Hi! My name is Alex. I am heavily involved in the world of animal rescue, and have experience with a variety of different animals. I have cared for and fostered dozens of dogs throughout my life, and absolutely love large dogs and bully breeds! I have also fostered and cared for hundreds of adult cats, kittens, and geriatric felines. I am a major proponent of positive reinforcement, and will not ever work with any kind of negative reinforcement or punishment based training. I am comfortable with some clicker and reward based training as well should you want to work on a few things with your dog and/or cat (I've trained a few cats to do tricks, too!) I am experienced in administering a variety of medications. I have three cats of my own ranging from 15-years-old to 2-years-old, and a 5-year-old 65lb pitty. Ask me anything! I truly cannot wait to meet your furry family members!

Safety, trust & environment
Although I do not bring clients into my home, I care for them in their comfortable home environment however they are most comfortable. It's important I maintain their routines and help them to feel safe and secure. For cats this includes dedicated toy time and snuggles, and for dogs it includes supervised yard time or walkies!

Alex was amazing. It was my first time actually leaving cookie alone so I was very nervous. Cookie was excited when alex stopped by for the “meet and greet” and I knew she’d work out perfect. Plenty of pictures were sent for every drop in visit which helped me not stress/ worry so much. I will definitely be using alex again in the future and I highly recommend you use her as well! Alex was great! She sent amazing photos and was super easy to communicate with. Our cat Lincoln was super well cared for and was in good spirits when we got home :).

Schedule
My job allows me an immense amount of flexibility as well as being remote so I have lots of time for your baby! I can provide multiple check ins a day during the week or weekend.
