About: Hello! I’m Grace aka the dog whisperer 😊 Caring for dogs is truly my passion, both at home and professionally. I have two dogs of my own, one who is two years old and one who is eleven, so I’m very familiar with the different needs, energy levels, temperaments, and care styles that come with both puppies/young adults and senior dogs. Aside from that, I have a rescue dog of my own who is two years old. I currently work as a canine care specialist and kennel attendant, where I care for dogs every day of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. From very small dogs to large breeds like Great Danes and Great Pyrenees, I’m comfortable handling a wide range of needs. My responsibilities include feeding, potty breaks, safe socialization, and making sure each dog is comfortable, secure, and well cared for. I approach every dog with patience, compassion, and attentiveness, and I always treat them as if they were my own. My goal is to provide loving, reliable care that helps both pets and owners feel at ease. Pet care is already a part of my everyday routine, both personally and professionally. I work in the pet care field during the week, so caring for animals is something I do daily and genuinely enjoy. At this time, my availability is primarily on weekends, which are generally open unless I communicate otherwise in advance. I’m very upfront about my schedule and always make sure expectations are clear so pets receive consistent, attentive care. Because pet care is already a major part of my life, I’m comfortable building it into my routine and giving each dog the time, patience, and attention they deserve. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, loving, and secure environment. Exercise and playtime are a big part of my approach to care. I make sure each dog gets appropriate physical activity and mental stimulation based on their age, energy level, and routine. Along with plenty of play and affection, I stay consistent with the basics, regular feeding, fresh water at all times, and close attention to each pet’s needs and behavior. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with complete respect. I follow all instructions carefully, maintain routines, and make sure the home is left just as it was found. I believe trust is earned through reliability, communication, and genuine care, and I always strive to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and at ease.

About: Animals have always been a part of my life and family. Their smiles and wagging tails bring me joy, so I make sure they have just as much joy in their lives as they bring me! Here are a few highlights from my rich fur filled life: I have had to care for a litter of kittens whose mother had passed way before weening her babies. At which, I had to administer special formula and attend to each of the 5 kittens until maturity. We currently still have two of the five, the other three had been rehomed. I was in charge of providing care for a dog whose previous human caregivers were abusive drug addicts. He was skiddish and timid, had a problem with floor and chair wetting when he slept, and was quick to tense up if he sensed any hostility in a room. He stayed with me for the majority of a year, in which I had him accustomed better to human contact and interaction. The wetting issue, I had discovered, was a combination of his age and anxiety, and cleared up to only a few isolated incidents after the time he was with me. He is now with a loving family whose son is very active in engaging with him and playing with him on a daily basis. I now currently babysit a husky in my home every other weekend. She gets along great with my dogs and cat, and is the perfect couch snuggler. I also do house visits for my friends domestic short-hair cat when she works late or out of town. My dog of 8 years had a litter of 10 puppies a couple years ago. We had to give her a special high protein and fiber diet with 6 feeding times a day due to her major weight loss and diarrhea while whelping. Within a couple weeks, she was back up to a healthy weight and bathroom schedule and could nurse all 10 puppies with no assistance. I helped deliver of 8 of the 10 puppies, one of which had to be given CPR to be revived, as he had fluid in his lungs. He has since been rehomed to a great family and is living his best life with a toddler as his bestest friend! He makes his grandma proud. I am currently working part-time, so afternoons and evenings on Thurs, Fri, and Mon are available and can be spent taking care of any of your fur child's needs. Mornings and afternoons may become available as my schedule changes. I can also work in house visits and overnight stays if necessary. I have a cottage style home in which the back yard is completely fenced in, and a finished and climate controlled basement with a gate if seclusion is needed for shy or nervous babies. There are plenty of soft areas for animals to lounge on. I also have extra bowls for food and water in case there are specific dietary restrictions and a client needs his/her own eating area. The neighborhood I live in has many sidewalked areas ideal for walks around it, and my location is only a couple blocks from Bloomer Park.

She sent me lots of pictures videos and kept me posted the entire time. Very professional, courteous and empathetic! Highly recommended.”

About: I have taken care of multiple dogs for both my friends and family. My experience ranges from small dogs to BIG dogs, including watching and taking care of multiple at a time. I work from home full time so if the need is to watch a pet for a few hours, a whole day or a whole week or more I am very flexible and can do my full time job from anywhere with internet. I unfortunately cannot care for pets in my home as my family has allergies but I am happy to care for them over at your house, make sure they feel comfortable, loved and make sure they aren’t alone for long periods of time.

From the very start, she was extremely friendly, kind, and communicative. She sent us regular, detailed updates (with photos and videos) so we always knew how Steyr was doing. She truly cared for him like he was her own—playing with him, working on training and enrichment activities, and making sure he had a consistent routine. She even kept track of his eating, bathroom habits, and any changes in behavior or health, letting us know right away if something seemed off. Her attentiveness gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Angelique was also incredibly respectful of our home, leaving everything in perfect condition. She handled the occasional puppy challenges (chewing, playful nips, bathroom accidents) with patience, understanding, and kindness.
