“Hali was amazing with my dog! I felt very comfortable leaving him in great hands, and Hali was sure to provide lots of updates and pictures. My dog made fast friends with her pups and came home absolutely exhausted so I know he got in lots of playtime and will be excited to go back!”

“So kind to my senior pooch. Was always taking photo updates. She spoiled her rotten. I still thinks she wants to go back to Kelly asap for her cuddles and yummy home made food, my girl gets anxious while we're away. She had multiple dogs over and she did great. ? recommend.”

“I had a great experience with Cody and would absolutely book with him again. Throughout my dog’s 6-night stay, I received updates and photos on days 1, 3, and 5, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dog can be pretty anxious, especially in new environments, but Cody handled him with patience and care. When I picked him up, I could clearly tell he had grown comfortable and even formed a bond with Cody, which says a lot. He was nervous at drop-off, but it was reassuring to see how much more relaxed and at ease he was by the end of his stay. Cody created a safe, welcoming environment and was easy to communicate with throughout the process. I really appreciated the attention given to my dog’s needs and overall well-being. Thank you again for taking good care of him—I’d definitely trust Cody with my pup in the future.”
About: I have taken care of my dog since I was 10. Whenever I visit friends and family, I always show the dogs all the love, because they deserve it 🥰. I can handle anything from big dogs as well as the little ones with small dog syndrome! Im currently in medical school so I can spend plenty of time and walk between study session. My family is also often home to provide extra love and care for your pet! I always respect and follow any directions from the dogs’s owner. The well-being of all animals, including dogs of course, is very important to me.
“last minute booking but felt super comfortable as mowgli had an amazing experience the last time with angelina and her family! i was so grateful for the picture updates and consistent communication.”

“Mariana was great. Our dog Shama looked happy and relaxed in all the photos that were sent to us multiple times daily. Mariana was responsive, flexible and easy to work with. I recommend Mariana and we would love to leave our dog with her again in the future.”
“Camille was great! She gave me regular updates and shared lots of pictures of Millie having a great time. When I picked her up Millie was happy and clearly had a great time getting lots of love and attention.”

“Teddy had such a great time with Tara, her family, and her pups! He made friends and had a blast with them. She sent me pictures and a video while we were away which we appreciated so much. Tara is so amazing with animals and I would totally have her watch Teddy again! Thank you so much Tara.”

“I felt like they took care of Carter like he was their own pet. They sent periodic photos on how he was doing. Those were much appreciated. I will definitely use book with them again.”
“I am very thankful for Tanuja for taking my Lucy on a last minute request to board. She was so flexible and very accomodating and it was a very pleasant dealing with her. On the day of boarding she will give constant updates, she will send plenty of pictures (great pics of Lucy together with their cute dog Mochi). Her husband Kumar helps her out with the doggies and they treat your dog like their own. They are not only great dog sitters but also really nice persons. I will definitely have them take care of my Lucy if the need arises . I would highly recommend Tanuja and Kumar (plus Mochi) to take care of your fur baby.”

“Tiffany was my main point of contact and she was so sweet and caring with my senior (14yo) husky mix Molly. I received updates each day morning, and night, and she took my Moll Doll on tons of walks. Molly got to sleep on furniture and I can tell she had the time of her life in the new comfy environment. It was such a relief knowing that she was so well loved while I was away that now I feel like I need to take her back for visits to her new favorite home away from home.”

“Linda was amazing to our dog Murphy. He was excited to play with her dog and her children. Loved getting the pictures to see what he was up to. He came home happy and exhausted. We will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Kara was an amazing dog sitter for Molly! She was very kind, attentive, and kept us updated with daily pictures while we were away. Molly got plenty of walks, car rides, and attention, and she looked like she was having a great time. It gave us peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. We would absolutely use Kara again and highly recommend her!”

“Rebecca and her husband took phenomenal care of my Millie, and she got along well with their children. It was evident she received lots of loving care and attention. On top of that, I received photos and videos. I would definitely board her at their home again. In addition, I feel comfortable recommending them to others. Millie's tail was wagging when I arrived to pick up and she was clearly very happy. In fact, she made a new best friend, Dixie. That's a big deal because she's a rescue dog and can often be shy around other dogs. If you're looking for quality boarding for your pet, look no further than Rebecca's. Thank you, Rebecca and Jim. Jeanette & Millie”

“Lavina is our go to gal when it comes to boarding our pup! She’s very attentive, detail oriented, and responsive. We don’t go to anyone else, highly recommended!”

We only host a maximum of 2 dogs at a time, which means your fur baby will get personal attention, care, and love, not a crowded daycare vibe. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Lathrup Village
My experience was awesome. This was my first time using Rover and Sogol v made this the best experience ever. She was friendly, showed my pup and myself love. I felt so comfortable because she went above and beyond with her selfless personality. She sent pictures and communicated with me daily. I would recommend her to anyone looking to use this service. You can feel the love she has for animals and people. I can't thank her enough and will use her again.

Rusty had a great time with Sarah. We loved getting messages with videos and pictures of him while we were away. He appeared to be having a great time in all of them. It was reassuring to see that he was being well taken care of (and spoiled 🙂 as much or more than we do). He's been asleep at my side since he came home. Will definitely look into booking with Sarah again when we need someone to watch Rusty.

Molly got plenty of walks, car rides, and attention, and she looked like she was having a great time. It gave us peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. We would absolutely use Kara again and highly recommend her!

Jennifer was great with Basil. She sent updates and Basil always looked like he was having a good time and getting lots of attention. It was really hard to leave our pup and Jennifer made us feel a lot better, knowing she was being so caring with him. I would recommend Jennifer and use her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
