“Daisy LOVED her time with Amie & her family. Amie was so kind and updated me throughout the stay. Daisy had the best Thanksgiving with Amie’s puppies. Thank you so much for taking such great care of her!!! Highly recommend Amie ❤️”

“Andrew was great with our puppy! Andrew was a kind, sincere person. He visited prior to sitting for our puppy. He asked good questions about feeding, bathroom, and play time. Our puppy seemed to enjoy being with him and we appreciated his care for her. We highly recommend Andrew!”

“This was our first time using a pet sitter on Rover, and Christina made the experience wonderful! She was quick and easy to book on semi-short notice. Her communication was great, and she kept us updated throughout the week with pictures of our pup. We will definitely plan to use Christina for all our future pet sitting needs!”

About: Over the years, I've built lasting relationships with pet families who trust me with their most precious companions. I've also cared for my own pets through major life transitions, health challenges, and everything in between. This extensive experience has taught me that every pet is an individual with specific needs, preferences, and quirks that deserve personalized attention and love. I work full-time on a hybrid schedule. Monday through Wednesday I am gone for 8 hours, but always have time in the evening for pet care and walking. Thursday through Sunday I am home and would love to give your fur baby lots of attention and walks. I am an avid walker and love to have a companion come on walks with me. I live in a condo with no fenced yard, but there is plenty of green space and its a great area for taking long walks. I recently lost my two fur babies, but would love to care for your fur baby when needed.
“My dog doesn’t have much boarding experience, so I was a bit worried at first. But Leah kept me updated with photos and messages about Koorie, which allowed me to enjoy my trip without stress. I was especially touched that she even let Koorie sleep on her bed. I really appreciated her kindness and care!”

About: Hi, I’m Daniella.. a busy West Bloomfield mom of three with two super-friendly dogs (Fluffy and Frankie!) who absolutely love making new furry friends. I provide premium, reliable in-home pet care in a safe, structured, and loving environment where your pet is treated like part of the family. Our home is full of life, laughter, playtime, and plenty of attention; perfect for dogs who thrive on companionship. With my medical assisting background, I’m confident administering oral medications, monitoring health needs, and giving that extra TLC. Whether it’s daily walks, play sessions, or just cozy couch cuddles, I’ll keep your pet happy, safe, and entertained while you’re away. Let me give your fur baby the personalized care they deserve in our lively family home. Message me to chat or schedule a meet & greet! I’d love to meet you and your pet! As a stay-at-home mom of three in West Bloomfield, I’m home the majority of the day, which lets me give your pet consistent attention, care, and companionship. Aside from quick school drop-offs and pick-ups, my schedule is very flexible for walks, playtime, or overnight stays. Pets in my care are rarely left alone! Because I’m home most of the day as a homemaker, pets in my care are rarely left alone and always supervised. I follow each pet’s individual routine as closely as possible; including feeding schedules, medication (I’m experienced with oral meds from my medical assisting background), potty breaks, and play. In our lively family home with two friendly dogs (Fluffy & Frankie), your pet will enjoy a safe, loving environment full of structure, affection, and attention. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac with very little traffic, so supervised playtime in the neighborhood (or long 30-foot leash when needed) is a favorite for burning energy safely. I prioritize a calm yet fun atmosphere with constant monitoring.
“Anna did a great job was little Maizie, she is only 7lbs, but Anna’s Ruby was so sweet to her 🥰 Anna was really attentive to Maizie’s eating habits - she is a picky eater and was able to eat her full meal by day two, would love to rebook with Anna again.”

“Susan did a fantastic job watching our GSP, Missy. Missy is a little anxious & nervous, and Susan knew just how to handle her. Susan provided frequent updates and pictures which assured us she was in good hands. In addition, Susan was graciously flexible with drop off and pickup times since we were working around our DTW flights. Thank you so much Susan! We will definitely consider you again for watching our Missy!”

