“Cammi was terrific! She took such good care of our two kitties, playing with them every day and sending us pics and notes about how they were doing. She also cheerfully cleaned up a hairball and brought in our mail. We’re glad we found Cammi and will definitely book her again!”

“Discounts is at least three reviews, all A+ ! Sarahcate truly went above and beyond when dropping in and walking my very energetic two year-old Staffordshire terrier mix! About: I have been an animal lover since childhood and a pet parent for many years. I will bring all my experience to taking care of your pets. As I have flexibility to work remotely I will be able to take care of your pets on weekdays and weekends. I have enough time for walks and playtime. I have an extremely friendly dog and a dog friendly cat. They will keep your pet company. There is sufficient space in the house to run around and play.
About: We have been life long animal lovers - raising a combined 30+ animals (both domestic and farm). We recently lost our 2 dogs, after raising them from puppies and cherishing every moment! Now with our kids, we've decided the best way to fill our hearts is by helping care for other families' beloved pets. With years of hands-on experience (and the added insight of having a father who's a large & small animal veterinarian), we bring both loving care & extra peace of mind to every walk, play session, and cuddle. We have two adults who work full-time from home, so our availability and presence within the house is very flexible. Our children are school aged (Kindergarten & 1st Grade) so they are home during non-school hours. The largest animals we have owned are Rottweilers down to most recently a Pomeranian, so experience in safety is vast! We have a fully fenced in yard (or fenced in deck if your animal prefers to be off the grass) - both offer plenty of shade for potty breaks outside. We have a dedicated dog room for safe sleep and rest - which is on the same floor as our normal living area and primary bedroom. We definitely consider pets & animals to be an extension of family and are treated as so - with attention and free roam of the home and furniture.
“Aixa took amazing care of our two dogs. Her communication and flexibility with our schedule was so appreciated. We came home to two very happy dogs, which made us feel relieved and thankful. We will be working with Aixa again for future visits!”

“We highly recommend Sarah. She communicated with us all the time and sent photos. Most of all she was so accommodating when we ran into issues with our travel plans. We will definitely use her again if she's available”

About: Hi, I am your pet's next best friend! My friends even call me Snow White because I adore animals of all sizes. I have spent my whole life with dogs and bring a lifetime of personal experience. Plus, as a rescue volunteer, I have fostered, trained, and found forever homes for many dogs. Your pet's safety, health, and happiness are my top goals. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Farmington
Impeccable communication and an absolutely pleasure working with Sarahcate. Would give 100 stars! Thank you for following all requests and sharing photos as well. I felt comfortable that my fur baby was receiving the best possible care. Sarahcate really set my mind at ease. She is very kind, caring, insightful and personable to interact with! Added bonus - Gordy was content and safe under her care. Cannot thank you enough.
Maria was wonderful with my two kitties! She was friendly, responsive, and stopped by for check-ins while we were away. She followed all of the instructions I left, and my cats have quite a few gadgets (a Litter Robot, microchip feeders, etc.), which wasn’t a problem for her at all. Most importantly, my super shy kitty (who never comes out for strangers) came out to see her right away! I was so happy that he felt comfortable with her, especially since he gets extremely anxious when we’re away. He’s had sitters in the past who never see him because he likes to hide, yet he was eating treats out of her hand. I would absolutely recommend Maria and would happily book with her again! :)

This is our second time I’m using Madalyne to watch our three kitties. She watched them for three weeks while we went out of the country. Even our shy kitties warmed up to her and allowed her to actually pet them, which was amazing. She did a great job and we will definitely use her again.

Erin is a fantastic sitter for my kittens! She is friendly, knowledgeable, timely, and so good with animals. She is always quick to respond to messages and will go above and beyond to make sure you feel assured that your pets are happy and healthy. She also sent photos and videos, which I really appreciated, and left my house cleaner than I did! We can’t wait to book with Erin again!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
