About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for them is basically second nature to me. I’m the kind of person who baby-talks every animal I see, stops to say hello to every pup on a walk, and ends up in the corner of a party hanging out with the host’s pet instead of socializing with the humans. Friends, family, and even complete strangers have told me for years that I should have gone into veterinary medicine because of how naturally I connect with animals. Instead, I work in a hospital laboratory helping people. It’s fulfilling, but there’s nothing quite like a healthy dose of puppy cuddles. This year, I lost both of my girls, and their absence has left a huge hole in my heart. My home is much quieter without them, and I have a whole lot of love with nowhere to go. About: My pet care journey all started a few years ago when my grandparents got two very young puppies at the same time. I helped care for them whilst my grandparents were away. Through my experience, I realized that emotional care needs are just as important as physical care needs for dogs. A main focus of mine is establishing an emotional connection with my clients, gaining their trust, therefore elevating their care experience. Throughout the years, I was also my aunt’s senior dog Coco’s primary caregiver when she traveled for work. She has some mobility issues in which I assisted her with, as well as administering her medication. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I used to go over to my neighbors house to play with their German Shepard before finally convincing my parents to get a dog of our own.
