents and a sibling, but they all love to have furry visitors and your pet is guaranteed to get an abundance of attention! When I care for someone else's pet I truly treat them as my own. I have great relationship with all of the clients I currently sit for and their pets. My main goal when sitting is to make sure that both the owner and the pet are entirely comfortable while they are in my care. To do this I try to create a very open line of communication and send frequent updates and pictures and make sure to ask questions rather than guessing how to care for someone else's pet.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life whether it’s my family dogs, volunteering at the pound, or watching friends dogs. My wife and I love dogs, but aren’t ready for our own yet. I am a corporate pilot with a lot of time at home, so I am trying to fill that time with something I love! I am a corporate pilot that averages 10 days worked per month, so I have 2/3s of the month at home. The days worked vary what days of the week, but I am looking to fill my time with something I love. I am very patient with animals. I don’t treat them like a pet. If Im watching them at my apartment, innovation hills park is next to me for walking. There is an enclosed dog park to let them run and even a dog bath station if they get dirty. If I am watching at your home I will be respectful to your home and rules that you provide. I’m an avid walker, so walks aren’t a problem. I would never take a dog on a walk in the summer without bringing water for them.

If we could give Mary 6 stars, we would! Our dog truly looked like she was living her best life at Mary’s house. She sent so many fun pictures and updates throughout the weekend, putting our mind at ease. She even took our girl on multiple walks to get her energy out and she came home soooo happy! So glad we found Mary, she is incredible!
Hongjun was incredibly friendly and made us feel at ease right away. She sent us lots of photos during our dog’s stay, which really reassured us. In the photos, our dog looked so relaxed and comfortable — it was clear that she was cared for like a family member. Our dog is quite picky and preparing her meals can be a bit of a hassle, but Hongjun handled everything so thoughtfully, which we truly appreciated. On top of that, her husband is a great animal photographer and even gifted us a wonderful photo of our dog! We would absolutely love to ask them again in the future. Highly recommended!
