We've been rescuing dogs for almost 40 years, the last 20 with adult and senior dogs in our dog-friendly and dog-safe home. Been doing this for everything from Labs and Shepherds down to toys giving them the comfort they deserve for their remaining years. As boarders now, we usually have multiple dogs all the time which works out well. So, it is essential that we cannot accept any un-spayed females in or close to estrus. Nor can we accept any dogs that do not get along with other pups. We know that last minute requests are common so we try to accommodate as much as possible as long as your pup gets along with other pups. Both retired so plenty of time for your pups. Proceeds shared with the Shelter we support and where we got our guys. Plenty of experience training puppies on desirable walking behaviors. For longer stays - 7 days plus, we provide complimentary evening before drop-offs and/or day-after morning pickup to be discussed. We insist, whenever possible, to do a meet and greet to ensure compatibility with other guests We have a large enclosed deck and dog run with fencing. All get at least 3 walks a day, We need to charge $5 more per day for Holidays since having 5+ pups normal and the $5 pays for an assistant I have to hire - if less than five pups, the surcharge will be returned

Very calm and caring with Pluto, fed him and did everything I asked for accordingly. Definitely recommended letting your pup stay with him to babysit.

Thank you irv for looking after Enzo, appreciate the excellent communication and conversations we had. Irv insisted on a meet and greet to make sure our dog would get on with others, described in detail how our dog would be fed and walked. He also sent us videos and pictures during his stay. Irv is very knowledgeable and experienced and I would recommend him to others.
Irv is a fantastic sitter! He had no issues with taking care of our two dogs, one of whom is a senior dog with some anxiety issues. She did so well with him that we’re definitely coming back! Our younger pup also had a great time and got lots of playtime and cuddles. Irv gave plenty of walks and sent us photos and videos throughout the day to update us. We had special food instructions and that wasn’t a problem. Thank you so much!

Schedule
full time retiree with my wife - one almost always home - - plenty of time to play and exercise with your dog as needed. We try to accommodate last-minute requests - even same day - because this happens often. We only increase the Holiday rate to pay for my assistant since not unusual to have 5+ pups during peak days

walked at least 3 times a day - large yard with long ropes used as leashes if needed - first walk before breakfast, second midday, third after dinner
A typical day
lots of exercise activities in the yard - on or off leash as necessary - usually have multiple pups so they play well. The enclosed deck provides a lot of play opportunities
