It helps me keep things consistent and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for — just like they do with you!
A typical day
I would take them on a long, leisurely walk to explore new trails and parks! Dogs love exploring new places and smelling new scents. I would love to play fetch with them, and maybe even try and teach them some new tricks in our free time!

Hi! I’m Melanie — a lifelong animal lover and dedicated pet caregiver. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s truly my passion. I’ve been the go-to pet sitter and dog walker in my neighborhood since I was 12 years old, and now at 24, I can’t imagine doing anything else! Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of every size and personality — from energetic Great Danes to shy rescues and everything in between. I also have plenty of experience with cats and understand their unique personalities and needs. Whether your pet is a big goofball, a little timid, or bursting with energy, I meet them right where they are with patience, understanding, and love. I am also CPR & First Aid Certified for both dogs and cats, I feel like that’s incredibly important to know for our fur babies. At home, I’m a proud pet mom to a lovable pitbull mix and a charming tuxedo cat — my pride and joy. They’ve taught me so much about the unconditional love animals bring into our lives, and I treat every pet I meet as if they were my own. When your furry family member is with me, you can trust that they’ll be safe, happy, and loved. I’ll make sure they get plenty of playtime, cuddles, and care — and I’ll keep you updated every step of the way. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pet and make their day a little brighter. 🌟
