“Laura took such great care of our dog, Telly, while we were on vacation. She sent lots of updates with photos and Telly always looked comfortable and happy like she was on her own vacation. Laura carefully read our instructions for care and feeding at drop-off and made sure she understood Telly’s needs before we left. She even cooked Telly more chicken to top her dog food with once the chicken we provided ran out. You can tell Laura truly loves dogs and I had no worries about leaving our pup with her for the week. I would definitely hire Laura again and highly recommend her to anyone else looking for a dog sitter!”

“Lindsay is an awesome sitter and gave my very shy dog everything he needed to be comfortable at her place during his stay. She provided daily updates with videos and photos on how Butters was doing—it was so nice to see him get more and more comfortable and confident around her starting from the end of the first day. I will definitely book with her again!”

“Monica took great care of our "quirky" girl, little Millie. We are very glad it worked out, we will definitely be booking in the future! Thanks Monica for the patient care you gave her.”

“Monica is absolutely awesome! She is so kind and sent lots of funny updates when I was out of town to keep me in the loop. My dog was all smiles when I picked him up. He slept for like 2 days straight after getting home so they must have stayed busy & had lots of fun lol. Looking forward to boarding with her again in the future. Thanks again!”

“Janelle boarded my senior dog for a week and everything went perfect. She is professional, communicative, and has a cozy/clean home that my dog felt so comfortable in. I will book Janelle again and recommend her to anyone!”

“Mou & Yanling were amazing with our seven-year-old doggy; she is a well-behaved dog but can be reactive with other dogs. They were very patient and loving, and when I picked her up, I could see how happy her stay was. They sent me videos and pictures daily, and my dog looked so happy. They also stitched and fixed a sweater she wore, which was so sweet and kind. Our doggy's stay was four days. I will book them again for my doggy's next boarding if available, and I highly recommend them. Thank you, Mou & Yanling, for being so caring and loving with Sparrow :)”

“Steven has cared for my dog twice now and my dog has come back home well cared for and happy. Steven is accommodating and communicates well. Due to delays in our trip he kept our dog for longer and helped us. Thanks”

“Hali was amazing with my dog! I felt very comfortable leaving him in great hands, and Hali was sure to provide lots of updates and pictures. My dog made fast friends with her pups and came home absolutely exhausted so I know he got in lots of playtime and will be excited to go back!”

“Kshama was professional and responsive when I contacted her during Lucky’s stay at her home with her husband and their dog Zeus. I received videos and pictures to remind me how happy lucky was. I had to extend Lucky’s stay so I rebooked again with her for a longer stay. When I went to drop more food for lucky, he was happy. I’ll use her again when I need to.”

“Amanda is the absolute best!!! We were gone overseas for two weeks. Got detailed updates and photos daily to keep minds at ease. Daisy 🌼 has so much fun and is well cared for. Cannot recommend enough! We love Amanda!!”

“Danielle and Steve (and Porthos) have become my dachshund Maverick’s best friends. They are excellent pet caregivers and they are accommodating and flexible in their availability. I highly recommend them.”

“Ora is a good sitter. She sent frequent pictures of Loki and updates about him everyday. I will definitely consider her again for next time if she is available. Thank you Ora!”

“Amy is great! She took very good care of Simba and kept us informed with pictures and videos during his stay. Simba enjoyed his time playing with Woody and we will definitely be a returning client!”

