“Kelly is absolutely fantastic. She is super communicative when taking care of my pup, sends photos, is extremely timely, and my pup looks like she is having the best time. She took the time to do a Meet and Greet with us ahead of time and it made us feel super comfortable. We've had a great experience and would highly recommend her.”

About: I grew up on a farm and have taken care of animals and pets my whole life. I love animals, and I’d love to give your pet a walk or a drop in visit during the day! I have a little Shih Tzu of my own, so I know how much fur babies mean to you. I’ll treat your pets with lots of love! I work remotely with a very flexible schedule. Whether you’re looking for a one time visit or repeated care, your pets schedule will fit into mine! I want you and your pets to feel as comfortable as possible. I’ll ask questions to get to know your pet and any of their quirks and needs during the visit or walk. I’m always happy to send a picture or text letting you know how your pet is doing for peace of mind.
“Samantha was incredibly responsive and offered to come meet our dogs before any services were booked to make sure everyone was comfortable. She took extra care with our rescue who needed a bit of extra support and was flexible in walking our other dog solo. We really enjoyed her updates and pictures from the visits.”

About: When I take care of pets, I treat your home as my own and go above and behind to treat your fur babies as I would my own. My compassion and work ethic make me a perfect candidate for any pet sitting job. I work full time in an office but am very used to taking care of pets in other people’s homes. Due to my work schedule, weekends are best since I am able to spend more time with the pets. However I am totally fine with commuting from other homes to my office if that works for my clients. I figure out what each pet needs and I act accordingly. I treat clients’ home (and their pets) as I would my own: respectfully and with great attention and care. I believe it’s important to be open and communicative with my clients to establish expectations with both the home and the pets.
“It was just a first meet-and-greet, but Rebekah communicated clearly, was friendly, and seemed to put Ralphie at ease. Will definitely contact her for future drop-in and house sitting needs!”

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have experience caring for dogs and cats for family, friends, and neighbors. I’m active, reliable, and attentive to routines, which helps pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I love going on long walks, giving pets attention and playtime, and making sure they feel safe and happy. As a teacher, I’m patient, responsible, and detail-oriented, and I’ll always communicate clearly with pet parents and provide updates throughout visits! I am a full time teacher so I am available most evenings starting at 5pm and available some weekends. I am off for the summer soon and will then be available during the daytime on weekdays and on weekends when I’m not traveling! I understand that every animal has different needs and personalities, so I take time to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I’m mindful during walks, careful with doors/leashes, and respectful of each client’s home and routines. I also believe communication is key, so I make sure pet parents receive updates and photos for peace of mind throughout each visit!
“We had such a great experience with Hannah. She took care of our cats for nearly two weeks and we felt completely at ease the entire time. We received regular updates and lots of photos. Wouldn’t hesitate to book with Hannah again!”
About: My family and I raised a pug named Poppy for 13 years and later another named Daisy. Poppy passed away last year after living a full and loving life under our care. I still miss her every day! Dogs seem to be drawn to me everywhere I go. And I’m always happy to play with them any opportunity I get! Don’t be surprised if you fur baby begs you to come back after our time together. Background in semi professional baseball and financial wealth management I work typically 9-6 on weekdays with some flexibility. Occasionally later depending on client meetings. Weekends I’m normally free, especially during the winter. I do play in multiple sports leagues, but those are usually on weeknights. I have a fenced in yard with a dog lead and is located within a subdivision away from a busy street. I also have a big open basement with padded floors for your pet to run around and play in. My house is very clean and even has brand new carpets. I allow pets on furniture, I just typically wipe off their paws after we return from walks or playing in the yard. My cat is friendly, but I also have a guest room upstairs she can stay in when company is over. No small objects or choking hazards around and very few breakable items for them to worry about running into.
About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes and energy levels. My pet care journey began while working at a professional dog daycare/boarding kennel, where I gained experience with canine behavior, feeding schedules, and administering medication. That experience gave me a solid foundation in safety, structure, and understanding dogs’ unique needs. Outside of that, I’ve been the go-to dog sitter and walker for friends and family for years. Whether it’s overnight boarding or daily walks, I’m known for being reliable, punctual, and genuinely loving toward every dog I meet. I treat every pet like they’re my own—with lots of affection, attention, and tailored care. I pride myself on creating a safe, fun, and comforting environment whether your pup is boarding or just a walk around the block. You can count on me to communicate clearly, show up on time, and make sure your dog gets the love, exercise, and care they deserve. I’m currently working part-time and have open availability for dog walking Sunday-Tuesday, anytime before 10am on Wednesdays, after 1pm on Thursdays, and after 3pm Friday & Saturday. Boarding availability can be discussed :) Whether I’m staying overnight or just spending the day, I’m committed to providing a calm, caring environment where your pup feels safe and loved. I treat every dog like family and always focus on their comfort, routine, and happiness.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have found a lot of joy in spending time with dogs, whether that be walking, playing or just hanging out! I work part time currently so I have a very flexible schedule! This allows me to stop by multiple times a day if needed—whatever keeps your pup happy! Making sure I’m aware of my surroundings and prioritizing the pet’s safety is always first. Being conscious of where we are, what risks may be posed, and what kind of animals are around is something I stay aware of.
“I could not recommend Alaine enough. She was excellent with communication (cute pics/vids of our little guy, how her check-ins went with him, just all the things). She took excellent care of our cat and he clearly loved her so much!! I definitely recommend reaching out to Alaine for help with your pets, because she clearly has a passion and love for them. Thank you, Alaine!! We definitely hope to work together again soon. :)”

