My kids have been begging for another, but for now, we’ve decided to channel our love for animals into caring for yours! My kids and I are here to provide plenty of attention, belly rubs, and care while you’re away. Between my husband, who works from home full-time, and me being a stay-at-home mom, there’s always someone here to care for your pet. Our flexible schedules allow us to provide consistent care, making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and right at home. We have a spacious, fenced-in backyard, perfect for playtime and fresh air. Our neighborhood is also great for walks, offering plenty of safe and scenic routes. If your pet is crate-trained, I’m happy to accommodate that, but we also have the flexibility to let them roam freely in our home. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so whether they’re staying with us or I’m caring for them in your home, I’ll follow your routines and rules to make them feel as comfortable as possible.

About: Growing up both my wife and I have always had pets in our homes. My family and I love animals. I grew up around cats and my wife grew up around dogs and between the two of us we have decades of experience. We currently have a dog and 3 cats living with us. We got our puppy when he was only 4 months old and I am comfortable with the demands of caring for such a young puppy and making sure their needs are met. We also believe in force free training of our pets and our puppy has been through professional training classes (both puppy manners and teenage manners) so we are comfortable providing our knowledge and expertise to your pet! Our cats are very aloof but we separate them when there are new pets in the home. Safety of our pets and yours is very important to us! Our cats have access to their food, water, and litter upstairs and away from new puppy friends so all the animals have a stress free time while your puppy stays with us. We are calm and patient people. We have both grown up with animals and understand that accidents happen. We provide frequent potty breaks during the day, encourage breaks in play time, and plenty of mental stimulation. We love taking your puppy for a walk or throwing a ball around to get out some energy. My wife works a hybrid workweek and we have a 16 year old who loves animals. Your pet will be deeply cared for. We love giving pets and snuggles and loving on your puppy. I have baby gates and a portable crate on hand (for large pups!). I have a fenced in yard and a friendly pup for yours to play with. Our puppy sleeps with us at night and is allowed on our couches but if that is not ok for your puppy we are comfortable following your rules, including crating at night.

About: Taking care of dogs is a balm for my soul. I've had and been around them for as long as I remember. I've studied animal behaviors and have been the local dog whisperer when their owners had questions. I am a calm presence and attentive to their individual needs. I work from home, up at 6 am, walks around noon. Depending on the weather, we could be outside all day. Everyday is different, I plan accordingly. We have a very spacious home, and we're used to dogs in the house. We have a huge yard with some fencing, a pond, and a short trail in the woods from the driveway. Despite the open yard, I will make the determination to how much freedom your dog can enjoy. If they listen and don't run away, will have free reign in my yard.

About: What sets me apart is the level of personalized care and attention I give every dog. I take the time to understand their routines, personalities, and needs so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I treat every pup like family, keep communication open with regular updates and photos, and make sure their time with me feels like a vacation, not a separation. I am away from home about 2-4 hours on any weekday as I am back in school. I am usually home on the weekends and will be sure to adjust my schedule as needed for any dog's requirements during their stays. Any dogs in my care will get a ton of attention and I will learn their nuances. I will stick strictly to any instructions provided to me by the pet's parents and otherwise just make sure they have a good time and don't get into any trouble.

About: From a young age, I was the main caretaker in our home for our dogs due to my lifelong love for animals, and warm caretaking skills. I was responsible for training and walking with our dogs (multiple at a time), feeding, medication administration, and physical therapy for my dog with arthritis. I have a deep respect for non-human animals and that is reflected through the way I treat them and live my life. I work from home on my own schedule, so my availability is very open. At times I need to leave home to teach yoga classes or run errands, but can easily work with a pet parent's schedule. With immense love and thoughtfulness, I ensure the safety and happiness of any animal under my care. My home is free of children and pets, and I ensure that food is kept in cabinets and plants that are harmful to pets are kept out of reach. My home is small, so it is easy for me to constantly keep an eye on your pet. I also have a walk-out porch so we can easily go outside at any time. My apartment neighborhood has a beautiful nature path where we can take multiple walks throughout the day. I personally go on daily walks despite the weather, so I am prepared to walk with your dog as much as they like and is healthy for them.