About: I have cared for my grand dogs and friends’ dogs for years. Our whole family will shower your dog with love and attention! We love to send pictures of the dogs having fun or napping on the couch! I am a stay at home, home-schooling mom who has lots of time in our home to care for your dog. We are home most of the time available to give your dog all the attention they need. I have a fenced in yard. My kids love to make friends with dogs that we have watched. We have a large dog crate available if your dog is crate trained. We take their care very seriously and follow owners requests and directions.
About: Lifelong dog owner and dedicated dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments — from gentle seniors and energetic puppies to reactive or anxious dogs who need extra patience and understanding. My background includes dog walking, pet sitting, fostering, and hands-on ownership, giving me the experience to provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care tailored to each dog’s needs. My goal is simple: to make sure your dog is happy, exercised, and well cared for every time! I’m currently employed full time, but am fairly flexible weekdays after noon and weekends. I would love to fit some walks/visits into my weekly routine, but will also be on the lookout for walks to break up my workday! We do have a fenced in yard, and the most friendly GSP who loves to play zoomies when we have dog visitors. In your home, I will give your dog lots of love and pets, but also follow any guidelines you set. It is important that dogs know what is expected of them across the board!
About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and currently own a dog myself, so I understand how much trust goes into leaving your pet in someone else’s care. I treat every pet as a member of the family and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and preferences. I’ve personally trained puppies and enjoy helping reinforce good habits, routines, and basic manners through consistency and positive interactions. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply having someone nearby for companionship, I adapt my care to meet their individual needs. I offer boarding, drop-in visits, and walks with a focus on safety, reliability, and communication. You’ll receive updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is being cared for and having a great time. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for each week. My schedule allows me to be available most weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends. This gives me the flexibility to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and boarding while providing reliable, attentive care. I understand the importance of consistency for pets and strive to maintain their normal routines as closely as possible. As a pet owner myself, I know that every dog has unique needs and routines. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or visiting them in theirs, I focus on making the experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible. For boarding, pets become part of my daily routine and receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout their stay. For drop-in visits, I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and any special care requests. During walks, I focus on safe, enjoyable exercise tailored to each dog’s energy level and personality. I also provide regular photo and message updates because I know how reassuring it is to see that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

Sterling Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Dawn had been amazing with our pet Remy. Not only she took care of him but also enlightened us with best practices. She made sure Remy had enough play time along with comfort. Her pups and dogs at home also helped in a way. Remy had a gala time playing with them. She is a great sitter.
Kyle was very professional and communicative before and during our dog’s first stay. We felt like we were leaving her in very capable hands. She seemed to have a great time going for walks and playing with him in his fenced backyard. She came home happy and calm, which is the best sign of a great stay. We will use him again and then highly recommend him to others.

Lindsay was our first experience with Rover and she exceeded our expectations. She was wonderful from the start. She answered and explained all of our questions throughly. We loved the daily updates of pics and also text of how he was doing. We absolutely will be sharing her as a recommendation with others as well as planning to book her this summer again too!

We had a great experience with Giselle. Our dog, Oden was well taken care of. She followed our instructions as to how to properly care for him. Giselle even took the time to let Oden explore her home before introducing her 2 dogs. She took the time to play tug with Oden because she knows that is his favorite activity. Giselle sent plenty of photos and videos to reassure us that he was engaged, safe and having a pleasant experience. We really appreciate the time and effort Giselle put into watching our fur baby, Oden. Lastly, we love her fair, competitive pricing and we will book again. Thanks again.

This was our first time using Rover for our two golden retrievers while we were out of town for 9 days. Usually they come with us or we have family watch them, but since that wasn’t an option this time we were looking for a family who would treat them as their own. Ashley and the entire family took great care of them and sent regular updates and pictures so we knew they were doing just fine and getting lots of snuggles and attention. We were able to enjoy our vacation and not worry the entire time about how they were doing.

I am so glad that I found Brigid and her family to watch my dog while I was gone. This was the first time I’d used rover and I was a little nervous, but once I met Brigid and her family I was instantly put at ease with leaving my dog with them for a week. Brigid kept me updated throughout the week on how my dog was doing and I could tell he was having a great time. Brigid took care of my dog as one of my own, and to have the peace of mind that he was being taken good care of made the world of difference. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Lonnie and his family took great care of our Irish Doodle Brooklyn. She gets very anxious being away from us, but we could tell she was comfortable and happy in their care. We appreciated the daily pictures of her while we were gone! They communicated with us regularly which was also helpful in feeling at ease. We will continue to use their services! So glad we found them!
