About: Hi! I’m 30 years old and I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I grew up in a house full of dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities—my mom always had rescues and mixed breeds, so I’m very comfortable with different temperaments and energy levels. Today, I have my own adopted 16 lb mixed-breed dog, and caring for him has only deepened my love and experience with dogs. I’m confident handling puppies and energetic dogs, and I truly enjoy walks, playtime, and giving them attention and care. For safety reasons, I prefer not to work with dogs that are overly aggressive or difficult to manage. My experience is focused entirely on dogs, so I’m not the best fit for cats or other types of pets. I’m available to foster small dogs in my apartment. I work from home and I’m able to walk him/her 3/4 times a day. I’m also available for drop-in visits between 6 AM–8 AM and anytime after 5 PM. I live in an apartment with a fenced area, which is great for safe outdoor time. I’m also happy to take your dog on walks outside around the neighborhood. I can feed, play with, and walk your dog, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away.

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Season! I am very particular about our two cats' care and get anxious when leaving them, but Season made me feel so much better while we were out of town. One of our cats is on multiple medications and she had no problem keeping track of his schedule or getting him to take his meds. While we were gone, I let Season know that I was a little concerned about one of our cat's hydration because they had just started a new antibiotic and she was knowledgeable enough to add extra water into his canned food and give him liquid-type treats to supplement his fluid for the day without me even asking! Our other cat is usually very timid and hides when strangers come into the house but Season was patient enough to get him out and about on her very first visit. She also went above and beyond in taking care of our home including bringing in our mail, washing a few dishes in the sink, and taking the trash out. It is such a relief to know that I have found someone in my area who I can trust and count on for all of our future cat care needs.”

About: Hi pet parents, I would be happy to care for your dog while you are away. Since I moved to an apartment, it's been a while since being on Rover. For many years, I enjoyed having different dogs and their many personalities in my home. My home became there "home away from home" for my regulars. Pet parents became very comfortable, and trusted me, knowing I was a second mom to their babies. I am a mom to a very sweet springer spaniel. Her name is DeeDee. She is nine years old, shy and very mild mannered. The two of us are settled here, no one else in our place, and would enjoy having a dog companion occasionally. As DeeDee would tell you, I give lots of lovies, hugs and kisses. With all of my attention, your pup would feel safe and secure. Hesitant parents of senior or special needs' dogs can feel comfortable knowing I am experienced with their extra care needs. My knowledge and experience come from living and caring for dogs all of my life, as well as being a long time member of the English Springer Spaniel Club of Michigan. My springer friends are a wealth of knowledge from their decades of experience raising pups. I have learned obedience, socialization, grooming, show conformation, and health care, as well as true-to-life tips from these pros. I am home most of the time, and will limit my time away if I have your dog. I always prefer a meet and greet before your scheduled visit. At that time I will get to know your dog, ask you about their likes and needs, and determine if they are a good fit. I would be happy to give you references. The care and safety of your 'baby', is my priority. Thank you for your consideration. Margaret First thing in the morning is a walk, usually a couple blocks. Then breakfast. Then, usually, is a nap. Short breaks outside a time or two during the day. Walk again between 5-6. Dinner. Out again before bed, 11-1. This is DeeDee's schedule. Changes to accommodate your dog are easily added. Watch them carefully for signs of anxiety. Talk and touch them to assure them they are ok, and I am their friend. Make them comfortable with something that reminds them of home. Sit, talk, hold and pet to give them comfort and the feeling of safety. My apartment is small so I don't lose track of a curious visitor. Though I live in Pontiac, I'm in a safe complex on the very northeast tip. Auburn Hills is on the other side of Walton. That saying, I am very conscious of what is going on around us.

