“Melissa was great, She arrived on time or early. She fed the cats according to my schedule. She updated me with photos. She even put my dishes up and took my trash out to the curb.”

“Gracie was absolutely amazing with our two pups! We were given updates and pictures all throughout the day and never had to worry about a thing when we were out of town. We have used this service a lot and haven’t had anyone that can hold a candle to how great Gracie was! Will definitely be calling her again in the future!”

“10 stars for Riley! She took such good care of all of our pets, I can't thank her enough. It made our trip so much more pleasant knowing that everything was running smoothly at home. She is by far the best sitter we have had and most important our pets love her too.”

“Kateri (Rebekah) was amazing! We will definitely have her back! She took excellent care of our goldendoodle, sent pictures/updates every day, and went above and beyond to take care of our house while we were gone. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!”

“Jillian was great! She was attentive and communicative while caring for two high maintenance animals with many medical needs. The animals weren’t always the easiest clients, but she always my maintained my full confidence with high quality photos, tender care, and thorough updates. I couldn’t recommend Jillian enough!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our three boxers received! It was clear Hannah had a genuine love for dogs and plenty of experience handling larger breeds. Our pups can be a handful, but she managed them with patience, confidence, and lots of affection. We received regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave us peace of mind and let us see how much fun they were having. It was obvious our dogs felt safe, happy, and loved the entire time we were away. Coming home to three relaxed and well-cared-for dogs was the best feeling. We highly recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and caring sitter. We’ll definitely be booking again!”

About: Hi! I’m Claire and I love taking care of animals!! I have had dogs my entire life, as well as one cat. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages and sizes, including feeding and walks. I am comfortable with giving medications and maintaining training routines as well. I will take care of every pet as if they are my own! I’m currently in school/internship part-time. I am available 4-5 days a week, with internship the other 2-3 days of the week. I am flexible with scheduling, as my school schedule changes each week. I have one dog and one cat that get along with other animals. I have a crate, toys, bowls, and leashes as well. My backyard is perfect for running around.

About: I have the patience to work with most breeds but the larger ones are my favorite. I’ve had or lived with pets my entire life and will care for yours like it’s my own. Walks, feedings, even baths if they’re up for it! I’m no dog specialist, just someone who genuinely enjoys they’re company. If your dog needs any accommodations (extra loving!) I’ll do my best to meet your expectation. I understand trusting a stranger with your pet can be unnerving but I promise to provide the best service I can. Your dog won’t even know you’re gone! But hey no pressure, choose what’s best for you and your pet. Whether that’s me or someone else, if you’re happy I’m happy. But hopefully you choose me! I’m moving back to Michigan this summer and will not start my full-time position until August. So I have a pretty flexible schedule until then and I would love to fill my time loving on some fluffy babies! I will care for your pet in your home and do all that you have instructed. I know it could be a little stressful to leave your dog and they may worry, but I’ll do my best to make sure they feel comfortable and at ease.
“Kayla was amazing! She took such good care of our fur babies, giving regular updates and sending lots of pictures. Plus, she followed our instructions to the letter. And best of all, our cats both loved her, too.”

“Heather came through for us super last minute when our original dog sitting plans fell through, and we were incredibly grateful! She gave tons of updates and we could tell our pup was very happy with her :)”

“We accidentally sent Dee to the wrong house at first! But she was understanding and adapted. In the end was super communicative, sent tons of pics and videos, and we are already booked with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Lizzi was great! She was very responsive and our dog was very happ. We received daily pictures which was a nice plus. I will happily and confidently book her again the next time the need arises.”

About: I have been walking dogs since age 10. I have always walked dogs around my neighborhood. I have grown up with many dogs, so I understand how much your dog means to you and your family. I I will make sure your dog gets as much exercise and fresh air as possible. If your dog requires particular attention, I will do everything possible to make your dog feel as comfortable with me as they are with you! I'm a college student, so from early may-august, I'm available all day to care for your dog or dogs. I love long walks, so walking for extended periods would not be a problem. I'm also very caring, so I will like to get to know your dog and spend time with them.
About: My family and I raised a pug named Poppy for 13 years and later another named Daisy. Poppy passed away last year after living a full and loving life under our care. I still miss her every day! Dogs seem to be drawn to me everywhere I go. And I’m always happy to play with them any opportunity I get! Don’t be surprised if you fur baby begs you to come back after our time together. Background in semi professional baseball and financial wealth management I work typically 9-6 on weekdays with some flexibility. Occasionally later depending on client meetings. Weekends I’m normally free, especially during the winter. I do play in multiple sports leagues, but those are usually on weeknights. I have a fenced in yard with a dog lead and is located within a subdivision away from a busy street. I also have a big open basement with padded floors for your pet to run around and play in. My house is very clean and even has brand new carpets. I allow pets on furniture, I just typically wipe off their paws after we return from walks or playing in the yard. My cat is friendly, but I also have a guest room upstairs she can stay in when company is over. No small objects or choking hazards around and very few breakable items for them to worry about running into.
Bloomfield pet parents share their Rover experiences
Audrey is the Mary Poppins of pet sitting! She is a kind, compassionate lover of all animals, and we knew our pets would be in great care while away. We had quite the tall order- last minute request, a newly adopted, rambunctious tween cat, and very shy/timid older cat…as well as guinea pig on top. She was responsive, organized & thorough, and completely spoiled the pets throughout the stay. Our house was even cleaner and tidier than before we left! She really goes above and beyond, and we look forward to booking again in the future. :)

overall great experience for both of our pups - we traveled overseas and alex housesat with our large pup and frenchie and when we returned, the house was in order and the pups appeared well taken care of! will certainly love to use alex’s services again in the future :))

I cannot recommend Leti highly enough! She stayed overnight in my home to care for my baby (Lab/Husky mis), who unfortunately had an injury. Leti went above and beyond in every way. The level of compassion, patience, and attentiveness she showed truly gave me peace of mind while I was away. She followed every care instruction perfectly, kept me updated with photos and messages, and made sure my baby was comfortable and happy the entire time. Beyond caring for my guy, she was incredibly respectful of my home, leaving everything spotless and tidy—it's like she was never there, except for the big smiles on my pet's face! It's rare to find someone you can trust so completely with both your fur baby and your home. I’m so grateful to have found Leti and will absolutely be booking her again. She is a true gem on Rover! 🐾❤️

We couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care our dog Gracie received from our dog sitter, Kerrie! From the moment they met, it was clear that Gracie felt safe and loved — and that gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Kerrie went above and beyond, keeping us updated with photos and little notes about Gracie’s day, which we truly appreciated. Kerrie also took great care of our home. We will definitely hire her again!

Eric is very easy going and did a great job with my senior dog- and my low maintenance dog. I felt completely at ease while traveling. He communicates well and the pictures he sent were the exact same ones I take every day, so I know the dogs felt as comfortable with him too. I will definitely use him again.
