About: My first dog was a Collie when I was ten and I’ve been in love with animals ever since. We’ve fostered cats and dogs for a number of years. Currently we only have our rescued dogs and cats. We do watch friends and family pets when they are away. Also, I worked for a veterinarian for about four years. My husband and I are retired. I’m looking for something that offers me routine without long term commitment. I enjoy walking, and a dog just adds to the happiness. I have a fenced yard and three dogs and two cats. My pug eats in her crate, but she lets herself out when she’s finished. I have extra beds and crates, a comfy couch for your animals to lay on. All dogs must be potty trained and under 30lbs. On active flea preventive, up to date on vaccines.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and caretaker. With my own animals in adulthood, I’ve found incredible joy building bonds with them through training and adventures. I enjoy learning from professional trainers and using their techniques to create a great relationship with animals. I have a flexible schedule right now with extra time for walks and drop-in visits both during the week and on weekends! About: My very first job was starting a dog walking business with my sister and best friend when I was 13! I would walk up to two dogs at a time, feed them their meals, spend time with them while their owners were away, and play with them! I now have two of my own dogs that I adore and love spending time with. Throughout the years, my love for dogs and animals has only grown! I have been completing Rover services since May of 2026, and have fallen in love with it as a full-time job! I am available Monday through Friday, and the times are very flexible, as well as weekends as needed. I am looking to see more dogs weekly, so reach out to see if the times works! At my house, we have a fenced in yard, so my dogs roam freely. While on walks, they use a harness and a leash. I am comfortable with putting on all harnesses and prefer to walk a dog with a leash, but if the dog is trained well enough to not need one, I am comfortable with that as well.

About: Hello all! I am a huge animal lover and have been an avid volunteer at various shelters for many years. I have been a trusted sitter for many friends and family members, and have pets of my own who are very much part of my family. I have a great deal of experience with many different breeds, some positive reinforcement training experience, and some basic first aid/troubleshooting experience. I will always treat any animal within my care as my own, and take my responsibility of being trusted with someone's family member incredibly seriously. I work from home on a varied, part-time schedule. I plan to use the late morning/early afternoon hours when I am typically free to do walks and/or check-ins and can do overnights as needed when my schedule allows. Making sure there is not "people food" easily accessible to the pet when that's a concern, being mindful of small parts they may try to eat and choke on etc. Making sure the animal has enrichment activities to make it less likely they will chew on or destroy anything they aren't supposed to. Paying attention to notes on pet profiles, making myself aware of any concerns with cats/dogs/kids/food aggression etc. Being sure to lock & double check doors before bed or when leaving the property.

About: I grew up with dogs, so caring for them is second nature to me. I am able to do basic grooming as well as bathing! I helped raise my family's current dog, taking her on walks as well as training her. I am not a certified trainer, but I had fun training her and found it relatively easy! I have experience with both large/extra large dogs as well as small dogs, with varying activity levels. I am currently home from college for summer break. I have church on Sunday mornings as well as karate Monday evenings, but other than that I am free to care for your fur babies! Each day includes at least 30 minutes and three activities (e.g., walks, toys, fetch, petting, treats, and rewards). Phase 4 – Integration (for boarding or multi-day visits) At this stage, the pet becomes part of the daily routine and begins to see me as their temporary caregiver. Phase 5 – Reunion The happiest moment—when the pet reunites with their owner. Their excitement and expressions are truly priceless.

About: I love to work out and think your pet should be able to too. I like taking my dogs hiking and on long walks to keep them in shape. I will walk in all types of weather with your dog. I love playing with dogs and I am comfortable with all breeds. I have mostly owned large breed dogs and I am very comfortable with dogs like Pitt-bulls and Rotweillers. My wife and I have owned dogs for over 17 years and we can't even think of being without them! We offer responsible, loving care and treat your dog like one of our own.

About: Well I've always lived in a home with a dog. I started taking care of dogs when I was six years old because my mom felt it was a great way to develop responsibility. Furthermore I was an only child so having a dog present makes up for the time alone. However I always watched my family members dogs often beginning at the age of ten. My family saw how responsible I was with my pet and how I admire dogs so they decided to offer me extra allowance when I watched over their dogs starting at that age (10). Later when I turned 14 and attended high school I wrote an essay about my first dogs which were two Dalmations and everyone loved it and discovered my pet sitting history with my family's dogs so it transitioned to me officially pet sitting other dogs. This helped a lot because I played sports year round in high school making it hard to find a job that would hire temporarily. My mom informed me of this site and I thought it would great to join rover and take on this golden and fun opportunity. Work isn't work when you love what you're doing.
