Welcome. We’re Sheila and Keith, and we live in West Dearborn where we’re both home full-time. Your dog will enjoy a calm, relaxed stay here with two adults who are always around to offer attention, comfort, and supervision. Our home is a quiet, stress-free alternative to a busy kennel, and we make sure every pup settles in and feels like part of the family. We care for puppies, seniors, and everything in between, and we keep a steady routine throughout the day. Since we are home all day, your dog will get plenty of potty breaks, time outside, and companionship. We now host up to two dog families at a time, and when we do, each family’s dogs stay completely separate so they can enjoy their own space and comfort. I love photography, so you can expect lots of great pictures during your dog’s stay. I also send detailed updates in the morning and evening so you always know how your pup is eating, sleeping, playing, and settling in. We don’t have a fenced yard, but safety is always the priority. When we take your dog outside, I use a double-leash setup that stays securely attached to my wrist so even the most energetic pups are safe and well-supervised. We take frequent walks and breaks throughout the day. We’re in a very convenient location, about nine miles from Detroit Metro Airport and just minutes from The Henry Ford and Greenfield Village. Whether you’re traveling or enjoying the local attractions, it makes drop-off and pick-up very simple. If you want a home where your dog will be cared for, watched closely, and treated with the same love and routine they’re used to, we’d be happy to welcome them. I recently started a new job, and was nervous about going into the office and leaving my buddy at home. Sheila has been absolutely AMAZING for my Mac. I come home to a sleepy dog, instead of an anxious dog. They've given me complete ease of mind, and I couldn't recommend them more!
They were recommended to us by a previous guest. We did an overnight stay to test run a longer trip in the future. She was very communicative, receptive, and sent pictures and pupdates without me asking. Definitely recommened if you are looking for a comfortable stay for your pet!

We have about 15 years of experience helping our family care for their dogs, ranging from tiny teacup breeds to large, energetic terriers. We’re very comfortable adjusting to each dog’s personality and routine, and we take the time to learn exactly what makes them feel safe and relaxed. In our home, we keep a calm environment where dogs are always supervised and never left alone for long periods. We follow your instructions closely and maintain the same routines your dog has at home, including feeding schedules, walks, bedtime habits, and any specific needs you mention. Safety is always the priority. We monitor all outdoor time carefully, use secure leashing, and make sure every dog feels comfortable and protected. Whether your dog is shy, playful, senior, or brand new to being away from home, we take the time to help them settle in and feel safe with us.
A typical day
A typical day with us is relaxed, structured, and focused on keeping your dog comfortable. We start the morning with a potty break and some quiet time together so your pup can settle in. Throughout the day, we take regular walks down to the nearby parks and through the tree lined streets of the Historic Ford Homes neighborhood. It is a peaceful area with plenty of places to explore, and dogs really enjoy the variety of sights and smells. We make sure your dog gets plenty of fresh air, sniff breaks, and the right amount of activity for their age and energy level. Between walks, your pup can relax with us inside, enjoy some playtime, curl up for a nap, or settle wherever they feel most at ease. We follow the routine your dog is used to at home so everything feels familiar and reassuring. In the evening, we take another walk or potty break, then ease into a calm nighttime routine. You will receive two updates every day, one in the morning and one in the evening, along with photos so you always know how your dog is doing.
