Hi! I’m Melanie — a lifelong animal lover and dedicated pet caregiver. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s truly my passion. I’ve been the go-to pet sitter and dog walker in my neighborhood since I was 12 years old, and now at 24, I can’t imagine doing anything else! Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of every size and personality — from energetic Great Danes to shy rescues and everything in between. I also have plenty of experience with cats and understand their unique personalities and needs. Whether your pet is a big goofball, a little timid, or bursting with energy, I meet them right where they are with patience, understanding, and love. I am also CPR & First Aid Certified for both dogs and cats, I feel like that’s incredibly important to know for our fur babies. At home, I’m a proud pet mom to a lovable pitbull mix and a charming tuxedo cat — my pride and joy. They’ve taught me so much about the unconditional love animals bring into our lives, and I treat every pet I meet as if they were my own. When your furry family member is with me, you can trust that they’ll be safe, happy, and loved. I will care for your fur babies like they are my own! I will love them, make sure they get food and fresh water and of course treats! I will take them for long walks and play with them so they are happy and ready for you when you get home.

Schedule
I currently work part time working very minimum hours a week at a dog park, so I am available majority of the time. I will always try my absolute best to accommodate your schedule and be there for your fur babies! Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you might have. :)

- 1. Does your pet have any medical conditions or allergies? 2. What’s their normal daily routine like? 3. How does your pet behave around new people, dogs, or other animals? 4. Are they crate trained or house trained? 5. How do they behave on leash? (Pulling, reactivity, distractions) 6. Any history of aggression, fear, or anxiety triggers? 7. Are they okay to be left alone? How long if so? 8 Are treats allowed? What’s their favorite? I like to learn as much as possible about your pet’s routine, health, and personality before we book. It helps me keep things consistent and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for — just like they do with you!
