About: I've had pets my entire life. It has been quite some time since I have owned a dog. I had the best dog of my life and since she passed away I don't think I can endure that loss again. However, I still crave interactions with man's best friend. I very recently lost my 19 year old kitty which has been difficult but I still have a 12yr old rescued cat with bad behaviors lol. I am experienced with providing oral medications and injections. I owned a diabetic cat that unfortunately died from cancer. I also have fish and cardene shrimp. I have cared for reptiles, birds, rats, mice, and other small furry friends. I am an RN but need to spend more time with critters to make my life more balanced and enjoyable. Sure, overtime as an RN pays better, but time spent with animals brings me joy. I have experience training both cats and dogs. I am a remote worker and therefore have a great deal of flexibility. Let me know your needs. I will do my best to accommodate your pet's needs. I keep my cat in the bedroom due to bad behaviors and extreme anxiety making it easy to care for another animal in our home if needed. I do not have a fenced yard but I live in a beautiful subdivision for long walks. I prefer to watch pets in their home to reduce anxiety but if your pet is very social and you prefer they stay in our home, our home is very pet friendly. Our whole family has cats and dogs and they always come to visit and get spoiled. Animals are allowed on furniture and run of our large home.

About: Hi pet parents, I would be happy to care for your dog while you are away. Since I moved to an apartment, it's been a while since being on Rover. For many years, I enjoyed having different dogs and their many personalities in my home. My home became there "home away from home" for my regulars. She is nine years old, shy and very mild mannered. The two of us are settled here, no one else in our place, and would enjoy having a dog companion occasionally. Hesitant parents of senior or special needs' dogs can feel comfortable knowing I am experienced with their extra care needs. My springer friends are a wealth of knowledge from their decades of experience raising pups. Watch them carefully for signs of anxiety. Talk and touch them to assure them they are ok, and I am their friend. Make them comfortable with something that reminds them of home. Sit, talk, hold and pet to give them comfort and the feeling of safety. My apartment is small so I don't lose track of a curious visitor. Though I live in Pontiac, I'm in a safe complex on the very northeast tip. Auburn Hills is on the other side of Walton. That saying, I am very conscious of what is going on around us.

I mentioned to Samantha that I would like to someday take Drake for a walk on a trail or to a park. She told me about a trail she knew & asked if she could take Drake there for his walk today and I said that would be awesome. After their time walking on the trail, Samantha sent me photos of the walk and let me know that Drake had a great time exploring new things and that he was a good boy. Over the last 6 months, Drake has been in training to develop skills to help cope with his anxiety & fear. Thank you so much Samantha for the patience and love you showed Drake today!! About: I am 33, and I have had a wide range of pets my entire life including dogs, horses, and rodents! I currently chicken-sit, dog visit, bird watch, and occasionally have cats grace me with their presence. My dog is 2.5 years old and generally goes with me to tend to the animals, but I can leave her at home if that is a deal breaker! I live my life so Lady can have a very full one. We go on walks, hikes, or runs every day in any type of weather (Thanks to Michigan). My schedule is all over the place but it allows for me to be flexible. Let me know if I can help! About: I have always known the love of having a pet. Whether that was hamsters, reptiles, cats, dogs, and even hermit crabs. I have found love for each individual species, including snakes! I have been training my previous dog since I was 15 and was able to teach her to sit, shake, and release. I currently have a senior cat who is prone to seizures and is partially blind and deaf. About: I have taken care of lots of pets growing up. My parents dog is in her senior years so getting a lot of practice with that as well. I love animals but my apartment doesn’t allow me to have a pet, I miss having one around. I work a hybrid position so my schedule can be more flexible on some days! I am also open most nights after the work day and on weekends! I live in an apartment so my home is not the best for a pet at the moment, but I am very respectful in someone else’s space and prefer a clean environment so I will always pick up after myself & your pet.
About: I have been taking care of dogs all my life. I grew up with two and currently have a Husky and Terrier. On the days I am in the office (Typically M-W) I will only be available for drop ins/walks after 2:30 pm and early mornings. I do ask that if you need me M-W that times are flexible, I cannot always do hard set times. When I am WFH, I am available all day. Friends and family over the years have relied on me to watch over their fur babies, stop in and check on them for a simple belly scratch and potty break, all the way to staying the night to give them piece of mind while they're gone. I currently work full time. M-W I am able to stop into clients homes after I get off work, after 3. Thursday and Friday I work from home so besides meetings, I am able to drop in at any time of the day. Saturdays and Sundays I am pretty flexible as well :) Each client is different but I will learn what is best for their pet when I meet them. I won't crate their pet unless asked. Going outside with pets when they're out doing their business, and keeping them on a leash to keep them safe is my standard for caring for anyones pet. The parents know best and I'd follow their rules.
