I worked at a kennel for almost two years, spent about 7 years in the in-home pet care industry and am now a zoo keeper here in MI! I have always loved animals, almost all the jobs I've had have been in the animal care industry in some way. My whole life revolves around providing animals with the highest quality of care and that is the way I like it! I've cared for pets off all ages, from puppies and kittens to senior pets. I am diligent and experienced when it comes to administering medication and I have an excellent eye for detail. I currently own a dog myself as well as a guinea pig. Owning pets and spending as much time as I have in the pet care industry has taught me exactly what pet owners want from their sitters. I take care to provide regular updates and pictures and am excellent when it comes to communication. When entering a client's home and caring for their pets I always think about what I would want as a pet owner. I also regularly get re-certified in dog and cat first aid. Any animal in my care will be in the best hands and I sincerely look forward to meeting your furry friends!

Safety, trust & environment
I only offer services in my client's home and not in my home. Being allowed into someone's home to care for their pet is something I take very seriously. It is important to me to respect everyone's privacy and communicate clearly how each visit is going so that I may build trust with all my clients. I only allow dogs to be off leash in fenced-in areas to ensure their safety and I am adept at reading an animals cues to know if they are comfortable with me in their space or not.

Taylor took care of our dogs and our home for over a week while we were away, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She kept in regular contact, sending updates and photos that made it easy to relax knowing everything was going well. It was clear she spent real quality time with the dogs, not just stopping by for the basics. They were happy, well cared for, and completely comfortable when we got back. Our house was also in great shape, which we really appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Taylor to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive pet sitter, and we’ll definitely be booking her again in the future.

Taylor is fantastic! She took wonderful care of out pets. She kept me updated and sent photos. We came home and found our pets extremely well cared for and house clean and orderly. The next time we travel I will ask Taylor to stay with our pets again.

Schedule
I currently work as a zookeeper so my schedule may change slightly from time to time. I know my schedule a few weeks in advance and can be flexible. I am happy to discuss my availability with any potential clients to see what works for us both.
