“Gracie was absolutely amazing with our two pups! We were given updates and pictures all throughout the day and never had to worry about a thing when we were out of town. We have used this service a lot and haven’t had anyone that can hold a candle to how great Gracie was! Will definitely be calling her again in the future!”

“Lizzi was great! She was very responsive and our dog was very happ. We received daily pictures which was a nice plus. I will happily and confidently book her again the next time the need arises.”

“Brooke watched my dog for a week when I was out of the country. My shih tzu is a senior dog- half blind, half deaf, and needs medicine for her heart at the same time every 12 hrs. Brooke eased my mind by going above and beyond to take care of my baby. She followed my care plan I left, was responsible, timely, and caring. This was my first time using Rover and I highly recommend her! Thank you!!”

“Jillian clearly cares deeply for our dogs as we do, always calling them babies, communication was great as well with lots of updates and her own version of a report card. We had one small misunderstanding of an instruction but she was very responsive and respectful and adjusted quickly. Our ivdd dog can be a handful and she was certainly up to the task!”

“Lauren was great! We got daily updates and she took great care of our anxious boy. When we got home you couldn’t even tell someone stayed at our house. We will definitely be using her again.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our three boxers received! It was clear Hannah had a genuine love for dogs and plenty of experience handling larger breeds. Our pups can be a handful, but she managed them with patience, confidence, and lots of affection. We received regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave us peace of mind and let us see how much fun they were having. It was obvious our dogs felt safe, happy, and loved the entire time we were away. Coming home to three relaxed and well-cared-for dogs was the best feeling. We highly recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and caring sitter. We’ll definitely be booking again!”

About: My family and I raised a pug named Poppy for 13 years and later another named Daisy. Poppy passed away last year after living a full and loving life under our care. I still miss her every day! Dogs seem to be drawn to me everywhere I go. And I’m always happy to play with them any opportunity I get! Don’t be surprised if you fur baby begs you to come back after our time together. Background in semi professional baseball and financial wealth management I work typically 9-6 on weekdays with some flexibility. Occasionally later depending on client meetings. Weekends I’m normally free, especially during the winter. I do play in multiple sports leagues, but those are usually on weeknights. I have a fenced in yard with a dog lead and is located within a subdivision away from a busy street. I also have a big open basement with padded floors for your pet to run around and play in. My house is very clean and even has brand new carpets. I allow pets on furniture, I just typically wipe off their paws after we return from walks or playing in the yard. My cat is friendly, but I also have a guest room upstairs she can stay in when company is over. No small objects or choking hazards around and very few breakable items for them to worry about running into.
“Emily was wonderful! We have an older, anxious dog, and she was so great with him, giving him extra love and care, and lots of activities for him. She truly went above and beyond!”

“Amanda stayed at our house for 10 days, watching our special needs geriatric Maltese and provided excellent care. Amanda administered our dog’s medication 4x per day and cleaned up numerous accidents due to our dog’s anxiety. Our dog wears a belly band, so she also had to bathe him frequently. She followed my multiple pages of instructions and provided daily updates. Amanda also left the house spotless. We really appreciate all of her hard work and dedication to our dog. We would definitely have her care for him again!”

“Mary Kay is our go to person! I hardly trust anyone with my dog and I am never worried when I know Mary Kay will be there. She goes above and beyond, is responsive with messages and pictures. Truly the best dog sitter!!”

“We accidentally sent Dee to the wrong house at first! But she was understanding and adapted. In the end was super communicative, sent tons of pics and videos, and we are already booked with her again. Highly recommend!”

“When Brianna took care of my precious senior blind Pit Bull for a few days, I was able to relax and enjoy my time. She is worth every penny. She even left my house cleaner than what I had left it.”

“Amanda did a great job taking care of our pups. She asked a lot of detailed questions to better understand their routines and sent frequent updates. Even though her stay was cut short due to illness on our end, we came home to happy and healthy pups. Would definitely book with her again!”

Lathrup Village pet parents share their Rover experiences
Diane was a fantastic sitter! She was amazing and easy to work with throughout the process. She stayed in my home while I traveled and my deeply anxious rescue dog and my cats never missed me. Diane kept me informed while I was away, followed all my instructions, and my pets were safe and happy in my absence. I look forward to hiring her again. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her or rebook her. She’s truly a thoughtful and special person who will care for your pets so you can relax while you’re away.

We had such a great experience with Nathalie! She took amazing care of our dogs — made sure they got plenty of walks, playtime, and love. One of our pups is diabetic, and she handled the insulin shots perfectly with care and confidence. The house was spotless when we got home, and we really appreciated the photo updates and messages throughout our trip. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such good hands. Highly recommend!

We couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care our dog Gracie received from our dog sitter, Kerrie! From the moment they met, it was clear that Gracie felt safe and loved — and that gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Kerrie went above and beyond, keeping us updated with photos and little notes about Gracie’s day, which we truly appreciated. Kerrie also took great care of our home. We will definitely hire her again!

Eric is very easy going and did a great job with my senior dog- and my low maintenance dog. I felt completely at ease while traveling. He communicates well and the pictures he sent were the exact same ones I take every day, so I know the dogs felt as comfortable with him too. I will definitely use him again.
Alex was incredibly kind and patient with us as we were nervous to leave our pups for the first time. She came to do a meet & greet and we knew right away she was a good fit. She is empathetic and kind with their needs, and was excellent about administering meds to our senior dog. We will definitely re-book!

Zach and Alex are amazing and it's such a relief to be able to travel knowing our cats are in great hands! They're caring and communicative and go above and beyond. Two of our cats require medication and special care and they made sure all their needs were addressed.
