About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities. I’ve raised and trained my two family dogs since they were puppies, handling things like daily walks, feeding, exercise, and basic obedience training. I’ve also helped care for neighbors’ and friends’ pets through drop-ins and pet sitting, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I already care for my two cats and two dogs every day. I’m currently working part-time as a server, but I still have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide reliable pet care, check-ins, walks, feeding, playtime, and attention. I’m used to balancing responsibilities and staying organized, so I can consistently make sure pets are cared for and comfortable while their owners are away. I always prioritize keeping pets safe, comfortable, and stress-free. I have experience caring for both cats and dogs with different personalities and energy levels, so I’m patient and attentive to each pet’s needs. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walk routines, and any other care requests from owners.
“Kelly was wonderful! We were in a scramble after our initial dog sitter had to cancel, and we’re recommended to try Rover very last minute, and we were lucky enough to find Kelly. We have an older dog who is pretty anxious, especially with new people. She was able to set a meet and greet with us and our dog prior to us leaving. This put us and our dog at ease. She provided updates everyday that we were gone and photos of your pup too! I would highly recommend Kelly to anyone who needs a reliable and trustworthy person to watch their pet.”

“Jessica has been great with our dogs. We had a few special instructions and she took care of everything we needed. Our dogs get let out twice a week by her, and sometimes she stays longer than we asked. She’s very good at updating our Rover account with all of the details and photos from each visit!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, including large breeds like German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, Labs, and Belgian Malinois, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. For the past 4 years, I’ve been dog sitting and have experience caring for puppies as well as older dogs with different routines and needs. I have references from previous clients who can speak to my reliability and how well I care for their pets. I also have a college degree and bring a strong sense of responsibility and trust to every job. I love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, taking them on trails, playing, or just relaxing at home. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I also love cats and am happy to care for them too, though most of my experience is with dogs! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I currently work part-time and also volunteer with research labs as I prepare for graduate school. While I’m unavailable for extended weekday house-sitting due to my work schedule, I have availability for evening and weekend pet care and am committed to providing reliable, attentive care. I’m used to structuring my day around animals, whether that’s walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication administration, or simply providing companionship. I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets, and caring for them is something I look forward to. I strive to follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible and adapt to their individual needs. Whether your pet is energetic and loves activity or prefers a calmer environment and extra cuddles, I aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I care for every pet like they’re my own. I always make sure they have fresh water, are fed on their normal schedule, and stick to their usual routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. For dogs, I provide at least two walks a day along with plenty of outdoor time, play, and attention based on their energy level. I love going on walks or trails, but I’m just as happy hanging out at home with them and giving them lots of love and companionship. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of your space and make sure everything stays clean and organized. I follow all care instructions closely and keep you updated so you feel at ease while you’re away. If pets are in my home, they’ll be in a safe, calm environment with lots of supervision and attention. My goal is always the same, to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved the entire time you’re gone.
“Jillian did a wonderful job checking in on our cats and administering medication to our Meeko while we were away for the holiday weekend. She provided detailed report cards and took the most adorable pictures! Jillian was always very responsive and communicative throughout the weekend and we felt happy and at ease knowing our babies were well taken care of. Will definitely rebook her!”

About: I'm Mark, and I've been caring for animals since I was a kid. If you need someone trustworthy to care for your pet look no further. Thank you in advance for your consideration. I currently work in project management, where managing schedules is my forte. I'm single and spend most of my time being active. Getting your dog walks or care will not be a problem, as I am very flexible. My parent was a canine handler for the DEA, so I grew up in an environment where training, trust and safety with your dog was paramount. I live in a condo in Royal Oak. My neighborhood and surroundings are very walkable with dog parks in the area.

