“Amie was amazing for our Bellamy! I could always count on detailed daily reports and pictures. I knew he was being cared for and loved just as at home. And playing with her dogs and family made him so happy! I think he already misses being at their house. 🥲”

“Holland was an amazing dog sitter for Diablo! I was really comfortable leaving Diablo in her care while I was at work. She sent regular updates and photos, which I really appreciated. It was so nice knowing how Diablo was doing and seeing him having a good time, especially since he seemed to really enjoy playing with her dog, Pidge. She was also so kind and attentive; she even gave him his meds when he got anxious, which was a huge relief. I could tell she genuinely cared about Diablo's well-being.”

About: I live alone and work from home so I am home every day. I have had pets since I was 5 years old. I started to watch a friend's Bouvier when they vacationed and I loved it. Even though I have a cat she has learned to keep away while I was dog sitting. I used to have a Beagle for many years. Hard dog to walk but the joy of having her was unmeasurable. I work from home so I will be with your pet all day and have time for breaks to let them out and walk them. I have an enclosed back yard. They can go back and forth from outside to inside. I have a window to my backyard as I work during the day. Taking walking breaks from work is easy for me.
“Dena was fantastic! Potter had the best time with her and her family. He played hard and was so well loved during his entire stay. Dena also did a great job with updates and photos which we appreciated so much, as it allowed us to get a glimpse into the amazing time potter was having. I couldn’t recommend her and her family enough! THANKS DENA!”

“Thank you! Scout had a great time…came home and napped! He had fun playing in their big yard and playing with other dogs! We loved receiving his frequent pictures. Thanks for taking great care of our sweet Scout!”

“Susan was great to communicate with and easy to work with. Even when unexpected things came up, she was upfront and worked out a good situation for our dog. She was also flexible with pickup when our flight was an hour delayed getting back.”

“We had such a great first Rover experience with Shannon! She sent updates and pictures of our dog several times a day, and she was professional from start to finish. We’ll definitely call on her again when we need dog-sitting!”

“I will absolutely be letting Tara watch Raz again. Like other reviewers mentioned, when I brought him home he could not stop sleeping, so I know he had a great time. She communicated wonderfully and sent so many pics which I loved. My pup felt right at home. Very kind and caring family as well, I’d highly recommend to anyone!”

“Debbie did a great job with our Sheltie Liam. They have a clean, comfortable home with a nice fenced in backyard. Their two Scotties are very friendly towards other dogs. Highly recommended.”

“I would highly recommend Chelsea for your daycare and boarding needs. She is very responsive and has a very nice house and fenced backyard for our dog Milo to be able to run around and relax in. Chelsea also sent pictures throughout Milo’s stay and provided updates consistently. I will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Christina was very communicative and accommodating, keeping us updated on everything we needed to know throughout the stay. She even let us know about a last-minute schedule change on her end so we were fully aware. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with her and will definitely book again!”

About: I don’t rush trust or force interaction. I give them space and let them warm up naturally. I pay close attention to the small details that matter to them, like keeping their routine consistent, their litter box clean, and their environment calm and familiar. I treat every visit like it’s about the cat’s comfort first, not just completing tasks, so they stay relaxed and secure while you’re away. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time and attention to truly focus on the pets I care for. I enjoy being around animals and find it rewarding to help them feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed while their owners are away. I’m dependable, responsive, and always make sure each pet gets the care and consistency they’re used to. I focus on safety, trust, and a calm environment where pets feel at home. I have a large house and a fully fenced backyard, giving dogs space to play and relax securely. I work from home, so pets are never left alone for long and get steady attention throughout the day.
About: Over the years, I've built lasting relationships with pet families who trust me with their most precious companions. I've also cared for my own pets through major life transitions, health challenges, and everything in between. This extensive experience has taught me that every pet is an individual with specific needs, preferences, and quirks that deserve personalized attention and love. I work full-time on a hybrid schedule. Monday through Wednesday I am gone for 8 hours, but always have time in the evening for pet care and walking. Thursday through Sunday I am home and would love to give your fur baby lots of attention and walks. I am an avid walker and love to have a companion come on walks with me. I live in a condo with no fenced yard, but there is plenty of green space and its a great area for taking long walks. I recently lost my two fur babies, but would love to care for your fur baby when needed.
“This was our first time using Maureen to care for our Bella and we were very pleased with the care she received. She took such great care of her and treated her like her own. She sent updates and photos of their time together and we felt very comfortable leaving Bella with her. As much as Bella was excited to see us upon our return to pick her up, she was equally excited to return inside the house to give Maureen kisses as we were leaving. Maureen is a great caregiver if you're looking for someone to board your dog or for daycare and walks.”

“Super kind and communicated with an update once a day. Definitely recommend to anyone that needs help with their four-legged family member. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again for future dog-sitter needs.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Plymouth
Karen took excellent care of Cocoa! She is an experienced pet lover, and she radiates warmth and positivity. Karen knew all of the tricks to get Cocoa to eat (she’s super finicky). She sent us pictures every day, and took extra care to make sure that we were comfortable leaving Cocoa with her. We will 100% book a stay with Karen again.

I boarded my one year old puppy overnight with Jacqueline. What I loved most about my experience was that she sent multiple updates and pictures. I’ve used sitters in the past who would just send one, so getting all the updates made me feel at ease and it was appreciated. I knew when I dropped him off he would be in great hands. When I picked him up, he was whining in the car because he wanted to stay, I could tell he had a ton of fun and was tuckered out….I will definitely use her again!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
