“Ray is the man!! He was great with both my cat and my silly lab. Being an ocean away from home was worrisome, but Ray made it easier on all of us, by keeping my fur-babies well cared for, and keeping me and my family aware of how they were doing. I have nothing I can say, but thank you!! =)”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was probably 8. I was always around dogs, cats, and fish growing up. Some of my first jobs were pet-sitting and my clients would hire me year after year for additional pet-sitting. I am responsible, flexible, and an absolute animal lover. I am part time so I have a fairly flexible schedule. I’d love to incorporate pets into my life because I’ve missed pet sitting! I’m a very active person and would love to dog walk. I will always follow instructions if you have any specific details or concerns for your pet’s safety. Whether that be a medication for your pet or temperament issues, I’m ready.

About: Hi there! I'm Amanda and I would LOVE to care for your pup(s)! I have a special place in my heart for all dogs and care for them as if they were my own. I have experience with both small and large dogs. I currently don't have any dogs of my own, as I lost my sweet boxer ( Lucy ) a few years ago and my heart is not ready for another dog of my own, so let me love on your fur baby! I work from home and have the day to give your sweet pup the time and attention they deserve! I love taking them on walks and playing in my fenced in yard! Don't forget all the belly rubs! I have a large fenced in backyard, so plenty of room to play! Also, your fur baby is part of the family while staying here, so they will be able to join me for snuggles on the couch and feel right at home

About: I have had many pets growing up. I am a Mom to a 70 lb. lab mix who is now 14 years old. My pets have always been part of the family. I will treat your pet like family too! Beginning in February 2024, I am no longer available for mid-day appointments M-F. I am available for weekday walks and drop-in visits in the late afternoon/evenings only. Weekends I am available almost anytime. It would be my pleasure to walk your dog or drop-in for a playtime/potty break visit. I will do my best to accommodate your needs. I look forward to discussing how I can help provide your pet with the best care possible! I have extensive experience walking dogs of all shapes and sizes and abilities. We can meander the neighborhood and smell all the smells or we can take a more exercising approach and walk at a faster pace. Whatever your pet's needs and abilities are, I will work within those parameters.

“Jennifer is one in a million. We left our cat with my elderly mom for 3 months while we were in Florida. Jennifer made weekly visits to look in on Maizy. My mom looked forward to each and every visit and I'm happy to say they became friends. Jennifer is extremely kind and efficient. We had no worries about mom taking care of Maizy while we were gone. I would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“She was amazing and was able to come last minute! Very attentive and caring. Would definitely recommend!”

“Sarah is incredible! She has pet sit for my cat a few times now and every time I feel more comfortable and at ease with someone else taking care of my furbaby. I get personalized pictures and videos of her giving Boots affection and playing with her. Boots is particular about people and I can tell from the images that she is so comfortable with her. I will be sticking with Sarah for the long haul with any pets I have now, and in the future.”

“Shaune took very good care of my dog and cat! She was very thorough and spent lots of time with them. She also communicated with me frequently and sent lots of photos. I highly recommend Shaune!”

“Angie did a fantastic job with my pup. She was always in contact and took lots of pictures. He was so happy! She was so loving!”

“We reached out to Beth in the hopes of finding someone to bring our crazy dood to our wedding so we could have him in our pictures, after being turned down by multiple people for him being “too big” (65 pound goldendoodle) anyways! not only did our boy love her from the moment he saw her but so did we! After pictures she even took our boy for a pup cup and sent us the cutest pictures the entire time. We 100% will hire her again in the future!”

“Christopher and Cassandra really came through and helped my dogs and I urgently. They did everything perfectly and interacted with my dogs understanding each of their different personalities. Thank you so much!”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was ten but I’ve been doing it professionally for about 6 years now. I moved to the Westland area just recently. I have a pretty free schedule as of now so I was looking into walking dogs or doing drop ins to fill the time, I love animals so this was something that I was interested in to begin with. I just want to make sure the pet is well taken care of, food, water, walk/activity and keep in contact with the owner during the walks or sitting to make sure they know how their pet is doing. I text them and send pictures of the pet during the time i am caring for them

“Scott was amazing! He communicates professionally and promptly. I felt safe leaving our fur babies with him and would do it again. It was our first time vacationing without our dogs and while we don't mind taking them, I feel like we have someone who would take care of them like we would, if we're away. Thank you again Scott!”

About: I can’t have pets where I’m currently living and it breaks my heart. I miss being surrounded by dogs and cats. I fill that void by pet sitting! I love seeing and taking care of family and friends dogs. Going back to watch them is like visiting with a friend. I grew up with all sorts of animals - cats, dogs, and reptiles and amphibians! I love them all! I work part time but they are 8 hour shifts so certain days I’m gone for a majority of it. Working on getting a remote job but for now, I’ll be out a couple days a week. This would be a discussion with the pet owner but I’m a rule follower! I never want anything to happen to your pet on my watch - I can’t think of anything worse than having to tell someone something happened to their pet. Whatever care instructions you give me, I’ll follow.

About: I have been caring for animals of all kinds for as long as I can remember, especially love spending time with dogs. I am the proud owner of a rescue, she’s a 2 year old blue heeler / Dalmatian mix, sweet as can be and once she gets to know other dogs, she quickly becomes best friends with them. She has her fair share of sensitive tummy problems and previously had mange, but we have her back to full health, good as new, so you can be confident knowing I’ll take special care of your darling pup! I am working on-call and studying for my masters degree, so my time, aside from the class time, is very open and flexible. I will have a more established work schedule in the next few months, I just started the on-call position a few weeks ago. There is a whole heap of stuff to think about when it comes to safety of our dogs, big things would be making sure things they shouldn’t be eating or chewing on are out of reach. Another big thing is making sure I know the dogs personality, in other words, knowing how the dog acts when they are happy, nervous, sick, etc. This way I can properly inform you on how your dog is doing, not all dogs are the same, so getting to know the dog I’m sitting/walking is pretty important. My house has a 6 ft tall wooden fenced in yard with a pool, I will never let the dogs out unless I’m out there with them or at least keeping an eye on the pool area, so I know they are keeping away from the edge.

“Dawn has a very calm demeanor with humans and animals. She is knowledgeable on how to approach and handle dogs from her own experience of owning dogs, from caring for and walking other people's dogs, and from her son working at a veterinary office for many years. I have a senior greyhound who recently became a tripod, and Brigid has always taken wonderful care of her, even as her health and needs have changed. My plans have occasionally changed mid-trip and Brigid has always been very flexible and accommodating of those changes. I would highly recommend Brigid as a dog-sitter!”
