About: I’d love the opportunity to take care of your pet! I love dogs and cats, and have one cat of my own. :) I currently care for family and friends pets when they are out of town, but would love to add a few more pets to my schedule for boarding/drop-ins or walks. I am responsible & reliable and will treat your pet with much love and care! My current availability is evenings after work and weekends. During the summer months (mid June, July, August) my availability is open and I can provide pet care any time. I will follow all directions and give your pets the same love and care I give my sweet babies at home! I am reliable and respectful of others home & pets. You can count on me to take excellent care of your pets!
About: I grew up having dogs in my home and in my family. I’m experienced in caring for dogs that are diabetic or pre diabetic. I will care for your fur babies like they’re my own and make them feel at home. They will get plenty love and attention while they are in my care. I currently work on Monday through Thursday and at home on Fridays. I will always make sure your fur baby is cared for as directed. I have a fenced in yard and we will also go on walks. I like to get dogs out even if we go for treats.
“Thank you Brit for taking amazing care of my Diesel. I appreciate how Brit personalized care of my almost 15 year old yorkie. The updates were great and allowed Diesel to get his exercise in and make new fur-friends! I will definitely reach out the next time I need boarding for Diesel.”

“This was my first experience using Rover. What a wonderful experience it was knowing my lil man was very well taken care of in the comfort of a loving home. Will definitely be using Julie again on our next trip. Thank you for taking such great care of Brodi and for all the updates and photos during his stay💙”

“Meredith was super kind, lovely and made my little Bichon Frisé felt totally at home. She updated me with videos and pictures constantly even describing how my little one was feeling each day. Definitely I’ll book Meredith again, she is the best!”

“We felt very comfortable leaving Wallace with Brittany. There were a couple minor issues we forgot to let her know were normal for him and she contacted us right away with her concerns. He came home happy and healthy. Thank you!”

“Steven was a great sitter. I was a little nervous at first but Steven sent daily pictures and videos, I was able to see Raven become more relaxed and comfortable each day. I was very satisfied and would definitely book Steven again and recommend him to others.”

“I would highly recommend Dawn’s services with Rover. During the Meet and Greet, she thoroughly answered all of our questions and addressed any concerns. She sent updates during our dog’s stay, which gave us peace of mind. She made the drop off and pickup process very easy and accommodating our schedule. I look forward in using Dawn’s service for our next dog boarding need.”

“Amanda and Robert are amazing people and our girl Marlo was so excited to see them again. They took great care of her, sent us many photos and were very responsive as always. It feels good to have people you can trust wholeheartedly with your doggo.”

“Susan was great to communicate with and easy to work with. Even when unexpected things came up, she was upfront and worked out a good situation for our dog. She was also flexible with pickup when our flight was an hour delayed getting back.”

“If you have a small dog, Beverly is unreal. My frenchie loves going to her home. She is given so much love, care and attention the entire time she is there. She has her own bed and rest area during the day with lots of toys. She never goes in a crate or cage, and plays all day long. At night Beverly lets my cookie sleep in the bed. If you are reading this go no further, Beverly provides unbelievable care. I would never consider an overnight kennel and once you try Beverly to babysit you wont either. Thank you Beverly for caring for my baby.”

“Sarah was a great sitter. Both dogs looked happy on their photos and when I picked them up they looked like they had a great time. Snowy loves to play with her ball and Sarah played with her a lot which is greatly appreciated it. She seems very sweet and her home is clean and in a nice neighborhood. Will definitely build a long term relationship with her if she is willing :) thank your Sarah!”

“Leslie was a great dog sitter for our pup, Jackson! She was very kind and took the time to get to know all of the important aspects of our dog. She sent us daily updates with pictures so we would know how things were going, and took great care of Jackson with plenty of walks and playtime.”

Shiyuan is my legal name and super hard to pronounce but I can teach you to pronounce it if you want. I’m working hybrid (90% from home) currently and have plenty of time to play with your pets it would be my pleasure to pet walk/sit your pet soon! If I am in office/ unavailable at times during your house sitting/ dog walking session, I will ask my boyfriend Tanner to sit for your pet/ be my helper. Absolutely set my mind at ease once we arrived. My anxiety was gone after 5 minutes and I was updated daily. Most importantly Bayou was a happy little camper and interacted with her dogs well. Thank you, Tara I would definitely use you on a regular basis if I lived in this state.

Chris and Cass were great! Very patient, kind and flexible. As sweet as our pitbull is, sometimes it’s hard to find a sitter because of the stigma that surrounds the breed. They even had our back when our flight was cancelled multiple times, forcing us to extend our dog’s stay. I’ll definitely be rebooking with them when needed and highly recommend them.

Demi was absolutely amazing! She was very professional, caring, and went above and beyond while watching my pet. She kept me updated throughout the stay with pictures and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear my pet was surrounded by a loving family who helped provide plenty of care and attention. I could tell my pet was treated like family, and I truly appreciated the love and dedication. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!

Megan was an amazing dog sitter. She checked in with me regularly and kept me updated throughout my trip. I truly appreciated that her top priority was making sure my dog was comfortable, which gave me peace of mind during my vacation. Knowing that Bacon was well cared for and comfortable allowed me to fully enjoy my time away. I will definitely book with her again for my next trip and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.

Everything was amazing! Joanne is so amazing with everything and I know that my fur baby is in the best hands whenever she is watching him. The updates with pics and videos is so great to get when away and lets me know with certainty that our pup is doing well and having a good time. Thank you again for an amazing stay!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