“Dena and her family took amazing care of our Lilli! Communication, flexibility and just being amazing people were 5-star!!!!! We had a very nervous out of town fur baby mama in our midst and Dena’s caring attitude even won her over!! Thank you for taking such great care of our Lilli! We will certainly be back when we bring Lilli back to Michigan to hang out with our beautiful grands!”

“Sogol was nice, kind, thoughtful helpful, caring.... I could go on and on. She not only took great care of O.C., she sent pictures regularly and informative updates almost hourly! "Thank you" is not enough. Sogol is wonderful.”

“Melonie took exceptional care of Sasha. She was very communicative and sent plenty of pictures and videos. She was very thorough with walks and paid special attention to Sasha’s vitamins with her meals. This was my first time using Rover and I’m glad I booked with Melonie, highly recommend!”

“Holly is fantastic! She is super attentive, caring and treated my dogs like royalty during their stay. Holly makes it her business to get to know your dog’s behaviors and needs. She is very understanding to special needs/requests, as our dogs can be “challenging” at times. She takes the time to leash walk and exercise the dogs several times throughout the day on her expansive private property. Also plenty of relaxing cuddle time too. Her love and joy for animals is very clear.”

“Every cell of concern and worry about leaving my dog for the first time for a few days with A C. was immediately removed with their kindness, concern, attention to details and constant pictures, communications and videos during his time with them. He arrived home well exercised, calm and cared for! I recommend them highly and will use them many times! again!”

Great stay for Kenzy! She took really amazing care of my little man! He really enjoyed himself! She kept me up to date with pics and videos. Since we have been home he misses his interactions with CoCo! I would highly recommend! We will be returning boarders with her!

Outstanding stay with Ash. Right from the beginning he was great with Ace and safely had him meet another dog he was boarding . Throughout the stay he kept me well informed with pictures and texts , and he constantly took him for walks and provided great care. Would recommend and will use again!

Sam is the BEST!! Period. We always book with him if we can't bring our dog Luke with us. He truly cares for Luke like he is his own. Sam is really great about making sure if there is more than one dog to make sure they interact well and if they need to be separate or not. He truly gets to know your dog and their needs. Plus, his big back yard is one of our dogs favorites!! He always gets excited when we turn down his street. I will always book with Sam!!

Michelle is always amazing with my dogs!! They get so excited when we are arriving at her house and they always come home happy. I love knowing that they are also enjoying a little vacation while I’m away, and I enjoy the “vacation” photos Michelle sends me while I’m away. Amazing experience all around for dogs and owners. 🙂

Felisha was so kind to take our pup last minute! We appreciated her flexibility and friendliness. She communicated with us in a timely fashion while we were away on our trip. She seemed to know how to read dogs' behavior, and was very attentive to Rosie's needs. My pup even had a built in playmate with Freya 😊. Rosie came home happy and well-cared for. Thank you Felisha!

Karen and her husband were honestly the most kindest people I’ve ever met. My family normally takes our dog Lola everywhere we go but wasn’t allowed to bring her to Florida with us for our daughter soccer tournament so she stayed with Karen for 8 days. I didn’t worry about Lola at all because not only was she happy to be at Karen’s I knew she was completely safe.

Julie and Ari got along great. So did Julie's dog Ernie. Julie was very able to handle our timid dog's special care and meds. Very affectionate w Ari, and sent pictures of Ari's daily life which showed a relaxed dog. She was also accommodating to our schedule needs which changed before the boarding. I felt comfortable w Ari in Julie's care and will not hesitate to hire her again.

She was amazing with my Ivan pup needing a last min sitter for new years eve!! I received multiple pictures throughout the night and next day as well as updates how he was doing! She took him on multiple walks and he actually ate a lot of his food!!! He normally eats almost nothing when we travel with him. The multiple walks wore him out and he's done nothing but nap since we've gotten home with him! I will always use Ivona anytime I'm in the area and need a sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
