“Nicole did an amazing job with the check-in! She was prompt, professional, and clearly very caring with my puppy. She gave me detailed updates along with pictures, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. My puppy looked so happy and comfortable with her, and I could tell she treated him like her own. I really appreciate the attention to detail and the extra effort she put in to make sure everything was perfect. “Very conscientious and a pet lover. Even held one of my guinea pigs. Spent sufficient time giving affection and playing my very lonely attention-starved cats as well. Report cards were detailed and photos are adorable. Highly recommended.”

“I was so nervous about leaving my senior cat in the hands of someone else as she is very picky. And usually has choice words for strangers. Chelsea instantly eased my anxieties. She did a meet n greet which I thought was so kind. My cat instantly liked her (which is not usual for her!) Not only did Chelsea do the drop-in perfectly but she even was patient enough for my other skiddish cat to come out of hiding. And she sent plenty of pictures that gave me even more relief on my vacation. She even brought our packages in from the porch! I appreciate her and would definitely book her services again! 10/10 recommend!”

“Jill took excellent care of my baby and had eased my concerns about him being lonely and sad while I was away. She sent pictures and went above and beyond what I expected from drop-in visits. I appreciate her kind and friendly spirit and the love she showed my dog. Thanks so much!”

About: I’ve been around cats and dogs my entire life. I’ve almost always had a dog and a few cats around the household. I truly love animals and think there is something sweet and special about all of them. Especially with rescues I’ve found if an animal has “odd” mannerisms, it’s typically because they learned to be that way for their own self preservation. That doesn’t mean there isn’t love somewhere in there, you just have to have more patience before they’re able to express it. I’m especially experienced with medium-larger dog breeds such as Labradoodles, German Shepards and Pitbulls. We just lost our family German Shepard, Shadow, this past winter. He was a very happy pup and lived to be just a few months shy of 14. For most of his life he was very high energy and my absolute favorite thing to do was take him on walks. It was a privilege to see how excited he would get and how much he’d smile on walks. :) I’m very good at spotting anything ahead of time that could serve as a potential stressor or trigger for dogs when I walk them. For about 9 months I lived with and cared for Mr. Blue— a deaf senior cat with a thyroid condition. So I’m no stranger to animals with disabilities or medications! My current household has 2 cats, Bonnie & Benji, who I love very dearly. Our current apartment complex is unfortunately not dog-friendly, so for the moment I only visit pups and take them on walks. I work full time at the moment, so most pet-care for me will happen early afternoon-evening. On my days off I’m more readily available all day, and I’m excited to work with you to find a schedule that works for both of us! When meeting the dog, I always like to talk to them from a distance and hold out my hand to let them sniff it. I think taking a gentle approach is often the best case for most dogs. Before walking, I make sure the dog is secured in their harness or collar before we head off around the neighborhood.

Nicole took care of my dogs for several months, doing drop-in visits during the day a few times a week. I can't say enough about how caring she has been and all of the love and attention she has given my furbabies. She has been very patient with their high-maintenance tendencies. Communication has always been excellent. I would highly recommend her if you need a sitter!

Celia was my first ever Dogsitter/Rover experience. I was anxious leaving my dog behind because I didn’t know what to expect — from hiring a sitter or from my Leo. But Celia calmed those nerves at our meet and greet. Seeing how quickly Leo fell in love with her made me feel confident that he was in good hands. With each visit, I knew when she arrived and when she left. I received photos and videos of my boy enjoying his snuggles and eating. Communication was a breeze! And her level of flexibility also helped. I’m so grateful to have found Celia and couldn’t recommend her more!! I’ll definitely be tapping her again for any future needs.