“Suzanne did a wonderful job with our fur babies. Our girl cat can be cranky or a sweetheart and Suzanne knew how to bring the sweetheart out of her. She sent delightful photos of Peanut rubbing all up and down her leg in greeting and running around the house excitedly playing or having zoomies. We knew our cat was in good hands with her from the very beginning - just a vibe - but she proved to be responsible, attentive, and definitely went the extra mile to make sure we knew Peanut was being loved, food and maintenance was being taken care of, and that our other pets were also safe.”
“Amazing proactive care of my cats, excellent communication! Went above and beyond to make nervous cats comfortable and confident, and made my travel so much less stressful. Will hire again!”

About: I'm a huge pet lover and love meeting new pets and their unique personalities! My husband and I have a golden doodle puppy named Rosie! She is playful and is looking for a best friend in every dog she meets! There is one child in our home (3 years) who loves having our dog visitors. We love going on walks around my neighborhood and would love to take your pet with us! My husband and I are both animal lovers and work in the schools with summers off. I'm flexible with any dog's special needs or accommodations. It's important to know who your loved one is staying with so ask me anything and check in as needed! When I’m away from Rosie I love getting pictures of her so I will happily send you as many pictures as you’d like while your dog is with us. Let me know if you have any questions! My husband and I are off work in the summer as we work in the schools. We love spending our time outside with our dog and little girl! We’re accommodating for a variety of needs in our home. Whether crated, uncrated, needing to eat away from other dogs, bathroom breaks, etc. Our Rosie loves being outside and asks probably once an hour to go out (during waking hours) to go out, even just to lay down.
About: I have been pet sitting for some years and have worked with many dogs and cats. I have worked with large and small dogs and am very comfortable staying at another home with a dog and sleeping with a pup or two. I have a very open schedule and will be able to attend to a dog's needs at least four times a day. I can go to bed late or early and wake up early/late to match a dog's needs. I am a light sleeper, so any late-night needs will easily wake me and have me attend to them. Before joining Rover, I was contracted via word of mouth and reliability with people I had previously worked with. I was recommended to many people who needed dog sitting, and most asked me if I was available the next time they needed a dog sitter.
“Amanda was great with my black lab! She visited my home when I was at work to let my dog out. Amanda provided my dog with lots of play time, a walk, and sent plenty of pictures. Would highly recommend her services! 🐕🦺🐾”

Emily has been great with our Lucy! You can tell she has a lot of experience and is a pet lover. Our Lucy who can be timid and high anxiety really took to Emily and even sat on her lap! Emily’s communication prior was great and she kept us informed on the visit including photos. We would highly recommend her especially if your pet has special needs.

Winnie was awesome! Super easy to communicate with and made everything really stress-free for us. Our puppy Poppy absolutely loved her and we could tell she got tons of love and attention. Winnie is super trustworthy and reliable — we felt totally comfortable leaving Poppy in her hands. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
