About: I have cared for family, friends, and neighbors pets since I was young. I have cared for puppies, adults, and seniors. First hand experience with reactive and anxious dogs. I am known for my patience and my genuine love for dogs! My schedule is flexible currently and can be adjusted to meet your pets needs! I do require booking 48 hours in advance for planning. Open to both weekly appointments and/or just when needed! When staying with your pet I will follow the routine that you have established with them. Including lots of extra love and attention to ease the stress of being apart! I will send a photo or video every day that they are in my care. For daytime care I am happy to stop by for a potty and play session or a walk when you need a hand! I have completed training classes (basics, dog reactivity) through K-9 Turbo. About: Hi! I'm David. I grew up in Michigan surrounded by dogs and farm animals. Labrador Retrievers were the family favorite, however, I rescued a Basset Hound Mix during the pandemic. One of my college jobs was working at a doggy daycare center. I was quickly promoted to manager and ended up rolling out a marketing plan for the business. It was a blast! I live in Metro Detroit (Oak Park) and am currently "funemployed" which means I have all the time in the world to take care of your furry companions! I take pride in my ability to be patient, gentle, responsible, and fun with all kinds of dogs, sizes, and ages. I have vast and diverse experience taking care of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, horses, and birds. I'm an outdoors guy and walk whenever I get the chance, so rest assured that your dog will get a healthy amount of outside time. If you've made it this far and like what you've read, let's schedule a meet-and-greet! I take my pup for walks at least four times a day, and let her roam free in my fenced in backyard. I provide attention and care throughout the day! I'm very respectful not only of my client's pets, but also their homes. I'm very trustworthy and neat/tidy. I've dog sat in many homes both for the day and overnight. I treat other people's property as if it were my own.

About: I enjoy spending quality time with all animals. I put all my effort into making sure all animals are acknowledged and happy. I have taken dog training classes with my family dog so, I am well aware of the time and patience an animal may need. I like walks, dog parks, and cuddling while watching Portlandia (among other shows too!). I do not have any dogs at the moment but my goal is to rescue a retired greyhound. Throughout the world greyhounds are being used to race each other, although these dogs are fast, they are abused and neglected and need our help to save them. All dogs and cats have their own personalities and deserve someone, like myself, to make sure they are taken care of. I work 8-5 Monday through Friday remotely. I travel some for my work but can always travel with my laptop. I stay on my schedule Always communicating, being honest and putting others needs before my own. I have been working in the professional pet care field for over 5 years and have lots of experience with animals of all temperaments, energy levels and needs! I was a manager/ supervisor of two dog daycares in Colorado which gave me a vast understanding of dog behavior in general as well as that of different breeds. This also gave me experience in caring for elderly dogs and administering oral and topical medications. I have also volunteered for shelters working with fearful and high arousal dogs using patience and treats in order to allow their personalities blossom! In my pet sitting career I have safely worked with dogs who are both dog and human reactive, as well as those with high prey drive. I am always happy to accommodate whatever your pet needs, whether they are a little nervous, highly active, or just need someone to give them lots of love.
