“Making the choice to book Vinata, and her family to care for my Cavapoo, Kali, while I was away for a week allowed me to feel at complete peace, and enjoy myself while on vacation, knowing that my baby was being cared for, loved, and "puppy stimulated." Kali, my puppy, just turned one-year-old this year, and I was very anxious, and nervous about taking a trip, and leaving her with a stranger, because I have spent almost every day with her since she became a part of my family. Being a virtual teacher allowed me the chance to get a puppy, which wouldn't have been a possibility if I had to drive into school; however, I had spent every day with her, and even though she is crate-trained, she does have some attachment issues, and is anxious when she is not right next to me. While I was looking for a care-giver for Kali, I mentioned it during a session with my Chiropractor, and she said, "YOU MUST USE VINATA!" and told me some stories about when she's used Vinata, and her family in the past. She was so excited, and genuine as she spoke, and I know how much she loves, and protects her dog (who is also a Cavapoo), and also, she wouldn't let me leave her office until she wrote out Vinata's contact information on a sticky-note for me. Kali had THE BEST TIME! Vinata, her family and I were on a group text, set up by Vinata, so there were three caretakers keeping me posted, sending pictures, videos, and updates throughout the days I was gone, unsolicited. I LOVED THIS! It melted my heart, and kept me peaceful so that I didn't have to worry, and really have time to let go while on vacation. I only texted back when I was moved to, but Vinata said that I need not respond, unless I wanted to. She was always on the other end if I needed her. I also got a video of Kali and her daughter after she returned from school. Kali LOVES kiddos, but I live alone, so I really felt tickled when I saw this, and Kali also had a chance to play with a brother/sister pair of dogs she was also caring for. Kali is a single "child" who hasn't really had the chance to do this; what a bonus! I found my person. The one who can care for my baby while I'm away, which allows me to be able to open up possibilities for travel, work, or just a "puppy-sitter" for a day. I love having Vinata, and her family there for me when I need. I couldn't have been given a greater gift!”

About: Hi! I’m 30 years old and I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I grew up in a house full of dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities—my mom always had rescues and mixed breeds, so I’m very comfortable with different temperaments and energy levels. Today, I have my own adopted 16 lb mixed-breed dog, and caring for him has only deepened my love and experience with dogs. I’m confident handling puppies and energetic dogs, and I truly enjoy walks, playtime, and giving them attention and care. For safety reasons, I prefer not to work with dogs that are overly aggressive or difficult to manage. My experience is focused entirely on dogs, so I’m not the best fit for cats or other types of pets. I’m available to foster small dogs in my apartment. I work from home and I’m able to walk him/her 3/4 times a day. I’m also available for drop-in visits between 6 AM–8 AM and anytime after 5 PM. I live in an apartment with a fenced area, which is great for safe outdoor time. I’m also happy to take your dog on walks outside around the neighborhood. Our rambunctious and mischievous dog Geordi was well cared-for and it seems like he really enjoyed his stay with Cara and Samuel.