About: Animals have been a part of my life since I was 2 years old. I had a parrot named pichichi, 2 dogs named Charlie and Layla, and now 3 cats named Aphrodite, Achilles, and Artemis. Pets provide an unconditional love and companionship that is unique to each of them. Each pet is different deserves as much love and attention as we can provide for them. Skills include: -Bilingual -Comfortable working with multiple pets -Cleaning and pet space care as needed -Comfortable providing pets medication as needed as long as introductions are provided -A promise to be attentive and present with your pet I’m currently transitioning between jobs so pet care is the majority of my day. I spend a lot of time taking care of my fiance and I’s three cats. I have dedicated pet spaces in my own home with our cats having free roam of the home space. I am more than happy to care for pets in spaces specifically for them both in home and out in parks. I make sure to be attentive to the needs of each pet.
About: I grew up with dogs and lived with multiple roommates that had dogs in college and during post-college life. I was living dog-free for a few years until I finally adopted a pup of my own, Dawson, in March of 2020. After adopting Dawson, I began volunteering at the puppy pavilion at his shelter where I met his little brother, Einstein, so in a little less than two years I went from zero dogs to two! I work in finance and am still entirely remote, which has made owning two dogs & training a puppy so much easier. I took a break from rover sitting while I completed grad school, and I didn't think I'd be back until I noticed the lack of sitters in my own neighborhood as I was looking for someone to watch my dogs. My fiance and I have fostered multiple dogs from the shelter, and our older dog came with a challenging background, which we continue to work through with training every day. The puppy's been easy compared to him, so I am comfortable handling varying pup personalities. I'm very active and would love to take your dog(s) on long walks/runs/hikes or just toss a ball around in the backyard. I'm currently working from home, so I'll have plenty of time to take your dogs out on walks throughout the day. I have two dogs at home, and one of them is a puppy. Working remotely has made training a breeze! I have a privacy fence around 90% of my yard, and plan to put a gate in where the driveway leads to the garage. In the meantime, I have a stake and lead. I trust my own dogs in the backyard without it as I stand in front of the unfenced area, but I would be sure to put yours on the lead as it'd be a new environment from him or her.
“Ally is amazing she was so good with my pup and was very helpful with it being my first time using Rover, she is a great communicator and was able to follow his routine to a t! I will definitely be using her again for any of my future needs🫶🏻”

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes and energy levels. My pet care journey began while working at a professional dog daycare/boarding kennel, where I gained experience with canine behavior, feeding schedules, and administering medication. That experience gave me a solid foundation in safety, structure, and understanding dogs’ unique needs. Outside of that, I’ve been the go-to dog sitter and walker for friends and family for years. Whether it’s overnight boarding or daily walks, I’m known for being reliable, punctual, and genuinely loving toward every dog I meet. I treat every pet like they’re my own—with lots of affection, attention, and tailored care. I pride myself on creating a safe, fun, and comforting environment whether your pup is boarding or just a walk around the block. You can count on me to communicate clearly, show up on time, and make sure your dog gets the love, exercise, and care they deserve. I’m currently working part-time and have open availability for dog walking Sunday-Tuesday, anytime before 10am on Wednesdays, after 1pm on Thursdays, and after 3pm Friday & Saturday. Boarding availability can be discussed :) Whether I’m staying overnight or just spending the day, I’m committed to providing a calm, caring environment where your pup feels safe and loved. I treat every dog like family and always focus on their comfort, routine, and happiness.
“Emily has been great with our Lucy! You can tell she has a lot of experience and is a pet lover. Our Lucy who can be timid and high anxiety really took to Emily and even sat on her lap! Emily’s communication prior was great and she kept us informed on the visit including photos. We would highly recommend her especially if your pet has special needs.”

About: I come from a family of big animal lovers. Some of my siblings even turned that passion into careers as veterinary technicians. I was raised in a house that always had a dog, which truly is what made it a home. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own (but hope to soon!), my family has loved and raised 3 over the years - making it second nature for me to treat every pet like they’re my own. Pet care fits into my routine before and after work during the week, plus open availability on weekends. I’m big on routine and making pets feel like nothing has changed for them while they’re being cared for - so I aim to stick as close to their normal schedule as I can, while providing attention, walks, and care that feels steady and familiar 😊 I care for pets by following the owner’s instructions closely and maintaining their normal routines as much as possible. I pay attention to feeding schedules, walk timing, behavior cues.
“Jenna does an excellent job with my puppy Spud, listens to what I have asked in terms of how to spend the time, is respectful to my belongings, also gives me plenty of feedback to put my mind at ease as a new dog dad that all is going well during the session. Thanks Jenna!”
