“Kara was able to accommodate my dog Dobby on really short notice. My dog has really bad separation anxiety and Kara let him sleep in bed with her *cue tears*. Kara was super quick to respond with updates and sent pics. Both Kara and her dog Nellie were welcoming and made him feel so comfortable. Nellie and Dobby played and had so much fun I think he was a little sad when we got home. :P 10/10 would book with Kara and Nellie again!”

About: 10+ years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, temperaments, sizes and ages have taught me that every dog really is one-of-a-kind, and I honor all of their unique personalities and needs. I do sincerely respect dogs, but I always have so much fun spending time with them! I’m a student, and I’m busy with class from 12:30-4 M-TH, so I have the most free time during mornings and evenings. I live in an apartment with my very gentle 8 year old poodle, who I’ve noticed is a comforting presence to nervous dogs. I live a very short walk away from a great dog park.

Along with two, eight-week training courses with Dan Morris, gives me the confidence to handle nearly any breed. I am currently semi-retired and have lots of time to help with pups that have busy parents. All days and evenings are currently available to help with all of your doggie's needs. Every day starts and ends with my dogs. From proper nutrition, attention to food allergies, walks, training, and lots of love. This was my first occasion boarding my beloved Bo, and was glad to be able to leave him in a place where he would get to hang with other good-natured dogs and have a yard to play for a change. Paula attended to our needs and my concerns. I wish she were closer for general "play dates", but if you are going to/from DTW, it's a very easy drop off and pick up.”

“Lisah was a God send. She took Puma in like Puma was her own dog. Lisah sent picture updates pretty much every day so I could see how Puma was adjusting and thriving. Lisah followed my eating instructions for Puma to the letter and made sure Puma was well nourished while I was away and made Puma feel like part of her family. Lisah dog Rose and Puma got well acquainted during the meet and greet we had the day before Puma’s stay began and it went really well. I knew then that this was a good fit for Puma and I. I provide a secure, loving environment in a safe home with a fully fenced yard, Your dog would be hanging out with me and Chewy in a large finished basement, he is free to explore and do anything he wants in the room and chose any place to sleep, I have a huge couch that Chewy sleeps on or he will have a dog bed with covers, his choice! Fenced yard and supervised outdoor play and exercise. I let the dogs use the bathroom in the backyard. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to create a calm, pet-friendly space where dogs feel comfortable and protected. My small dog is friendly and helps create a welcoming atmosphere, while I always prioritize careful introductions and close supervision to ensure every pet feels safe. I’m committed to maintaining a clean, secure environment where pet parents can feel confident their dog is being cared for like family!
