About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm, and at one point we had 12 indoor dogs, from tiny Yorkies to Great Danes. They were never “just pets” to us; they were family, and that’s how I’ve always believed animals should be treated. I’ve also cared for cats and have experience dog sitting, so I’m comfortable looking after pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll care for yours the same way I’d care for my own. I take classes two days a week and spend the rest of my time at home, so I have a flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of attention and care. I'm also available most weekends, making it easy to accommodate a variety of pet care needs. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for by following their usual routine as closely as possible. I'll follow all feeding, medication, and exercise instructions provided by the owner and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I don't have any pets of my own at the moment, so I truly enjoy spending time with animals and giving them the love and companionship they deserve. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

“Arden is hands down the best kitty sitter we have ever found on Rover! She is responsible, communicative and most importantly, will love your pet like her own. Thank you Arden, we hope to see you again soon!”

I take the time to understand their routines, personalities, and needs so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I am away from home about 2-4 hours on any weekday as I am back in school. I am usually home on the weekends and will be sure to adjust my schedule as needed for any dog's requirements during their stays. Any dogs in my care will get a ton of attention and I will learn their nuances. I will stick strictly to any instructions provided to me by the pet's parents and otherwise just make sure they have a good time and don't get into any trouble.
“This is the second time we've hired Brit to take care of our elderly cat, and both experiences have been great! I very much appreciate Brit's willingness to be flexible with last-minute schedule changes and that she communicates with us regularly. She clearly loves working with pets, and I highly recommend her.”

About: I’m a girl that enjoys spending my free time with furry friends! I have 10+ years of experience working pets of all kinds. Family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors rely on me for their pet sitting needs, and I have experience as a vet assistant, kennel technician, and veterinary receptionist. I am currently working on my undergrad to become a Veterinary Technician as well :) I am available for dog walking, house check-ins, potty time and bathing/nail trims on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday's after 5pm. I have open availability for all services on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday's. Caring for pets whether they're canines or felines in my home or at a client's home is very important. As always, they will have access to water at all times, receive their meals and medications (will be documented to keep track), and be loved as if they're my own. All pets will go potty regularly, spend time doing enrichment activities and go on walks to stretch their legs. Regarding our kitty friends, their litter boxes will be checked twice a day to ensure urine and bowel production, and they will receive the same care as our pups.
“Alyssa was lovely to work with and made me feel much more at peace leaving my fur babies for the week. Everything was just as I left it when I returned and my kitties were happy. My cats are very shy around new people and seemed to come right out to check out Alyssa. Seems to show her animal loving nature and it was much appreciated throughout the week! I’ll definitely be reaching back out if I go away again! 10/10 recommend 😊”

“Ashley was good with our cats and dog, and was always easy to reach! Her communication was great and she sent pictures, too. I will definitely book Ashley again. Thank you, Ashley!”
About: I have had pets pretty much my entire life so I have plenty of experience, particularly with cats. My family is known as the neighbourhood pet sitters, watching dogs, cats, a hamster, and even a bearded dragon. I am a stay-at-home mom of older kids. That allows me plenty of flexibility to drop in for pet visits and dog walking as needed. Since I have my own vehicle, I can drop in easily to check on your baby (or babies). I love taking long walks, so if you have a dog who loves to walk, I am happy to go along for the ride.
“Maria was available on short notice and did an amazing job. I was heading out of town and she not only came over for a meet & greet the night of the booking, but she was able to check in on my dogs over the upcoming weekend.”
About: I've taken care of my dog for 12 years. Even though she has now passed, my love for dogs has not changed. I would care for your dog as if they were my own. I'm currently available anytime to love on your fur babies I currently live in a house (no gate), which also has a dog park in the nearby. I have a large field where the dog can play and we can go on walks. I also have a cat who is very friendly and will most likely just run away. I am currently not working, so i am available to take care of your fur baby. I love to take them on multiple walks, play outside with my son and overall spoil with love. Taking care and showing love to your fur baby is very important to me. I think of it like a mother leaving her child, you want to be able yo trust what you love the most is safe!
About: I have 14 years of experience in caring for pets. I currently have a Pomeranian and chihuahua pup of my own! I’ve grown up with many different breeds of dogs including ACD’s, a yorkie, a puggle & chihuahua mixes. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their pets over the years being responsible for feeding, walking, bathing, training and administering medications. I have trained 3 puppies as well as cared for two blind senior dogs. I have even cared for a rescued baby squirrel! I absolutely love dogs and would do anything to ensure that they are properly cared for. I am a foster parent for Almost Home Animal Rescue and absolutely love rescuing pups in need. I also grew up with cats and absolutely love them! I have cared for 3+ cats and rescued a kitten from my previous neighborhood! I’m currently working part time and my partner currently works from home most days so my schedule is very flexible for care. I am available weekdays except for Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings, as I coach a dance team during that time. We currently reside in a house in Farmington Hills with a huge fenced in backyard. The house has been puppy proofed as we approved foster parents with Almost Home Animal Rescue. When caring for a new pet, I always make sure to give them a comfortable and positive experience with me.
About: Hi! I’m so excited to help care for your furry friends. I have two cats of my own that are great around other animals. I grew up around larger dogs (black lab, English shepherd, labradoodle) but am comfortable with pups of all sizes. I frequently dog sit for a few of my friends who have medium/large dogs and I’ve also watched over birds, rodents, and reptiles. I’m comfortable administering medication when needed and caring for pets with special needs. I would love to care for your pets at your place! Ask me anything, and let me know if I’d be a good fit for caring for your fur babies! I work as a teacher, so I am able to check in on pets in the early morning and early afternoon-night on weekdays. On the weekends and during the summer I can spend as much time as you’d like with your pet. :) I have a lot of experience babysitting and pet-sitting in others’ homes, and I will always respect your space and belongings. You can expect me to leave your place clean and your pets happy and loved.

Edimari is extremely sweet and professional when it comes to taking care of your pup! She helped me on short notice when I was leaving the country, and helped keep my anxious dog happy and healthy while I was gone. She went above and beyond for me doing drop in visits while also ensuring my house was in order. She is reliable, punctual and had great communication while I was away. I could not be more happy with the service she provided!! Thank you again Edimari and I will definitely be booking you again.

Lauren was EXCELLENT! Sometimes when I'm not home my little old lady dog refuses to eat, but Lauren got her to eat almost her full bowl every meal! And, bless her heart, I'm worried about letting my dogs out at night because of a skunk in my yard... Lauren went out there every night with the flashlight and made noise to scare the skunk away. She truly went above and beyond! She is very knowledgeable about animals of all kinds and she was super sweet. My dogs absolutely loved her. We will definitely be booking her again. Thank you Lauren!

Aixa, was very responsive and made a special trip to meet me and Luna that Saturday before her appointment. Luna takes a while to get used to new people and Aixa was very patient with her and able to coax Luna into her harness and take her for a long walk. Aixa sent very detailed updates and even video footage! I will definitely use her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
