“I think Shivambika did a very good job with my 7 lb. Yorkshire Terrier. She learned about and respected some of his breed’s idiosyncrasies. She took him into her yard, on a leash, & to a nearby trail. No doubt he loved that. It was my fault that he had to be exposed to another dog for his last 3 days, as I initially got my return date wrong . But he dealt with that pretty well, it seems.”

“Tory did a fantastic job with our dog, Jameson! He is very friendly, but can be very needy as he had never used a leash or stairs before foster care and he has only been with us for a few weeks. We noticed a remarkably improved difference with his leash training and going down stairs, which we attribute to Tory and her patience. Tory was amazing through the entire process from start to finish and went above and beyond. On short notice during a holiday weekend, Tory promptly responded with an early drop off and very late pickup staying in contact and sharing pictures. We would highly recommend Tory and plan on scheduling more stays with her in the future.”

“Laura and Joe took care of our two older dogs for a week while we drove a couple of hours to have a vacation. We knew from our visit with them that Laura would be caring and attentive, but she really did go above and beyond! We received multiple updates and photos and videos daily. Even more impressive was how well Laura handled a behavioral problem that arose with one of our dogs. I had forgotten that he once had this problem with us -six years ago when we got him - and when it popped up again, Laura dealt with it so well! She even purchased something that we thought would help, after messaging with me about the issue. Laura’s care and confidence saved our vacation, when a less experienced sitter might have asked us to return and pick up our dog. The problem resolved and our dogs had a wonderful stay with Laura and Joe. We have always used a kennel in the past. It is a small one and the dogs are out playing much of the day. Last time, things did not go well there for our 13 year-old dog. We tried Rover to find someone who would provide both a safe setting and special care for our dogs. We got this with Laura, for sure!”

Her husband Kumar helps her out with the doggies and they treat your dog like their own. They are not only great dog sitters but also really nice persons. About: I’ve taken care of my neighbor’s cat every winter from December to March since he was young. I stay with him as long as I can every day — doing my homework with him in my lap, taking naps with him curled up by my feet, and eating dinner while watching him pace at my plate. About: I have both personal and professional experience taking care of animals. My experience has been primary with dogs and cats, however, I have looked out for turtles, fish and birds as well. I have a passion for learning and understanding animals. My experience also comes from volunteering with the Humane Society and a local shelter helping caring and socializing cats and dogs. If you have a high energy dog I would love to play with them, but also dogs that just like to chill and cuddle I enjoy as well. I can walk your dog on weekends and during the evening during the week, mid day as well. About: The number one thing in life that brings me joy is caring for animals. I currently work as a nurse and I’m working on completing my masters. Even more impressive was how well Laura handled a behavioral problem that arose with one of our dogs. I had forgotten that he once had this problem with us -six years ago when we got him - and when it popped up again, Laura dealt with it so well! She even purchased something that we thought would help, after messaging with me about the issue. Laura’s care and confidence saved our vacation, when a less experienced sitter might have asked us to return and pick up our dog. The problem resolved and our dogs had a wonderful stay with Laura and Joe. We have always used a kennel in the past. It is a small one and the dogs are out playing much of the day. Last time, things did not go well there for our 13 year-old dog. We tried Rover to find someone who would provide both a safe setting and special care for our dogs. We got this with Laura, for sure!”

We received so many photos and videos that it honestly felt like he was on his own little vacation 😄 Bhairoo is usually nervous around strangers, especially men, but he got comfortable so quickly and was happily following Jonathan around asking for pets and cuddles. “Abby had another amazing time with Cynthia, and even more than usual, now that Cynthia pulled out her kiddie pool for the summer months. Abby had an utter BLAST playing in that thing, and it made Abby's 3-day/night visit that much more fun. She got a workout running in and out of that thing and it really was stimulating for Abby as well.. It's such a comfort leaving our baby with Cynthia so we can do other things and travel. “Christina cared for our Winnie in her home while we were on vacation for 12 days. This was for the first time we had ever left her for that long. Christina did a great job with helping me feel comfortable leaving her in her care. She sent photos and messages almost daily, and I could see that she was having a good time.
