I currently work part time and my husband and I have opposite work schedules so someone is always home to supervise the dogs. I’m able to be with them the majority of the day and when I’m working my husband is there in the afternoon and evenings.

Staying with us is like staying with family. If you prefer your dogs on a strict routine and crated at night I will abide by your wishes. If your dog is used to sleeping in your bed and laying on the couch this is fine too! We want to make you and your dog happy while they stay with us.

Information Tara C. would like to know about your pet
The most important is the dogs temperament, I have young children and other small medium pets in my home and I have to make sure everyone gets along. Please make sure your dog/cat is up to date with shots and flea and tick prevention is also recommended :) I do accept some large breeds but I own smaller animals myself so large aggressive dogs that jump on them can be very intimidating and can cause them stress so a meet and greet is needed first before I accept a boarding or daycare request.
A typical day
My kids love new visitors and enjoy playing with them and showering them with love and affection! I have a huge fenced in backyard so lots of area for the dogs to roam, play and discover!

Pet care experience
Hello, I’m Tara and along with my husband Gary We have 3 kids, 2 dogs and 1 cat. We are huge animal lovers here and it’s so important to us to raise our children to love and respect animals and treat them properly cause they are the next generation. We’ve been doing local Drop in visits for neighbors for years and also hosted some Foster dogs in our home. We thought this would be a great opportunity to help out someone that needs help for when they work or go away and need their dogs looked after. Our kids love to help out as well and like to tag along on drop in visits and go with us on the dog walks . Message me if you have any questions or concerns!

Reviews

Tara provided excellent care for our Coco. She provided photos of her fun vacation, and Coco was well cared for during her stay. Would book with her again!

Tara was great. We were nervous to leave our dog since it was the first time she was ever away from us. Tara provided daily updates and pictures which eased our minds. I will use her again.

Tara was VERY accommodating, which was greatly appreciated because I was last minute. My Leo clung to her daughter the whole weekend so he felt right at home. I got back in town late and she was still very gracious. She was patient with my Leo as he's not used to being around other pets.

Tara and Gary were able to accommodate my last minute request. Sending me pictures and video keeping me in the loop of little rockys first time away from home. She treated rocky like her own and he was tired out from the fun he had. You can tell they really care. Thank you again for taking care of my fur baby!
