“Lauren is so great! She helped me out with a last-minute drop in request with only a few hours of notice. The following is my review of Lauren when I first engaged her to care for my dogs…a bit long, but it will paint the picture of the kind-hearted and responsible sitter Lauren is. When my former sitter could no longer care of my dogs, I turned to Rover to find a new caregiver. I was drawn in by Lauren’s profile and clear love of animals. She came over to meet my old dogs (10 and 13 ½) and they hit it off immediately. My boys are always excited for a visitor and smothered Lauren with lots of attention. She was patient with them and really took time to get to know them – outside too. I arranged drop in visits three times a day while I was gone (6 days). She sent me a report card for every visit. They were detailed and included lots of photos (20 or so). Her description of the visits where so good…she captured the quirks of each dog and gave me a general update. Between the photos and her descriptions, I felt like I was there. The report cards have a time stamp and I could see that she spent more than the scheduled time with the dogs. I could tell that my dogs were good and happy. She was great at following instructions for the medication for my older dog. And the house was in order when I returned. My neighbor mention how nice she was and how much time she spent outside with the dogs. I can’t recommend Lauren enough (though selfishly…I only want her when I travel). You would be lucky to have Lauren care for your beloved pets.”

About: My family and I raised a pug named Poppy for 13 years and later another named Daisy. Poppy passed away last year after living a full and loving life under our care. I still miss her every day! Dogs seem to be drawn to me everywhere I go. And I’m always happy to play with them any opportunity I get! Don’t be surprised if you fur baby begs you to come back after our time together. Background in semi professional baseball and financial wealth management I work typically 9-6 on weekdays with some flexibility. Occasionally later depending on client meetings. Weekends I’m normally free, especially during the winter. I do play in multiple sports leagues, but those are usually on weeknights. I have a fenced in yard with a dog lead and is located within a subdivision away from a busy street. I also have a big open basement with padded floors for your pet to run around and play in. My house is very clean and even has brand new carpets. I allow pets on furniture, I just typically wipe off their paws after we return from walks or playing in the yard. My cat is friendly, but I also have a guest room upstairs she can stay in when company is over. No small objects or choking hazards around and very few breakable items for them to worry about running into.

I have two dogs one is a year-old and one is six years old and also I have a senior mother at homePlay and regular walks included along with feedings . I do meet and greets but outside my home or for a maximum of 10 minutes in the home I take care of your dog like he or she was mine. If you need me to walk the dogs separately I can do so or walk him/her with mine. I love animals! I am flexible! I feed on time and give them ample exercise I take care of dogs like they are my own. Lizzi was awesome. This was our first time leaving our super social under 1 year old kitten and I was really nervous. It was so great seeing updates of Zuzu happily playing, sleeping, eating and drinking.. being her happy self while we were away. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
