“Julie was so great with Leo! This was our first time ever boarding him and using Rover. Leo came home a happy and tired pup (from playing so much!). You could tell he had alot of fun playing with the other dogs. Julie was great about keeping in touch and sending us pictures. We will definitely use Julie again next time we are out of town.”

About: Hi, I’m Daniella.. a busy West Bloomfield mom of three with two super-friendly dogs (Fluffy and Frankie!) who absolutely love making new furry friends. I provide premium, reliable in-home pet care in a safe, structured, and loving environment where your pet is treated like part of the family. Our home is full of life, laughter, playtime, and plenty of attention; perfect for dogs who thrive on companionship. With my medical assisting background, I’m confident administering oral medications, monitoring health needs, and giving that extra TLC. Whether it’s daily walks, play sessions, or just cozy couch cuddles, I’ll keep your pet happy, safe, and entertained while you’re away. Let me give your fur baby the personalized care they deserve in our lively family home. Message me to chat or schedule a meet & greet! I’d love to meet you and your pet! As a stay-at-home mom of three in West Bloomfield, I’m home the majority of the day, which lets me give your pet consistent attention, care, and companionship. Aside from quick school drop-offs and pick-ups, my schedule is very flexible for walks, playtime, or overnight stays. Pets in my care are rarely left alone! Because I’m home most of the day as a homemaker, pets in my care are rarely left alone and always supervised. I follow each pet’s individual routine as closely as possible; including feeding schedules, medication (I’m experienced with oral meds from my medical assisting background), potty breaks, and play. In our lively family home with two friendly dogs (Fluffy & Frankie), your pet will enjoy a safe, loving environment full of structure, affection, and attention. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac with very little traffic, so supervised playtime in the neighborhood (or long 30-foot leash when needed) is a favorite for burning energy safely. I prioritize a calm yet fun atmosphere with constant monitoring.
“Andrew took very good care of Piston. He sent regular updates with pictures. Walked him several times. Piston seemed very happy during his stay. Would definitely book again”

“We left our 2 year old Golden Retriever (Toby) with Amanda for 10 days while on vacation. Amanda was super flexible and did an excellent job keeping us up-to-date on how he was doing. Highly recommend and will be using again.”

“Kathy was fantastic. We had her watch our pup when we were in town for a wedding. She took time to understand our dog's personality and his particular needs. She send a couple of updates. We were very impressed by her understanding that being away from home and your people can be a little tough on pups. She gave Dooley space and let him warm up to her. Thanks, Kathy. We highly recommend!”

About: Over the years, I've built lasting relationships with pet families who trust me with their most precious companions. I've also cared for my own pets through major life transitions, health challenges, and everything in between. This extensive experience has taught me that every pet is an individual with specific needs, preferences, and quirks that deserve personalized attention and love. I work full-time on a hybrid schedule. Monday through Wednesday I am gone for 8 hours, but always have time in the evening for pet care and walking. Thursday through Sunday I am home and would love to give your fur baby lots of attention and walks. I am an avid walker and love to have a companion come on walks with me. I live in a condo with no fenced yard, but there is plenty of green space and its a great area for taking long walks. I recently lost my two fur babies, but would love to care for your fur baby when needed.
“Great stay for Kenzy! She took really amazing care of my little man! He really enjoyed himself! She kept me up to date with pics and videos. Since we have been home he misses his interactions with CoCo! I would highly recommend! We will be returning boarders with her!”

“Michele was great with our dog, Boston! She sent pictures, played/walked with him, and met his needs really well. We would definitely have her watch Boston again!”
“Super nice and accommodating pet sitter! This was the first time we had boarded our cat with another cat and everything worked out really well. Would definitely consider Pavlina in the future.”

“Laura was amazing! Her house was spotless and tidy, so there was nothing for our pups to get into. The pups had a large yard to run around in. She sent us daily updates from their walks to the lake, so our dogs got really good exercise while with Laura. We were so happy with her, that we actually recommended her to a friend, while our dogs were still there! We will use her again 100% for our next out of town trip. She even went above and beyond, as one of our Frenchies got a paw infection 2 days before out trip. Laura administered medicine and even did epsom salt soaks on her paw. We could not be happier with how our dogs were taken care of.”

“Jen was amazing!! I was super comfortable with leaving Charlie in her care. She sent pics and updates which is so comforting when you have to leave your fur baby in the care of someone else. I would 100% book her again!”

“My husband and I just got a new puppy, we had to go out of the state for the weekend, so we decided to use Rover app to book for a sitter that could take good care of our puppy. Dana and her husband did an amazing job at taking care of our dog, she went out of her way to make him feel good. Our doggy was having some trouble getting used to his new environment and he wasn’t eating, we left worried but Dana did such a good job that for the next morning our puppy was feeling a lot more comfortable with the environment. I definitely recommend her. She will take good care of your dog.”

Nick did a fantastic job with Sterling. He sent pics and updates, as this was the first time Sterling went to in-home boarding. Sterling by nature is a bit anxious but he seemed relaxed and comfortable with the other dogs. It meant the world to us to know he was in good hands and socializing with some furry friends. We will definitely be using Nick’s services again!

Brenda and her husband Adam were amazing with our pups! My Greater Swiss Mountain Dog can intimidate some people because of his 150 lb size, but they didn’t even bat an eye. And my Havanese became her bff for the week. Brenda works from home and I knew that would be good since they would need extra attention while we were gone. She went out of her way to make them comfortable and help the feel safe. Pictures showed them lounging around just like they were at home. I will definitely book with Brenda again next time!
Melonie took exceptional care of Sasha. She was very communicative and sent plenty of pictures and videos. She was very thorough with walks and paid special attention to Sasha’s vitamins with her meals. This was my first time using Rover and I’m glad I booked with Melonie, highly recommend!

Jacklyn was absolutely wonderful with Ruby! From the moment we met, she was warm, professional, and clearly has a true love for animals. She kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. Ruby came home happy, well cared for, and clearly enjoyed her time with Jacklyn. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
