About: I have taken care of many different cats and dogs since I was around 10. Many of my neighbors ask me to watch and walk their pets while they are on vacation. I have taken care of my family dog for the past 10 years. I work overnights Thursday through Monday so I am available during the day until 5pm. On weekends I’m usually available 11-8pm. I love to take a break from my regular job to spend time with animals. I will make sure to follow any instructions you leave for the safety of your pet. I always listen to a dog or cat’s body language to endure I am meeting their needs.

I have 24 years of experience with small and medium sized dogs. Care for dogs is my only profession, allowing me to give your dog my full attention. My home is safe, welcoming, and open, and my friendly dog loves having dog visitors to play with. Your dog will be free to roam my home- welcome on the furniture- and have plenty of space to run in my large fenced in yard. Additionally, I am located near the heart of Dowtown Royal Oak for dogs who are excited by people and other dogs, as well as several parks with open spaces within walking distance. I currently have a three dog limit for boarding and pet sitting. I’m home full time, so I’m able to provide dogs care with my full attention. Whether morning, afternoon, or night I’m available round the clock to fit you and your pets schedule and needs! I’m happy to provide care in your home or mine! My home is safe, welcoming, and pet friendly- with large areas to roam or smaller gated spaces ideal for dogs who prefer time alone, are shy, or being newly socialized. I have a large fenced in yard dogs both small and big can enjoy and many local parks within walking distance! Further, my dog Bernie is an excellent playmate for all dogs I care for.

Emily has been great with our Lucy! You can tell she has a lot of experience and is a pet lover. Our Lucy who can be timid and high anxiety really took to Emily and even sat on her lap! Emily’s communication prior was great and she kept us informed on the visit including photos. We would highly recommend her especially if your pet has special needs.
