We really appreciated the regular updates and photos she sent. They gave us so much peace of mind and made us smile while we were away. About: Hello! My name is Aiden. I'm a 20-year-old college student who has been pet-sitting since I was in high school. I have taken care of puppies and geriatric dogs and all ages in-between! I completed the Agriscience and Environmental Technologies course at Oakland Schools Technical Campus Northwest. The Animal Science track of the course taught me how to care of, groom, and manage the behavior of pets. I have taken care of a dog of my own since I was eight-years-old. His name is Bolt, and although he's gotten older and slowed down a bit since he was a puppy, he still has the most energy out of any 12-year-old dog I've ever seen! I'm currently on summer break from Michigan State University where I will be entering my final year as a Graphic Design Major in the fall. I have an internship with the USPBL on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but I still am free after 4:00 on those days, and on any other day of the week (besides Saturday 3:00-5:30 for mass)! I am a very attentive caretaker and always make sure that pets are properly fed, played with, walked, and given any medication needed. I also always make sure to clean up any messes I or the pet create, and let you know if I noticed anything off about the pet's movement or behavior. Unfortunately I cannot have pets in my house due to my dog who is used to being an only child.
“Olivia is a very sweet person I was lucky enough to have take care of my precious cat Luna. She made sure she was well aware of her needs and went beyond her responsibilities by trying to just be a friend to Luna while I was away. I would recommend Olivia to anyone. 10 out of 10”

“Cat whisperer! My cat billy doesnt accept most people and im so happy to see he was open to her cuddles and would purr?. Bettina was amazing at communicating and sending the best photos and videos. I have anxiety leaving my quarantine kitty but for the first time I actually felt calm knowing he was in the best hands. Im so grateful for her kindness and care towards my cat.”

“Stephanie did a great job watching our GSP. Pictures were sent every day and it was clear to see he was getting attention and great play time. There was no issues with the holiday making the trip away more relaxed. She was flexible and communicated well as she did what was needed with her schedule keeping our pups needs in mind. Would recommend her and will be rebooking for our next trip.”

About: Specialize in small dog boarding, and drop in visits for dogs of all sizes! Currently I have a loving 7lbs bichon mix. Previously I have had 1 australian shepard and 3 cats. I have worked with animal shelters-mainly dog and also cat rescue. I can also help with basic obedience training and leash walking. Would love to help take care of your fur baby! Work part time/remotely. I have a fenced in patio area for bathroom relief and take dogs on walks in nearby parks to explore new places. My Bichon mix doesn’t respond to any harsh tones. Therefore happy voices, positive reinforcement, patience and love was what got us on the same page. Would love to care for other animals the same way.
“Wonderful first experience with Abbey! Great communication and my little Stella is usually so shy and barky to new people, but she warmed up instantly to Abbey on our initial meet and greet. I will definitely be booking again, thank you :)”

About: I've walked dogs in the metro Detroit area for around 5 years. I love active dogs, but I don't mind to slow the pace if your dog isn't as energetic. I'm available all day for walks and visits. For boarding and sitting, I am typically available if given a week of prior notice. I love to make sure your companion feels loved and cared for, even when you are away. Dogs love routine and I will adapt to yours! I have experience with all ages, from puppy to senior, and I can administer medications as well. I have plenty of experience with cats and other pets, including the very shy. I live pretty close to the 696 and 75 junction, so getting to and from my house is usually easy. Fortunately, I am currently available for walks, visits, and boarding full time as your schedule needs. I have my own dog and two cats that require my care daily. My yard is fully privacy fenced with a large deck. I have a few small gates I can set up in the house for introducing animals slowly or separating everyone for downtime and breaks. I have a few harnesses/collars, leashes, and a caution symbol to use on walks unless you prefer your current gear. I own a large crate for my 80lb lab that can be used as needed.

Troy pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kira was absolutely wonderful watching Gemma over the weekend! Gem can be fairly shy and can be a bit persnickety with new people, but Kira completely won her over. Honestly, the best proof would be Gemma actually greeting her upon her arrival. If you know Gem, that right there is the ultimate positive review! Gemma was genuinely intrigued and clearly felt comfortable. On top of making friends with my GemGem, Kira took great care of all the basics—keeping her perfectly fed and watered—and even got in some fun playtime; I got lots of pictures! Gemma was so well cared for, and it gave me such peace of mind. I definitely recommend Kira!

Rachel provided excellent care for my elderly mom's aging dog. She went above and beyond to make her comfortable. Rachel's effective communication allowed my mom to enjoy her trip, knowing her dog was in good hands. She is very trustworthy and caring; we highly recommend her!
