Outdoorsy Dog Lover!
Hi! My name is Kira. Growing up with three dogs sparked my lifelong passion for animals. I have hands on experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medications and injections. I previously worked at a dog daycare, where I cared for dogs of all sizes—from under 5 lbs to over 150 lbs—and gained experience with bathing and nail trimming. In addition to dogs, I also have experience caring for cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, and small reptiles. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, administering medication, or just providing companionship, I always aim to give pets the love and attention they deserve.

I can provide long or short walks, or hikes, whatever your pet prefers! I have a pup of my own so currently I do not care for your pets in my home or stay overnight at clients homes, but can provide care morning-evening for house sitting requests.

Kira is a very friendly and confident person who was wonderful with my 2 dogs. I have a senior dog and an energetic dog -she was great with both. Kira was comfortable with giving them their medications and she walked them every day. She sent lots of great pics. We felt very confident leaving our dogs in her care. She also took out our garbage cans without us having to ask her to and brought in our mail!
Kira did 2 drop in visits with our Maltese mix including feeding and play. All seemed to go smoothly and Finnegan did well and was resting comfortably when we returned.
Kira is a repeat sitter of ours! She loves our sweet orange boy! She even cleaned up our kitchen when ants invaded our cats food! We love Kira 💙

Kira was absolutely wonderful watching Gemma over the weekend! Gem can be fairly shy and can be a bit persnickety with new people, but Kira completely won her over. Honestly, the best proof would be Gemma actually greeting her upon her arrival. If you know Gem, that right there is the ultimate positive review! Gemma was genuinely intrigued and clearly felt comfortable. On top of making friends with my GemGem, Kira took great care of all the basics—keeping her perfectly fed and watered—and even got in some fun playtime; I got lots of pictures! Gemma was so well cared for, and it gave me such peace of mind. I definitely recommend Kira!
