“Christopher and Cassandra have been great for Diesel. They kept us updates about the stay, sending pictures and videos and letting us know how he was settling in as this was our first time with them. They were flexible with drop off and pickup times and will surely have them at the top of our list for next time.”

“Amie was amazing for our Bellamy! I could always count on detailed daily reports and pictures. I knew he was being cared for and loved just as at home. And playing with her dogs and family made him so happy! I think he already misses being at their house. 🥲”

“My dogs had a great time with Chelsea and Robert. Chelsea was great with communication and sent many photos and videos to keep me updated. I felt very comfortable with leaving my two dogs with her. They can’t wait to go back, hopefully soon! 💙🐾💙🐾”

“We had such a great first Rover experience with Shannon! She sent updates and pictures of our dog several times a day, and she was professional from start to finish. We’ll definitely call on her again when we need dog-sitting!”

“Dawn was great! We got updated with pictures and video. Bella really enjoyed her time. I highly recommend Dawn and I will be reaching out to her on our next trip away. Thank you, Dawn 🐾”

“Nadine and Mark were fantastic! This was my first time using them and I had no concerns before, during, or after my dog’s stay. Sprout was clearly very calm and comfortable staying with them. They were very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing their services.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Anjana! She took great care of our dog and kept us updated throughout the stay. We truly appreciated her kindness, reliability, and attention to detail. Highly recommend!”

“Cheryl was great with Dixie (18lb Yorkie-Poo). We left her for a 5 night stay; Dixie settled in quickly & bonded almost immediately with Cheryl. We recevied daily updates & photos. We will definately leave our Dixie with Cheryl again.”

“Kerri had excellent communication and updates. She took wonderful care of our dog and he had a great time. We would definitely recommend Kerri and will bring our dog back to her.”

“Tiffany was my main point of contact and she was so sweet and caring with my senior (14yo) husky mix Molly. I received updates each day morning, and night, and she took my Moll Doll on tons of walks. Molly got to sleep on furniture and I can tell she had the time of her life in the new comfy environment. It was such a relief knowing that she was so well loved while I was away that now I feel like I need to take her back for visits to her new favorite home away from home.”

“Megan did a great job taking care of my baby while I was gone on a vacation for the long weekend. I received daily updates, pictures and videos of my dog playing with her puppy. She also bathed him and kept him in comfort during the Father’s Day fireworks. I am beyond impressed, thankful and appreciative to her love towards the fur babies!!”

About: I started dog sitting when I was a young teenager, but I didn’t have my own dog until 2019. Since then I’ve been able to watch friends and family members dogs. I used Rover services for my own dog and realized it would be fun to care for others’ pets and provide play dates for my dog at the same time. I work from home Monday-Friday and we’re typically home on weekends. My dog is friendly and happy to play with others or relax all day. We have a fenced in yard and are very focused on safety. We have plenty of sidewalks to take walks on. I allow dogs on furniture and have plenty of dog beds and toys.
“Christina was amazing, she kept us informed the whole time, sent pictures and Forrest had a blast. Our flight was eight hours delayed and she was kind and patient. I highly recommend her for any pet sitting.”

About: I have had a dog my whole life until our dog passed away. I have decided to care for other people’s dogs to help fill the void of ours. We are empty nesters who would love the companionship of an animal to snuggle and care for. We love to walk and go to parks which we will do for your fur baby. I work 7 am to 6 pm but come home during the day for lunch so your fur baby will be able to go outside a few times a day. Also, home in the evenings and weekends if you were to choose us to care for your dog. We have a fenced in yard and plenty of grass to run on. Our home is not huge but we allow dogs to roam and if a kennel is needed we would ask you to bring yours to our house so the dog has a familiar place to go. We are loving dog people.
“Dawn is always so great with our dog and he’s always excited to visit her! Whether she has a lot of other dogs or just Hank, we always know he’ll be well taken care of!”

“Kind, friendly, so easy to work with. Rahied made what was an anxious situation for me, completely worry-free. I couldn’t have asked for a better caretaker. I knew my furry friend was in good hands right at the moment I met Rahied. I have no reservations about recommending him.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Livonia
So happy that Mark and Nadine were able to watch Cora on our weeklong vacation. We received frequent l updates which we liked, and we were really comfortable leaving her with them as they love dogs and are very attentive. Definitely would use them again to watch our dog!

Anne is awesome! It's a super lucky dog that gets to stay w/ her. There's walks, sometimes long ones, backyard explorations, and hanging out on the couch watching tv together time. I always felt guilty when I boarded my dogs. There's no guilt when they get to stay w/ Anne.
I would highly recommend Chelsea for your daycare and boarding needs. She is very responsive and has a very nice house and fenced backyard for our dog Milo to be able to run around and relax in. Chelsea also sent pictures throughout Milo’s stay and provided updates consistently. I will definitely be booking with her again.

Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
