Vinata listened to me patiently about Shambhu's needs and was empathetic about the situation. She took our pup, Shambhu under her care for 9 days. Before boarding him she took details about his condition and other necessary information in case of an emergency. Throughout our vacation, we got constant updates via photos, messages and videos. Shambhu was well taken care by Vinata and her lovely family. Vinata was understanding of Shambhu's needs and took care of him with utmost care and love. About: I have over 6 years of experience working in kennels caring for both dogs and cats of all ages. Along with several family friends and people in my community that I have sat for many many times. I have special training in providing medications in any form (Pills, ear/eye drops, topical medications, insulin injections, etc) and training/experience working with dogs of all temperaments (anxious, aggressive, energetic, reactive, etc.) I have a true passion and love for working with cat and dogs but am at not a point in my life where I can get on of my own, so I would love nothing more to spend some time with your fur baby! I am currently finishing up at school at Michigan State University but am commuting from my hometown for this semester. Fortunately I only have to be up in East Lansing for a couple of hours 2 days a week, and I am investing the rest of my time into my online classes. This has left my schedule pretty open for the upcoming months and I will be spending majority of my time with your pet during their stay! For those interested in boarding, I do live with my parents and a sibling, but they all love to have furry visitors and your pet is guaranteed to get an abundance of attention! When I care for someone else's pet I truly treat them as my own. I have great relationship with all of the clients I currently sit for and their pets. My main goal when sitting is to make sure that both the owner and the pet are entirely comfortable while they are in my care. I’m an avid walker, so walks aren’t a problem. I would never take a dog on a walk in the summer without bringing water for them.

After my regular job ends at 3:30 I will typically have availability after 4pm to around 10pm every day with few exceptions for personal appointments and family events. About: I've owned four dogs in the past 42 years and also cared for neighbors' and relatives' dogs. I miss our last dog so much, but are not ready to em"bark" on a new puppy journey just yet. I am retired and in great physical shape. You can rest assured your dog will be loved and given lots of attention! I normally go to the gym in the mornings, but it's an open schedule so can be home all day every weekday. If your pet is comfortable alone (if I must go out), there is a crate, blankets, a dog bed, toys etc. The home is two stories and a basement, but there are gates to block stairs if necessary. I live on a court in a quiet neighborhood. Although we do not have fences, your doggie would not be outside without a leash and would be accompanied by me on potty breaks.

When I care for someone else's pet I truly treat them as my own. I have great relationship with all of the clients I currently sit for and their pets. My main goal when sitting is to make sure that both the owner and the pet are entirely comfortable while they are in my care. To do this I try to create a very open line of communication and send frequent updates and pictures and make sure to ask questions rather than guessing how to care for someone else's pet.

About: I've care for my childhood dog since he was a puppy and all the way till his passing of old age. I have two sister's who all have doggies and they rely on me to care for them when needed. I know the importance of maintaining routine, identifying any triggers they might have, and being alert for any situation. I have a dog of my own, and through training him. i have learned a lot more then i knew before. But of course , you never truly stop learning. I'm excited to get to know each and every pet that i get the chance to meet. I work part time. I'm available 6 am to 10:30 am all days. Weekdays it varies. Some days I'm free until 4 pm. Other days I'm free 5pm till 10 pm. That is why i need a day in advance to know. I live alone with my dog, Zeus. he is super friendly with all dogs but i also have an extra bed room that is not used. whatever it is that you need me to do, i will do it.

I’m an avid walker, so walks aren’t a problem. I would never take a dog on a walk in the summer without bringing water for them.

“Vinata was a savior!!! Our 3 yr old Golden Retriever pup was recently diagnosed with anxiety induced auto immune disorder. We were in a bind since boarding at a doggy day care wasn't an option for him. We needed a home away from home while we went on a week long vacation. Vinata listened to me patiently about Shambhu's needs and was empathetic about the situation. She took our pup, Shambhu under her care for 9 days. Before boarding him she took details about his condition and other necessary information in case of an emergency. Throughout our vacation, we got constant updates via photos, messages and videos. Shambhu was well taken care by Vinata and her lovely family. Vinata was understanding of Shambhu's needs and took care of him with utmost care and love. I will definitely board him again with Vinata.”