About: *NOTICE* At this time, I work Thursdays through Sundays from 9 am to 4 pm. Currently better suited for cats or dogs who are used to their humans going to work during the day. Thank you! I've always loved animals, and have had dogs in the home since I was a very young child. I have experience raising puppies, caring for senior dogs, and caring for dogs with physical limitations. I have been house/pet sitting for years as well, and neighbors and friends have always trusted me to take excellent care of their dogs, cats, fish, etc. I can promise you I'll love your pet like they're my own! I will be more than happy to send cute photos of your pet to you as an update! I usually work from 11-5 on Sunday-Wednesday. I have some evening activities here and there, but other than this, I will be able to spend plenty of time with your pet! I understand, though, that this schedule may not be suitable for some. I will try to work with you if at all possible. I will be updating my calendar regularly to show any change in my schedule. I offer overnight house-sitting, walks, and drop-in visits. I am relatively flexible and can adapt to many types of situations and care routines. I can keep dogs crated if needed, or they can sleep on the bed with me! I've dealt with picky eaters before, and have picked up a few tricks! I'll make sure your pet takes any medications, and although I do not have experience with giving shots at this time, I am more than willing to learn. Depending on the dog, time between potty breaks will vary between 1 and 4 hours during the day when I am not at work. Please feel free to make any special requests and I will honor them to the best of my ability!
About: I have owned dogs and cats my whole life! I have worked at a dog kennel facility as well as watch friends, family, and neighbors dogs. I have a 6 year old german shepherd a 15 year old mini schnauzer, 2 cats and a hamster! I have worked with old dogs, puppies, reactive dogs, big, small and everything in between! About: I currently own an pit lab mix and her name is Stella and I have had her for a few years. She is the best especially around people and I love taking her to new places. I love being around dogs, any breed or size . I Love taking walks and enjoying the outdoors. I like to explore new areas and it’s always nice to have a friend while doing it. If you have a high energy dog I would love to play with them, but also dogs that just like to chill and cuddle I enjoy as well. I can walk your dog on weekends and during the evening during the week, mid day as well. I would love to become a dog walker or sitter to get to know more about other breeds and to get to know my area I do have another full time job, but I am willing to accommodate to your pets needs. We can discuss this further when booking. I am able to have decently flexible schedule. I will listen to the needs of the client. I will make sure that their pet is well loved and cared for while I am watching them.

About: Hi Rover friends! My name is Kate and I am an undergrad student at UofM! There’s never been a time in my life where I didn’t have a dog! I’ve had 2 labs, a Whoodle (similar to a doodle), and a Havanese! Most of my friends and family members also have dogs, so I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, or breeds. One of my dogs growing up also had a lot of dietary restrictions and required medications in her food so I have a lot of experience handling that! I’ve dog-sat my own dog for my parents over the years as well as neighbors and other family members dogs! I love going on walks and would be happy to take your furry friend along with me! Or, I can play with them and give your dog some pets while you’re away! I am a full-time student with quite a few breaks during my days, which is perfect for drop-in visits to feed, let out, walk, or play with your pet! My weekends are usually pretty available as well, as most of my time is spent studying! I cannot care for pets in my own home but at a clients home I would be sure to keep the pets routine as normal as possible. My dog back with my parents has quite a few quirks so I’m familiar with having a pet sleep with you, putting their food somewhere special, putting their bed somewhere, etc. At the end of the day, my priority is making sure your dog is safe and feels as comfortable and happy as possible!
About: I have been around pets since I was little, cats, dogs, and fish! They have shaped me into who I am I will make sure to treat your pets like mine! I currently have two pets, 2 cats (Izumi, Amara) and live with my sister and her dog, a chihuahua mix. I would love to do a meet and greet with you to establish trust that your pets will be safe and sound while you are away :) For overnight visits you will get a detailed nightly update just to comfort you while you're away from your fur babies. I am currently working minimal hours at a pet store and focusing on going back to school, so my schedule is very flexible, so I can devote as much time as your pet needs. To establish trust I want to do a meet and greet with you before you head out (unless its last minute for a walk). Anytime you want, you can request pictures or an update on how your pupper or kitty is doing. I will still send you a detailed nightly update at the end of the day so you know how your pet is doing.

“My boy Chauncey stayed with Dan and Clare for three nights four days. I was sent multiple forgraphs to show how he was faring including him eating and sleeping. I had a GPS collar on him which showed the amount of play time and rest time he was given. (A LOT)!! Their yard is huge and fenced. Unfortunately my dog has learning to jump over cyclone fencing the week before staying with Dan and Clare; therefore, I put his GPS collar on him. They watched my sweet naughty (sporting dog - very concentrated on looking for creatures and can lose his mind by only having those thoughts in his head ;-) ) and I could tell much attention was given to watching out for him and guaranteeing he was safe. Their three dogs - after they bark upon your arrival - are very sweet and very accepting of newcomers. I would use them again in a heart beat. I travel on the road with my dog and also spend time in Texas so it will be hit and miss when the need arrives. However, should you want a safe, clean, dog "resort" for your pup go here. Lots of new smells, critters to chase and great hosts for your four legged family member, Thank you Dan and Clare!”
