About: Hi! I’m Emily, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with pets. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with a beloved family member, so I treat every pet with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. Whether your pet loves adventures, belly rubs, or quiet companionship, I’m happy to tailor my care to their needs. I work part-time, which gives me flexibility to care for pets throughout the week. I’m available for drop-in visits before and after work, as well as evenings and weekends. I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability and make sure your pet receives reliable, consistent care while you’re away. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe and comfortable in their own home. I take the time to learn each cat’s routine and personality. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, keep food and water fresh, clean the litter box, provide playtime or cuddles as they’re comfortable with, and always make sure your home is secure before I leave. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away.
“Caili was so sweet and was amazing with our girls! She is extremely responsive and ensured my girls got the utmost level of care during her drop-ins. I will 100% use her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for care for their own fur babies! 💞”
“Jessica was amazing, responded straight away and was very responsible, she took great care of Gizmo and went above and beyond of what was asked, I would definitely recommend her and will be using her again in the future. Thank you Jessica, so glad I found you 😁 Mandy B”
“Kalyn is very understanding of dogs that may require some special care. She understands queues of dogs that may have anxiety meeting new people and is willing to take time and move slow with them. Very happy with her checking in on our dog.”

About: We have been life long animal lovers - raising a combined 30+ animals (both domestic and farm). We recently lost our 2 dogs, after raising them from puppies and cherishing every moment! Now with our kids, we've decided the best way to fill our hearts is by helping care for other families' beloved pets. With years of hands-on experience (and the added insight of having a father who's a large & small animal veterinarian), we bring both loving care & extra peace of mind to every walk, play session, and cuddle. We have two adults who work full-time from home, so our availability and presence within the house is very flexible. Our children are school aged (Kindergarten & 1st Grade) so they are home during non-school hours. The largest animals we have owned are Rottweilers down to most recently a Pomeranian, so experience in safety is vast! We have a fully fenced in yard (or fenced in deck if your animal prefers to be off the grass) - both offer plenty of shade for potty breaks outside. We have a dedicated dog room for safe sleep and rest - which is on the same floor as our normal living area and primary bedroom. We definitely consider pets & animals to be an extension of family and are treated as so - with attention and free roam of the home and furniture.

About: I understand that every dog is unique, so I take the time to get to know your furry friend’s needs, quirks, and preferences. My goal is to make your dog feel as comfortable and happy as they would at home, and give you peace of mind while you’re away. Hi, I’m Kelsey! I’m a passionate dog lover with experience caring for a variety of breeds and temperaments. I currently have a playful 3-year-old Mini Aussie Doodle, and in the past, I’ve had a Pit Mix and a Shepherd Mix, so I understand the unique needs of different dogs. Whether it’s an energetic pup or a more laid-back companion, I’m here to make sure your furry friend is happy and well-cared for. I work from home and am available for midday visits, evenings, weekends, and special occasions. My priority is to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and well-cared for at all times. “We highly recommend Sarah. She communicated with us all the time and sent photos. Most of all she was so accommodating when we ran into issues with our travel plans. We will definitely use her again if she's available”

About: Dogs have always been in the family since I was 8 and my dog’s name is Riley. He’s a German shepherd mix. He’s been my running buddy for years. I like to go on walks and runs and would love bring some buddies along with me! I can also bring any dogs that require a bit more exercise to the dog park for some runs. I have fenced yard with plenty of space for runs and a ranch style home for any older pups who don’t like to climb stairs.
“Olivia was amazing! She checked on our elderly cat for a week while we were away, made sure he got his meds, and even sent us daily photos, which we loved. It was such a relief knowing our fur baby was in good hands. Super reliable and so sweet—we’d definitely ask her again!”

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have both experience with dogs ( all sizes) and cats as well. I am very active also, and I like to take dogs for a walk. I can play, hug, and give much love to your pet. In Florida, I used to be a volunteer at the local shelter and rescued organizations as well. I am also Bilingual English-Spanish. I work in the office and sometimes remote, finish by 5PM . When I am remote I have more flexibility -Mondays and Fridays usually. I have weekends for myself, but visit my grandchildren usually few hours on Saturday. I can walk dogs everyday in the afternoon and provide daily exercise. Just contact me and we can work it out. When I go to the clients home I will follow their directions. I will come happy to do what I love the most. In my home, I have an adult cat very friendly and lonely, but I can arrange the situation in case my service is needed to have the pet in my home. We can always study the situation and talk about it.
“Matthew was extremely punctual, polite and caring with my two canine daughters. Thank you for putting my mind at ease while I was traveling. I will definitely contact you again when needed.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
